My hair held up the entire night and she did exactly what I requested (even though I was unable to do a trial run). She fit in perfectly with the convos my girls and I had while getting ready as well :) she was super personable and helped put my mind at ease on my wedding day. I worked with her. She is the best balance of fun and energy, while putting my mind at ease that everything related to hair on the big day was going to go perfectly. She made my trial a great experience, and was more than willing to try as many ideas as I had in order to make sure we got it right. On the big day, she worked quickly and efficiently, despite some unforeseen circumstances that resulted in a late start. She even finished early despite the late start! My bridesmaids could not stop talking about how fun it was to be in her chair and what a great job she did on everyone’s hair (and I agree!!). She is up to date on current trends, and really listens when someone is describing what they want. Our photographer even commented on how great she was! All I can say is RUN to book Jen for your wedding day!!
I was pretty disappointed in Jen. I think she is wonderfully talented, but my hair did not turn out as it did in the trial. We looked at photos directly beforehand and talked about...
a few minor things to change, and it looked nothing like it on her first pass. I asked her to tweak it, but we didn’t have time to get it all the way there and just had to call it good enough. She also didn’t use the bun insert like we did at the trial and didn’t feel like she backcombed the top as aggressively, so the back of my hair was pretty flat and the top flattened out by the reception. Don’t get me wrong, it still looked beautiful initially, but was not what we planned for or what I dreamt of. Also, several of the women in my bridal party expressed disappointment in their hair as well. She did each person‘s hair really quickly and wound up done super early (and just sitting and waiting), so I wish that time would’ve been put into making sure each person was happy with their hair. And candidly, she almost seemed annoyed to be there. Maybe it was just a bad day, but I’m super disappointed that it was on my wedding day.
When I say I wouldn't have wanted anyone else, I absolutely mean it. I have used Jen for all of my hair needs for the last 5 years, and we've been talking about my wedding day for ...
a while now. I would have trusted her to do whatever style she felt like the day of; but I was reassured of her talent during our trial. The day of, Jen ran ahead of schedule and had plenty of time for touch-ups. She worked so well with the rest of the team; moms, bridesmaids, and MUA. Her talent has a hair stylist will not go unnoticed. Her calm, cool, loving vibes make the day that much easier. At the end of the day, Jen is a great gal to work with!

ill indecisive at that point. A week before my wedding date I chose a new look and I was confident Jen would be able to do a great job. She voiced her honest opinion and the two of us said yes to a chic waved ponytail to accent my backless dress.
On my wedding day, Jen did an outstanding job on my hair and I was extremely pleased with the outcome. She was kind and humorous when I felt anxious, which was very comforting. She worked in timely professional manner sticking to her schedule as she also worked on five bridesmaids, two mothers and two flower girls. Everyone was beyond satisfied and loved their hairstyles. Jen is very innovative with the ability to create any style you desire. “We love you Jen!”
