I worked with her. She is the best balance of fun and energy, while putting my mind at ease that everything related to hair on the big day was going to go perfectly. She made my trial a great experience, and was more than willing to try as many ideas as I had in order to make sure we got it right. On the big day, she worked quickly and efficiently, despite some unforeseen circumstances that resulted in a late start. She even finished early despite the late start! My bridesmaids could not stop talking about how fun it was to be in her chair and what a great job she did on everyone’s hair (and I agree!!). She is up to date on current trends, and really listens when someone is describing what they want. Our photographer even commented on how great she was! All I can say is RUN to book Jen for your wedding day!!

a few minor things to change, and it looked nothing like it on her first pass. I asked her to tweak it, but we didn’t have time to get it all the way there and just had to call it good enough. She also didn’t use the bun insert like we did at the trial and didn’t feel like she backcombed the top as aggressively, so the back of my hair was pretty flat and the top flattened out by the reception. Don’t get me wrong, it still looked beautiful initially, but was not what we planned for or what I dreamt of. Also, several of the women in my bridal party expressed disappointment in their hair as well. She did each person‘s hair really quickly and wound up done super early (and just sitting and waiting), so I wish that time would’ve been put into making sure each person was happy with their hair. And candidly, she almost seemed annoyed to be there. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I’m super disappointed that it was on my wedding day.

The day of, Jen ran ahead of schedule and had plenty of time for touch-ups. She worked so well with the rest of the team; moms, bridesmaids, and MUA. On my wedding day, Jen did an outstanding job on my hair and I was extremely pleased with the outcome. She was kind and humorous when I felt anxious, which was very comforting.
