work well for me. She helped me narrow down choices and styles that would work well with my skin and hair type and matched what I was envisioning. She was supportive, and fun to work with and my pictures came out beautifully. I also really appreciated that she helped me feel/look good not just in photos but also in person. Jen also did hair and/or makeup for 3 other wedding party members and they also enjoyed working with her and loved the results. I would highly recommend working with her!

rstanding of my issues as a first-time bride and less condescending in her tone when she spoke to me. Regarding her professional skills, none of my bridesmaids were happy with their results and I ended up redoing everything for myself anyway. I originally signed a contract with 3 bridesmaids hair. Then I requested a change to 3 bridesmaids hair + makeup and never saw a revised contract or signed this version. Then I requested a change to 3 bridesmaids hair only. Here are some snippets of the emails she sent me regarding my request. Jen: “Yes, I’ve been doing weddings for a very long time and understand timing. This should have been accounted for when deciding to change the services to both hair and makeup in April. " Jen: “I changed the numbers just like you asked me to in the email. I did not need an updated signature from you since you asked for the service numbers to be changed and I responded and said I would make a note of the change.” Jen: “I too, don’t want to be disrespected as a small business owner. This is my lively hood. Not a hobby. This is how I pay my bills and live. I’m sure you would feel the same if someone came to your work and changed things. You asked and I changed it. If you wanted to resign to go over it again you had over two months to ask; That was never asked. That being said, I truly don’t have time to go back and forth with this issue. I run my business the way I see fit and have my contract in place for times such as this. It should be read entirely and I should never feel taken advantage of because I am a small business owner. But, I’m choosing my battles and time is most valuable to me currently, so therefore you can go back to the original contact of the 3 hair. I will change it back.” I wish I could copy and paste the entire email thread in here because it would also show me repeatedly asking to speak over the phone. I wanted to deescalate the situation and also apologize. She refused to give me time. When I finally got a hold of her over the phone thanks to my husband, she repeatedly told me how busy she was and then she said that she can’t put me over her family and her daughter. Then she hung up on me. The phone call lasted 7 whole minutes. She never reached out to me afterwards. I didn’t contact her also from the fear of being yelled at again. I was worried if she was going to show up to my wedding at all. She showed up and was professional. However all 3 of my bridesmaids and I had to redo our hair/makeup.

her getting my hair and makeup done for my wedding. She totally understood my vision, listened to my concerns like a friend, and executed flawlessly on the big day. She is one in a million, so talented and has the biggest heart. I opted for the bridal hair and makeup trial so we could get to know each other and from the first time we met it was like spending time with an old friend. Jen nailed my trial and I felt so confident and reassured going into the big day. She literally thinks of everything to pack in her getting ready bag and I LOVED my final look. You will not find anyone better than Jen! Book her!
