Mary redesigned part of of my wedding dress, and I couldn’t have been happier with the outcome! After buying my gown, I had buyer’s remorse because I wasn’t thrilled about the neckline. I couldn’t return it, but it ended up working out perfectly because Mary listened to my vision, and absolutely transformed my gown into my DREAM DRESS!! She is so creative, talented, and has the most calming and confident demeanor. I thought the task might be too daunting, but she didn’t bat an eye when I asked if it was possible. She is so sweet and honestly, my dress experience with her was one of my favorite pre-wedding experiences. It was so much fun bonding with her during my appointments and seeing my dress evolve into the perfect and unique masterpiece! She is TRULY an artist!!

I cannot say enough good things about Jenny and Mary. Our original wedding date was May of 2020 and we postponed until October of 2021. In that time, Jenny and Mary were very flexible and helpful in my weight fluctuations and keeping my dress safe. Mary ended up taking over and was my sole helper at our final dates over the summer and it was such a pleasure to work with her. She was extremely sweet and made me and my party feel comfortable throughout the whole process and offered suggestions on anything we asked. My personal attendants were the ones at my last fitting and I had a full back lace up, she was kind enough to offer to come to the venue on the wedding day to offer assistance if we needed it because my dress was so finicky. It was an absolute pleasure working with these amazing women and I often recommend them in the MN Brides FB page and beyond!

Mary is seriously the best. She's amazing! Trusting someone with your wedding dress can be stressful but there was literally none with her. She walked me through the process and made all the alterations I wanted. She's super laid back and was an absolute pleasure to work with! I received so many compliments on my dress. Please go with Mary for all your alteration needs. You will not regret it! She is the sweetest!

Mary is a lifesaver!!!!! She operates out of her home in Carver MN, and I am so glad I made the drive out there. She not only made my dress fit like a dream, but she also incorporated parts of my moms dress into my veil. She went above and beyond to make me feel beautiful. Highly recommend getting on Mary’s calendar early, she’s popular for a reason!!!

I cannot rave about JenMar too much! Mary did such a wonderful job altering my wedding dress and I can't imagine taking it anywhere else. WOW I was blown away by the amazing work by JenMar Creations. They transformed a 3rd generation family dress into “my” wedding dress while preserving the historic significance. They were kind, thoughtful, deeply professional, and INCREDIBLY TALENTED. I would recommend JenMar to anyone looking to get a dress altered or updated!!

JenMar did an amazing job with my wedding dress! I didn't need many alterations (adjusting straps, hem, and bustle) but they did everything with fantastic attention and detail. While hemming my dress, they took extra care as my dress had ~5 layers of different fabric to deal with. It was great working with them and the price was great too!

My wedding dress was a heavy ballgown with 8 layers of lace, tulle, etc. and I didn't want to entrust any old place with it. Jenny and Mary gave a lot of care and attention to getting my dress just right! They are so sweet and provided helpful tips about keeping the dress in mint condition after the wedding too. So happy for their beautiful work on my dress!!

Jenny and Mary were true lifesavers! My dress came in absolutely huge, over four sizes too big. Jenny and Mary were able to alter it to fit perfectly. Their prices are also very reasonable. All around, I highly recommend working with these ladies. You won't regret it!

The ladies at JenMar did magic with my mothers/my wedding dress! I wore the same gown my mother got married in in 1987. Mary and Jenny were able to work with us to redesign, alter, and restore the gown! It turned out STUNNING. Every idea, thought and concern that arose with everything that comes with a huge project like this was handled by them with professionally and creative efficiency! They have wonderful creative vision and talent! If you are looking to restore/redesign a vintage dress this is the place for you!

Jenny and Mary were absolutely wonderful to work with! I had my dress plus two bridesmaid dresses that had to be altered. They were both so much fun to be around. They made us laugh and made us feel extremely comfortable. I bought my dress secondhand and it needed a bit of work in the bust. They did an amazing job of bringing the bust in and building in a bra so I felt extremely secure. They also did a fantastic job on my bustle. The bridesmaid dresses turned out amazing as well, especially my maid of honor's dress which needed A LOT of work. Jenny and Mary were so quick and kind. I loved having them work on my dresses and I would absolutely recommend them!

Jenny and Mary are fantastic!! They were able to problem solve and create beautiful accessories for me, a belt and my veil and the prices were very affordable. They were so knowledgeable about my heavier fabric and advised that I lay my dress flat so it didn’t get longer while hanging. I would never have thought about that! Upon their recommendation they removed a layer of fabric so I wasnt hot all night. I was beyond thrilled with my service and the final product. I loved visiting them for alterations because it is clear they love what they do, their customers and each other. I miss them and think about them often. Jenmar was absolutely amazing to work with. Not only did they alter my dress, they did my mom's, and some bridesmaids! I had a huge, massive, beautiful couture gown. Jenny and Mary made sure my beautiful gown was exactly what I wanted and they listened to all my ideas/concerns/thoughts! These women are AMAZING. They are superheros if I ever knew any. The fact that I was broken-hearted and down in the dumps from ordering my dress (it was a size too small, and Effie's Bridal Trunk said "oh too bad, but you can order another one") was a tough starting point to begin at. I believed there was no way the perfect dress would fit because there wasn't enough fabric to open it up. These ladies took it and said "no problem" without any hesitation. They made me hopeful again! As a bride with her dream dress that didn't fit right, this was insurmountable on it's own, and they did it. I still have my final fitting left, but these two made this dress work, and I am truly grateful for knowing about them. These are your fairy wedding godmothers right here, don't go to anyone else!

I was planning on a simple wedding, last minute, 2 weeks out. Within a day my mother had made other plans. Still a court house wedding but now with full wedding dress, flowers, cake, the whole 9 yards. So with purchasing a dress last minute, we needed last minute alterations and JenMar was fabulous. The dress fit great, they were fast and professional and really fun ladies who know their stuff. I highly recommend them. If they can do your alterations in a better way they'll bring their quoted price down. Very reasonable overall. If you're in the twin cities area, definitely give them a try.

JenMar Creations saved the day! I cannot express how happy I am to have selected JenMar Creations for my wedding gown alterations. I did not expect to get pregnant after purchasing my dress, so I was obviously very nervous about their ability to make adjustments that would accommodate my growing size while also maintaining the integrity of my beautiful gown. My mother and I felt immediately at ease with both ladies, as they reassured me that everything would work out and that they would assist me with those weird bodily changes up to the very last minute. They treated us like family at every visit, and we very much looked forward to our alteration appointments because of the positive atmosphere of their shop. At an EXTREMELY reasonable price, they added a sweetheart neckline and a bustle for a huge train, which was in addition to the constant letting out of the inner lining as my body changed. To top it off, I discovered that I was pregnant with twins just two weeks before the wedding (meaning that my belly was growing at a much faster and less predictable manner), and they took it in stride and congratulated us wholeheartedly at our exciting news. I never felt like a burden in their presence – I felt like a true bride – and the result was absolutely stunning. Trust me, you will not regret hiring JenMar Creations to prep you for your big day!!!

Jenny and Mary are amazing! They make you feel at ease during what can have the potential to be very awkward during the alterations process (putting in bra cups, reaching in to mess with layers under your dress, etc). They didn't have to do too much to my dress (bra cups, take in under the arms, secure my bustle), but what they did do was PERFECT. I didn't have to mess around tugging up my dress all day. My bustle stayed PUT and didn't fall down at all during the evening. They even let me borrow a skirt so I didn't have to bother hemming the dress, and it gave me a beautiful silhouette (which could have been a very expensive venture with all of the layers and lace). TOP NOTCH service with these ladies.

I love JenMar! I mostly worked with Jenny and I knew the second I met her that I had made the right decision on who was doing my wedding dress alterations. My family members that came with on my appointments were impressed with her and her sister as well!
