Alaska’s rugged beauty is what led me to become a photographer. I started capturing the stunning landscapes and amazing wildlife when I moved to Kodiak as a military spouse in 2009, but I soon discovered I enjoyed creating portraits and capturing life’s special moments even more. Now those scenic views are the backdrops for my client’s stories and Alaska has become my permanent home. As a photographer, I get to meet the most amazing couples and capture the beautiful elements of their special day so they can relive the memories for years to come. Utilizing a photo-journalistic style of blending in and capturing your day as it unfolds, allows me to document your wedding in a way that won’t interrupt or take away from you enjoying these amazing moments with your beloved and family. Rather than making you fit set package options, I offer an hourly rate so you can book as little or as much coverage as you need and fits your budget. I also offer a complimentary engagement session when you book wedding or elopement photography services. I find it’s a good way for couples to get to know me and become comfortable in front of the camera before the wedding day. Considering a micro-wedding or elopement? I’m combining my prior experience as an event planner with my photography skills to offer a limited number of styled elopements. This option includes bespoke event coordinating, an officiant, florals, hair and makeup, 3 hours of photography, a custom tablescape for two with a dessert option, and more for an all-inclusive rate.
