en start when it comes to narrowing down who you want to hire for your big day? We went about finding our wedding photographer (Jenna) through a social media group called the Chicago Toasters. It's a private group with over 10K local women that's an open forum for asking questions, getting recommendations, etc. I decided to browse old post threads within this group where other women that were getting married were asking for photographer recommendations in the Chicagoland area for their wedding. I made note of all the photographers that got recommended several times, and Jenna was one of them! From there, we contacted Jenna and the rest is history. And let me tell you, we are SO glad we chose Jenna to work with - She is AMAZING in all ways. -She is fun, friendly and she makes you feel at ease immediately -Her photography style is beautiful, light and airy -She is assertive -She is great with her communication and provided so many great resources and professional guidance throughout the entire process On the day of our wedding, the Chicago lights festival parade was also happening. We planned to take bridal party pictures by the Wrigley Building, and when we arrived we were getting asked to leave by the police. Jenna worked her magic and was able to convince them to let us use the space for 20 minutes - Jenna and her assistance captured SO MANY great photos within this short period of time and worked so well under pressure! We could not recommend Jenna more - If you are in the process of looking for a wedding photographer, Jenna is the way to go! You will not be disappointed. We love you Jenna! Jenna is the cheerleader every couple, bridal party and family needs with the right dose of type-A to get things done efficiently. She makes you feel so comfortable in front of the camera that you forget you're posing. She makes the shoots fun and light while still letting you be in the moment. Jenna also has so many great resources available to support her couples along the way between the engagement shoot and wedding day. Come wedding day, watch out. This woman (and her assistant) are absolute rock stars that keep you on schedule, make sure you get all the important shots, and then blend into the reception so well you'll forget they are there capturing this big moment in your life. I am looking forward to the next big moment in our lives so we can hire Jenna again, not only because we love our photographs but because we love her so much.

wedding planning - Jenna held me down on the days leading up to our wedding and on our wedding day. She makes you feel like you are the most stunning bride of all time, has the best sense of humor that makes you forget that you totally suck at posing for photos, and just captures you as YOU. That's what you want right? Also - for the brides out there with guys who hate taking pictures, look no further. She's still your girl! My husband normally hates taking photos, but Jenna had him laughing non stop (while also having him think that he could have a career in modeling). The pictures that she captured of him and us as a couple are moments that I will treasure forever. I cannot thank Jenna enough for all of the big and small things that she did for us on our day. In a day filled with happy (& some sad/stress) tears, Jenna captured every moment that will matter to us years from now.

Jenna is warm, fun easy to communicate with and detail oriented. Since we got engaged and married in 2020/21 there were multiple changes we had to make due to COVID. Jenna was flexible and supportive the entire time. On our wedding day it ended up raining for part of the day. Last minute we had to change one of our photo locations. Jenna gave us multiple options and helped to make the day so successful. We absolutely LOVED both our engagement and wedding photos. They are beautiful and we will cherish them forever. The amount of photos we got is incredible and is well worth the investment. We highly recommend Jenna and are so happy she was a part of our wedding!

ugh her beautiful portfolio - no words, just stunning. On top of that, Jenna is the most caring, vibrant, genuine and sweetest person. We love her as a person and at the end of the day, that's the type of person you want capturing your special day. We met Jenna for our engagement shoot on a not so ideal Chicago summer day. Our shoot was on the Lake Shore path and there happened to be an emergency citywide wind advisory and 20 ft waves. Oh, and it was FREEZING, and we had dog with us. We were SO nervous and second guessing the whole shoot. She was 1000% committed from the start and despite the crazy weather conditions, she made us laugh and made us feel so comfortable, even our dog. It just shows how much she loves her job, and how invested she is with her couples. And, you would NEVER know that the weather was nuts by looking at the photos. They turned out be stunning. Those photos are some of our favorites! Fast forward a year to our wedding day...Jenna showed up early and went above and beyond on our special day. She captured our love so perfectly! I can't begin to describe how beautiful our wedding portraits turned out. She gave great and clear direction the entire day and it felt very natural. Also, Jenna knew we had a long shot list and a million family members to capture. She was so well prepared and dictating the timeline like a BOSS. Her 2nd shooter, Nikole, also did an amazing job wrangling family and surprisingly, we stayed ahead of schedule the entire day, which was a miracle! I know there are a million photographers out there so let me make it easier for you - CHOOSE JENNA! She is immensely talented and an absolute gem of a person. 😍

e one you typically spend the most time with the day of, and their work will last a lifetime. So, it was important to us to hire someone who would not only take beautiful pictures, but who we would feel happy and comfortable spending time with on our big day. We interviewed multiple photographers, and were immediately impressed by Jenna's balance of professionalism and positive energy. When we did our engagement shoot, she was upbeat, organized, and patient. Neither of us is a natural in front of the camera, but Jenna provided just the right amount of encouragement and direction for us to feel comfortable and to get beautiful photos. As we got closer to the wedding, Jenna worked with us and our month-of-coordinator to create a detailed timeline. On the big day, she continue to strike the perfect balance of being upbeat and professional. During the ceremony and reception, she and her assistant did a great job of blending in and capturing events as they unfolded - we often didn't notice that they were there taking pictures. During extended family photos, Jenna did a great job directing the crowd and tactfully handled some awkward situations with relatives. During wedding party shots, it was nearly 100 degrees outside - Jenna did an excellent job of keeping things moving while also getting the key shots that we wanted. When we got the link to our online gallery after the wedding, we were so excited and happy with Jenna's photos. She did a great job of capturing not only the big moments, but also the small details that couples spend a lot of time on and want to remember (e.g., place settings, favors, special jewelry). The photos look like our memories of the day - they are bright, crisp, and professional without looking over-processed. We would strongly recommend Jenna to anyone who is looking for a photographer for their own special day.

met through our Facetime meeting, my husband I knew she was our person. Jenna was beyond wonderful and so simple and easy to work with. She went above and beyond for both our engagement shoot and wedding. You can tell she is someone who truly loves her job and wants to bring each moment to life through a picture. She wasn't a "posey" photographer which helped us feel more comfortable in front of the camera. Stunning! That doesn't even begin to describe how beautiful our wedding pictures came out, Jenna did an absolutely fabulous job and we would work with her again in a heart beat :)

er's. We set up time to Facetime with Jenna and clicked with her instantly!! We knew we had to hire her for our wedding and did NOT regret it. Jenna did a wonderful job with both our engagement and wedding photos. She worked efficiently and captured so many different poses and locations (which she helped us select when we needed input). We were blown away by the final product! I don't know how we are going to choose our 30-40 favorites that will be used to create the album that is included in our package. she also goes for the candid shots more than posed. Her turn-around time is so quick and she is super easy to get in touch with. Jenna ended up being my go to person for questions and she is so great to bounce ideas off of. I can't say enough good things about Jenna. I would do the whole day again just to have her take pictures. She is the sweetest and so crazy talented. The pictures speak for themselves. I love her.
