We knew immediately we wanted to work with her, not just because of her portfolio but because she also loved having animals involved in weddings. Our horse Toby was a big part of our day. After our first zoom meeting I knew we would have a blast with Jenna. She is also a dog person (another huge plus!!) and got some phenomenal photos of our dog along the way and, once again, handled our desire to have him in our wedding photos with ease, confidence, and skill! Arguably the most important factor when looking back, Jenna made it about us. She got to know us, she didn’t have a script. She was flexible and in tune with what we wanted and how we were feeling. She made informed recommendations on number of pictures, timing, etc. but ultimately helped us to prioritize. We wanted more time at our wedding and less time taking photos and Jenna helped us accomplish this. Even on the day of, she was organized and prepared and checked in along the way to help us find a balance without mistakenly missing important/meaningful photos. She made it her job to make sure we didn’t get so wrapped in choas of the day that we went back on our priority which was living in the moment and having more candids then posed moments captured. I could go on and on, but I won’t. Just hire her and you won’t regret it and she will probably be the best vendor on your team and someone you wish you could stay friends with after! She has a way of putting everyone at ease and is really chill. Our wedding was a second marriage, and our three teenage children were our bridal party. hem during they day, they are managers of the timeline, and they can really set the tone. Jenna and Emma are angels. I call them our fairy godmothers of the day. So cool and chill and conscious of making the experience as smooth as possible - and also very professional. My husband and I are not big into getting our photos taken (I was personally nervous), but Jenna’s demeanor and approach is caring and confidence building. It actually ended up being fun! Both Jenna and Emma know their stuff (listen to them!) and left no stone unturned. Jenna is also really on top of communication. It was her timeline that we used as the master timeline for the day. I recommend doing the engagement session first because it really helped us understand what might feel funny in the moment would photograph in a beautiful way. During the wedding day, Jenna was calm, attentive, funny, strategic, and light-hearted. Jenna, along with her second photographer, Ryan, captured our day beautifully. They both made us feel so comfortable throughout the day, while also keeping us on time. They had us laughing and enjoying their company – we were so happy to find it so easy to flow through the day. My husband is not the best with taking genuine photos. I voiced this to Jenna early on in our consult. While we were taking photos for our engagement session - Jenna made the both of us crack up over everything. Our photos came out PERFECTLY, our smiles so genuine, our faces showing pure happiness. She even managed to capture us with our three dogs going wild! We ended up canceling our wedding due to COVID and decided to elope instead. I reached out to Jenna to see if she would shoot our elopement - and it turned out better than I could have ever imagined. We braved 9 degree weather, in the middle of January, on Stratton Mountain, while it was snowing. Jenna was great at making sure we took breaks and ensuring that we got the adventure style shots that we wanted. Could not rate this experience any higher. Jenna perfectly captured our love, happiness, and and goofiness.

Adam and I were enamored with Jenna from the start, largely due to her professionalism, organization, creativity, and most importantly, her ability to be her authentic self. I've been to plenty of weddings and in my experience, I am the only bride who was able to receive 100-300 sneak peek pics 2 weeks after our wedding. Then, in Dale Earnhardt Jr. speed, had a curated and organized photo gallery of our big day (to make selection and scrolling easier) sent to us, and are continuously updated with discount deals, framing and matting options to compliment our pictures from our already stunning photo gallery, and even had a wonderful and thoughtful blog write-up reflecting on our big day. Jenna goes beyond just the lead up events and to your wedding day - she tends to follows up with anniversary posts (who doesn't love an excuse to relish in your favorite day ever). She's sent Starbucks giftcards during the pandemic to bring some joy, takes time to remember the little things, and somehow aside from all that, posts tips to brides for how you can have the best wedding photographer experience, and provides insight to vendors and those looking to start their own photography business. I feel so lucky to have stumbled upon Jenna during my VT Photographer search, and I look forward to her posts of future brides also lucky enough to have her capture their big day. You may regret some parts of your wedding day (inviting that weird uncle, your choice of shoe, that last glass of wine) but you won't regret choosing Jenna as your wedding photographer.

via Instagram and I knew just by our messages back in forth she was going to be amazing. She was very informative, sincere, and just a total sweetheart. We did a zoom call prior as well to get to know each other and ease any nerves. Our engagement session was everything we could have imagined! We both immediately knew we had to have her for our wedding in Aruba in March 2022. At our wedding, I can't even count how many people complimented how awesome Jenna was. Unfortunately the weather didn’t hold up for photos, but Jenna offered to meet up IRL before the wedding to calm my nerves, which was really helpful. We’re looking forward to doing an anniversary session with her next year! Leading up to the wedding, Jenna shared a detailed wedding guide and asked us to fill it out, which we used to track photo groups and timing. She sent this out far enough in advance to help us think about which photos we wanted, and again shared really helpful advice on what might work best for our crew. On the wedding day we had a few bumps with the schedule, but Jenna saved the day and kept things as calm cool and collected as they could be, and she worked extra hard to keep us on schedule! After the wedding, Jenna delivered our sneak peek gallery in TWO DAYS. Wow. And not just 10 or so images- it was over a hundred! Jenna is a fabulous, down to earth human who is an incredible wedding photographer, and a great friend!

She hung in there with us as we all froze to get the best snow pics. (I think we're all still defrosting!) Once the wedding neared, Jenna sent a detailed timeline and questionnaire that helped us prep everything we needed to think about for the wedding and photos. It was easy and incredibly helpful as you don't really realize how much of a part photos play into your wedding day. On the actual wedding day, Jenna was a calm and supportive presence. Once the dancing started, Jenna faded seamlessly into the crowd, capturing hilarious candids of everyone enjoying the night. She got creative with us when we went off to steal some golden hour pics and decided to lay down in the tall grass - finding fun ways to capture our authentic selves and our love. The biggest point about Jenna that I need to highlight is her ability to not only bring calm and happiness, but her ability to instill confidence. I had confided that I was still getting comfortable in my larger body and working on body positivity. I was self conscious about a double chin in weird angles and just not sure how I'd photograph in my dress. Jenna was incredible. Not only did she make me feel fearless and beautiful, but she helped guide me as I posed for photos with a "chin up" or "turn this way" so I knew she was looking out for me. Both my husband and I were in awe watching her work and the amount of energy she brought to the day. Best decision we ever made was to hire Jenna as our photographer. She's incredible!!

She was truly present in getting to know us as a couple and there was never any pressure or sense that she had somewhere else to be. Frankly, we weren't sure how or where we were going to get married, and Jenna had this way of drawing out what we really wanted from that day. She helped us realize that our priority was to be in a magical, intimate place where we could exchange vows without distraction and before an awe-inspiring place in nature. We decided to have an elopement with just the two of us and Jenna. Jenna was instrumental in providing recommendations for stunning locations, and helped research where there would be good light, and if sunrise or sunset would be better. If you can imagine, it was so important to us that the only other person there to hear us exchange our vows would be someone whom we felt like we had known our entire lives. Jenna is disarming, casual, yet professional and very talented. From our first contact with Jenna up until the present (nearly a year later as we write this 2 weeks away from our first anniversary), Jenna has been ahead of any questions with her regular communication and follow-up. She was prompt in getting us her favorite shots from the day edited and uploaded to a gallery that we could easily share with our families shortly after exchanging vows. Our day was full of laughter, and we could not have asked for a better person to spend it with! I also have to mention that Jenna was more than willing and excited to hike with us up a peak (during Vermont's mud-season) to photograph our vows. Despite raining all morning, the sky opened for us at sunset, and Jenna captured it on camera almost as good as it felt in person. No average photographer could have captured not only the natural beauty of the scenery around us, but also the intimacy of each moment between us. We are so grateful to have met Jenna, and we recommend her to anyone and everyone without reservation. You will not be disappointed.
