e than that. As our day got closer, and the timelines started to come together, Jenae was the go-to for extremely specific timelines. We flew in from Texas to have our wedding in Colorado, so everything about Colorado and its weather was new to us. Jenae helped us plan out the timeline for us and our bridesmaids to be ready for our first-look, and even helped made the call for when our (outside) ceremony should begin because of the sun positioning throughout the day. I was so impressed with her work and ability to answer all our questions and requests asap. There was absolutely no stress when it came to working with Jenae. She was so funny and professional all in one. You don't realize how nervous you really are until the day comes, but she kept both of us smiling and at ease the entire time she was around. And trust me when she says shes a ninja. When our ceremony started, I can't even recall seeing her walking around taking pictures. She has shots of me looking into the camera and I don't remember seeing her! She blends into the environment so well and is so graceful, literally none of our guests even noticed her capturing all these amazing shots! An amazing photographer should have the ability to do everything I just mentioned about Jenae, AND have quality work. We were so happy with everything we had witnessed and experienced with her on our wedding day, and when we got our pictures, it was like icing on the cake. They were beautiful! I'm proud to say that we made the best decision when we contacted Jenae to be our wedding photographer.

She answered all of our questions and raised things to think about that we didn’t even consider at first. After that, she provided us with a thorough day-of questionnaire to make sure no detail was missed. So it’s no surprise that on the day, everything went without a hitch thanks to her preparation. She was attentive enough to make sure she got all the shots we needed but she and her team were never overbearing. In fact, multiple guests mentioned how professional and prepared she was (especially given we had 40+ family members to get into various photos!). Plus, our package included an engagement shoot which was a great way to get a sense for style, and she gave us some great ideas for where to go for that shoot. All in all, we couldn’t recommend her more highly – 11/10!

expectations. We had a very positive experience working with Jenae for our engagement photos, so much so that we chose her to photograph our wedding. However, I had no idea that Jenae's work would cause me to smile for as long as I did after seeing our wedding photos for the first time. She truly does work wonders. Beyond the top notch quality of her photography, I felt that the customer service experience was far beyond what I would have expected even from an esteemed wedding photographer such as Jenae. She is extremely charismatic, down to earth and funny; an instantaneous friend. We immediately booked her for both our engagement and wedding photos. She captured an amazing amount of stunning engagement pictures on a cold, but beautiful winter day in the mountains with each other and our beloved dog. g the ceremony and reception I hardly noticed them as they were so great about blending in with everyone yet captured so many great shots. Jenae sent us small gifts leading up to our wedding like coffee at Starbucks so we could relax a bit... it was really thoughtful and we appreciated it. Jenae was also able to accommodate our grand exit photo which had to be shot a certain way. We highly recommend Jenae for her artsy photos and fun spirit!

I was skeptical with what the outcome of our engagement session photos would look like, I am sure we picked the worst weather possible with an extremely windy day, but once we got our photos back, you would have had no idea how bad the wind was. We had plenty of great photos to choose from. Jenae was able to capture every moment of our wedding perfectly and we are so happy we chose her for our big day! We had a long list of large family photos and she was quick to gather everyone and capture great family photos. that we were seriously considering just having a family member take photos... then a friend recommended Jenae. We met for our consultation and it INSTANTLY felt like we had known her for years. She made us feel completely at ease as a same-sex couple. We decided on a package that included an engagement shoot and we had SOOOO much fun. She was creative and playful and the shots that she took had us so excited for the wedding. We got married at a venue that was new and was supposed to be completed last year. We had set up a walk through tour with all of our vendors for a date when the building should have been completed. When we all showed up- there were no walls or doors! No matter what happened with everything else, it was comforting to know that our wedding photos were in Jenae's able hands. From the beginning, Jenae was a true professional and completely receptive to my vision for my wedding (and my lack of decisiveness, which could not have made her job easy). She handled all of the bumps in the road with grace and delivered like an artist... a true professional. And the photos! I couldn't be more pleased. Sure, we got all of the "traditional" family photos (anyone can do that), but we got so much more. Jenae captured every single subtle detail of my wedding while also capturing my family and friends at their most authentic. I couldn't be more pleased with the result - amazing photos of the people I love most in the world (our wedding was small) that I will treasure for the rest of my life. Our positive experience with Jenae continued after the wedding ended (after all, showing up is only half the job). It was important to me that the turnaround on my photos be timely. If you need someone to grab something from another room, she may volunteer! She was great about fitting in all the family photos and getting everyone to come when needed. simply ask that friend to take photos at my wedding. My husband and I really wanted our wedding to feel like a weekend among our closest friends and family and felt hesitant to have any "strangers" play a significant role. Without any photographer-friends to rely on, I knew I'd have to hire a professional. I am SO GLAD that I did, and I'm glad that professional was Jenae. The quality of her photos was superb, and from our very first meeting (to discuss her style, services, and prices) I felt like I was talking to a friend. My husband and I knew we wanted to celebrate all weekend long, and since we wanted an outdoor, low-key ceremony, we wanted to wait to the last minute to decide the day (Friday vs Saturday) and time (morning vs afternoon). Most vendors would not have been willing to deal with our last minute approach, but Jenae never once made us feel as though we were inconveniencing her. We simply hired her for two days, and she took incredible photos at our welcome picnic (Friday), ceremony (Saturday), and reception (Saturday). We asked that she not bring a second photographer, and I cannot believe how many photos she was able to take by herself. Looking back at the photos, it seems as though she was often in several places at once. She did an amazing job getting shots of all the guests (my biggest request), the landscape and scenery (another big request), and all the activities (our guests were outdoors playing yard games much of the weekend). She also got so many classic shots (my dress, my makeup, my shoes), that I wasn't concerned about having, but am now, so glad to have. Also, despite my husband's reservations about having a professional photographer and "formal" photos, she was able to pull us away from the festivities for just a few minutes each night and capture some of the best pictures he and I have together. She simply couldn't have been a better photographer for our wedding. Oh, and because we hired Jenae for two days, we did pay more than I had originally planned to spend on a photographer. I sincerely think it was worth every penny. Those were two of the best days of my entire life, and having high quality photos documenting those days is something I will always treasure.

She took us all over the area, knew when to get the best light and we wound up with an incredible variety to choose from - all of which we felt looked very natural, very "us." We even used them in our wedding invitations. Our parents were also very happy with the result. After the engagement shoot success I was even more excited to see wedding photos. Again, Jenae worked with us on what we wanted, who we wanted to make sure we got in shots, as well as some we wouldn't have thought of that wound up being our favorites... and even got us to our cocktail hour to enjoy part of - something we didn't think we would be able to do. She also was about to leave when my husband and his best friends got together and danced, and she turned right around to make sure she captured the moment, which was awesome - those pictures are some of our favorites because they told the whole story of the night. Needless to say - the wedding photos turned out incredible. After the wedding Jenae quickly got photos to us (including a couple teasers along the way to give us a peek). There were so many amazing photos and I felt like the day and night were perfectly captured. Even guests we didn't explicitly say to get photos of were included, I think I could find something for everyone. My family is extremely happy with the end product, and even my husband immediately changed his Facebook pictures, which may not seem like much - but I assure you, the man doesn't think of or want to change that sort of thing often! This is getting long - and I could go on, but seriously - meet Jenae for a coffee (or beer) and chat with her about your wedding photos. You won't regret it!
