My husband and I were married in Three Forks Montana this past August. I knew the most important decision I would make about my wedding day would be my photographer. The pictures from your wedding are the lasting memories you have for the rest of your life to remember your special day. When first speaking to Jen I knew right away she would be a great person to photograph our wedding. Jen took the time to talk to me, answer all my questions, research our venue and came up with tons of creative ideas months before our wedding. She returned phone calls, texts and emails very promptly and professionally. She sent out a survey to get to know our family, situation and wants for our photos. No detail was missed. On the day of our wedding Jen was with us the entire day. She was so organized, so creative and so easy to work with. She organized and directed our wedding party very comfortably and was very patient and brought a sense of calm on our wedding day. She did not miss any of the shots that I expressed were important to us. Jen has a creative eye for photography and will take her time until every shot is just perfect. I cannot tell you how comfortable all members of our wedding party and family were with Jen. Even my last minute requests were accommodated with no problem. Jen made sure she knew the timeline of our day and she caught every detail without ever being intrusive. Jen made us feel like everything was taken care of. Following our wedding Jen got us some "sneak peaks" the very next morning :) She also sent me pictures as she would edit them, what awesome little surprises to get while we waited for our pictures. Speaking of waiting, I have had numerous friends and family tell me how long it took them to get their wedding pictures back, most being up to 6 months. Not with Jen!! We had all our fully edited images back within 6 weeks of our wedding. I was shocked at the quality, timeliness and amount of images we received back. I cried seeing them. They are so special to us and we cannot thank Jen enough for our wedding pictures. She is truly fantastic.

I was asked by Jennifer to get on theknot.com & write a review for her. When I finally got the time to get on the site, I saw that I was going to be her very first review (she is new to the site). To me this was exciting & intimidating all at once, but I very much want to do this for her because she is a brilliant photographer & an all around amazing person. I want to start off by telling everyone that I have not received all of our wedding photos yet, but was so excited & honored to be Jenns 1st review, that I am somewhat jumping the gun. I am sure I will be back with a follow up review when I've had the chance to see all of the photos. From the 1st time we talked, I knew I wanted Jenn to do our wedding pictures. She was so warm, polite, excited, & 100% interested in being our photographer. Some photographers acted rather bothered that I was asking about their services, not Jenn. We talked via text for months, & we always spoke like we had been old friends for years. By the time we actually met in person I completely by-passed the standard hand shake & gave her a big hug! We kept having to reschedule our engagement session, due mostly to crappy winter weather, but when we were finally able to get that session done, it was (cheesy catch phrase coming up) pure magic!! I very much dislike having my picture taken, & was kinda dreading doing the whole wedding picture thing, but wanted pictures for memories bad enough that it over rode the discomfort I was not looking forward to. Jenn was so fun & easy going that all that anxiety just disappeared. She just knows how to interact with people to make them WANT to have their picture taken. It's a gift she was blessed with apparently! The other gift she was blessed with is her phenomenal photography skills! It's a grand gift & you can just tell by her attitude & demeanor, it is also her love/passion. Jenn puts all of her heart, soul, love, & focus into her photos, & because of that the end result is more than any person could dream for. I was very happy with how Jenn listened to our wants, needs, likes, dislikes, do's, & please dont's. She never forced anything on us, like poses, settings, clothes... She let us be us, which in my opinion is very important. I know I've said very little about Jenn's actual photography work, but like I said earlier, we've not received all of our photos just yet, so this review is more bragging on Jenn as a person. She is such a great person! Friendly, caring, giving, creative, outgoing, the list of pure awesomeness goes on for miles! I loved working with this amazing Lady so much!! So much so that I am trying to think of some more reasons to book her!! Thank You so very much Jenn!! -Sara R-
