pporter. Our hearts were won over and for our engagement shoot - she recommended the most gorgeous location - Eagle Falls. She also gave us great tips on how not to look awkward in photos together. Throughout our time together (post-poned wedding 2x due to pandemic) Jenn was always quick to respond to messages, sets clear expectations, and was detail orientated to take note of who was important to capture in photos for our wedding day. On the day of, she went around the venue to check for great spots and knew when to pull us in for the right moment! During family photos, she was an amazing lead in directing people for family photos (and we have a huge family!). She also made sure to grab us to catch romantic photos before sunset which we absolutely adore. Post-wedding, we received 3 previews in a week and full photos within a month! Her website also makes it easy to order quality photos for friends and family. Know you’re not only getting amazing photos that last forever but a peace of mind and a genuine experience you’ll look back on fondly.

ugh we met with her in advance of our wedding and sent all the details in writing, she “forgot” pretty much everything we discussed. For example, Kelly forgot to bring the list of family groupings for the family photos. Kelly also forgot that we needed seating for disability accommodations during the family photos and chose a location that required our elderly and disabled guests to walk down a hill and then stand outside in the August heat for almost an hour with no place to sit. Additionally, during the ceremony Kelly’s presence was very distracting. We were in a small greenhouse with multiple entrances where she could have easily walked around the guests to get from one point to another but instead she walked down the aisle and in front of our guests multiple times during the ceremony. If it’s possible, when we received the photos we were even more disappointed in Jenn Tai Photography. There was a real lack of attention to detail that was visible in the photos and that you expect a professional photographer to be aware of. For example, in several of the photos you can see phones visible in pockets, hand sanitizer clipped to belts, etc. Also, some of the key photos were overexposed and as a result faces or images were so light that detail was lost. We brought a lot of these issues to the attention of the company owner, Jenn, who did her best to address our concerns during post-production editing. Jenn’s customer service was great and we know that she worked hard to try to correct the issues with our photos. Thank you, Jenn, for doing your best to fix our photos. Overall, we’re still not happy with most of our wedding photos, but thanks primarily to Jenn’s post-production work we have a small percentage of wedding photos that we love and will cherish.

st time in front of your mom- is so tricky and I was blown away by Kelly's ability to be so present, make sure she was getting the shots and be unobtrusive at the same time. I have a lot of professional photographer friends but I am SOOO happy I went with a professional wedding photographer, I realize it is an entirely different thing. Kelly felt like a friend at the end of the day and then there are the photos! You cannot put a price on having someone capture the true emotion of your wedding day. I think it takes a mix of skill and experience but there is an ineffable quality of having an artist who is tuned into the specific vibe of the day and the couple. That was Kelly to a T. I love our photos, I already treasure them as do our families. Jenn Tai is also the real deal, from the moment we hired her company, I felt like we got customized and gracious service, excellent communication, and knew we would be taken care of. What a gift to have this level of mastery be a part of our day. It was worth every penny!

ng people feel at ease. Jenn shot our snowy elopement ceremony at Gold Creek Pond in January. She was well equipped with snow shoes and down to venture out onto the frozen pond for the ceremony, all while slipping and sliding around! Not only does she capture candid moments, she captures raw emotion. We love our photos and are excited to work more with her in the future!

We both initially felt awkward and didn't know how to pose (what do you do with your hands?!), but Jenn was able to make us relax and enjoy the moments with each other. She captured our genuine smiles, laughs, and personalities through her photos. We had anticipated our wedding day to be stressful, running behind, and a hot mess. But thanks to Jenn and Kelly, everything ran smoothly, we were way ahead of schedule, and it was so calm we even had time to relax before the ceremony began. Jenn and Kelly arrived early to scope out spots around the venue for our first look and portraits. We got married in the middle of November, and somehow they managed to make our photos look like the middle of summer! Jenn is a master in capturing beautiful candid moments that help us relive our wedding day every time we look at our photos. We even got our wedding photos way earlier than we had anticipated, which was a great surprise! 10/10 would definitely recommend Jenn Tai & Co!!!

a blast being photographed by her. She captured every moment we could have asked for and then some, and despite the rain, wind, and clouds, the photos are absolutely stunning. When we received our photos, we were instantly transported back to our day. We cannot recommend her highly enough.

e emotion like no other, she also kept our wedding on track. I feel like she was an essential puzzle piece of the entire night that kept the flow as we intended. Without her, it feels like the sequenced of events may have derailed, honestly. Jenn is super organized, and emailed me a thorough timeline of how/when we should do photos in an organized manner, and as a rigid time/punctual person this helped me out massively. It really kept everything on schedule and I am so glad Jenn was there to do just that on the day of. You can tell she's well experienced in the wedding industry, and I needed that kind of experience/advice on my side. I'm also amazed at the rapid turnaround time. She took *SOOO* many photos and was able to get me my album within 1 month of the wedding. I was expecting it to take much longer. Trust me now - book her for your big day and you will NOT regret it. She is definitely worth her weight in GOLD when it comes to having her be a part of your big day.

c. They are incredible and they captured our wedding day with such beautiful photos that I cried happy tears when we saw the album. But just as important, Jenn and Brandon are wonderful human beings who can adapt to changing plans and capture the beauty in moments even under terrible circumstances. We would know: three days before our planned wedding, my groom (vaccinated) tested positive for COVID. Our wedding plans had to be thrown out the window. We called Jenn and let her know that we were going to have to do something different where we'd be quarantined from our guests and all vendors We let her and Brandon decide if they still wanted to participate. They both said yes. With some creative thinking, we were able to have a quarantined wedding. We put all of the guests who still wanted to come on a cruise boat, and the groom and I participated from a safe distance on a two person speedboat. Jenn and Brandon shot the whole wedding using long lenses from a safe distance. They were incredible, and we were amazed watching them work so hard during the wedding to capture every moment. These photos mean a lot to us, because we couldn't interact with our guests -- the photos let us feel like we were there. Jenn and Brandon also surprised us with video of our guests giving us wishes -- a huge, wonderful surprise that let us really feel their love. The pictures here speak better than I ever could. I am so beyond grateful that we picked Jenn and Brandon to shoot our wedding. They are special people and anyone would be lucky to have them.

et. I met Jenn at the Woodinville Wedding Show and automatically knew she was the one we wanted when we saw her photos. Her photos are so genuine and real and that is exactly what we wanted. Her skill at capturing real people and the moments they were experiencing was evident in the work she displayed. I was able to schedule a meeting with her, my fiance and myself and what was supposed to be just a get-to-know-you info session turned into a 2 hour hangout session with us feeling like we had a new friend. We booked her for both our engagement shoot and our wedding that night. My husband and I are like most people and definitely weren't sure how we would feel about being photographed, but Jenn made us feel so comfortable at our engagement shoot. We laughed about the awkwardness of the on-demand kisses but had a great time and the photos were even better than we could have anticipated. At our wedding we gave a very basic list of the photos we wanted and left the rest up to her. She got all the posed shots with us, family and the bridal party and they are all lovely, but the best photos are the ones captured throughout the day that weren't set up. She was able to capture all the real moments and emotions as they happened and we are so grateful. She captures all the love and laughter that goes by so quickly throughout the day and we've had such an amazing time going through and reliving those moments through her photos. We could not be happier with the end result and will definitely be booking Jenn in the future for any photography needs. I highly recommend Jenn Tai and will tell anyone I meet that she's the best!

so many wonderful candid moments. When I look at her pictures, especially the candids, I am immediately reminded of how our wedding felt. We have so many great ones we do not even know how to chose the best.pictures. We feel so grateful to have found Jenn because - even though our wedding flew by - we can recreate the feeling by looking at her pictures.

ve we wanted that amazing feeling caught on film and she did just that. She is great at scouting out the perfect location, getting the lighting just right and making her subjects feel comfortable. The pics look like we were caught in a moment instead of posing for a photo. When it was time to choose a wedding photographer of course I called her again. Jennifer is hilarious, organized, a master coordinator or a large group and of course produces amazing images that you will cherish forever. Wedding photos are just too important to get it wrong. I would highly recommend her without reservation. She is awesome.

and lo and behold, a little facebook ad popped up one day with a beautiful, vintage-y looking photo of a bride. I loved it and clicked on it, already knowing it would be out of my admittedly tiny price range (I was trying for $1500, which got progressively bumped up as I futilely searched). I skimmed through Jenn's portfolio, and the pictures just struck me as a beautiful mix of dreamy, vintagey, artful shots, and lovely, personal, in-the-moment portraits. Nothing forced, none of those hokey "now everyone jump!" pictures (so if you like those--sorry). The colors--oh, her colors were goregous. And unbelieveably, we would meet her basic package asking price, $2000 for 8 hours and dvds of the edited pics. The albums/prints could be purchased ala carte. Jump to the wedding. Jenn was all over the place! In a good way! Unobstrusive, but direct and knowledgeable and QUICK. She is funny as hell and I got along great with her. No prima donna there. As I woke up the next morning, my new husband asked me, "I wonder when we'll get our pictures?" I shrugged, picked up my phone, and saw that I had been tagged in 25 new photos on facebook...Jenn had been working through the night editing, and had posted them at 3 am, this after a 8 hour wedding in which she was constantly moving, thinking, planning, directing, etc. And oh my...oh my...those teaser photos. Absolutely breathtaking. Artistic. Personal. This is the work of a photographer who costs thousands of dollars beyond what we paid Jenn. People would easily pay 2-3x what we spent on her services. And she has been shooting professionally only two years! I think in the next few years, as her portfolio builds, her prices will necessarily have to increase, she's just too dang good. I really think this is one of the best "deals" I ever stumbled onto in my life and I can't wait to see the rest of the wedding shots.
