Jenna and Andrew are just INCREDIBLE! I could not recommend them any higher, honestly. Here are 3 things I want you to know about them: 1. The results. Our pictures and video are beyond gorgeous and we couldn't be happier with them. The quality is absolutely amazing and their eyes for detail are just stunning. The angles, images, colors, poses, candids, faces they captured, special moments... just everything we could have hoped for and more. From their equipment to skill set; they've obviously invested heavily in their craft for many years and it shows. 2. Their professionalism. I promise you won’t regret it… just TRUST them. Before our wedding day, I channeled all my nervous energy into creating a ridiculously long “wish list” of shots to capture, gleaning inspiration from all the internet advice. I wish I could go back and tell my former self that was absolutely NOT necessary. Jenna and Andrew captured it all and more. Jenna patiently helped me filter through everything, assuring me that 98% of what I listed was in their standard repertoire already. And for those few extra details that were unique to our special day, they remembered EVERY LAST DETAIL, even ones I had since forgotten. Seriously, every detail. It was beyond amazing. Their entire process and all communication is the epitome of professionalism. My family has absolutely raved over our shots “how did they even get that shot? I don’t even remember them being there!” Both discrete and ubiquitous. When guests jumped in, they always made sure we knew which camera to look at, a small but important detail. We were impressed with EVERY step of the process. Jenna’s communication was excellent, all forms were incredibly thorough, and the turnaround time was way earlier than we anticipated! Could not recommend any higher. 3. Their friendship. Like Jenna told me the first time we talked, your photographer is going to be your shadow the whole wedding day. Their demeanor and ability to read the room is incredible. At times, she felt like my closest confidant warmly reminding me to drink water as she reminded me it was time to get dressed… sharing a wink over getting my mom angled just so for a more formal shot… laughing as we got pine needles all stuck in the bottom of my dress because we were having so much fun under a tree… so many special memories! And then when I look at the pictures themselves, it’s like they've known us for YEARS (HOW did they know that SUPER characteristic face that my husband makes when he raises his eyebrows a certain way?!? They got it!) Their ability to capture emotion, not just imagery, is phenomenal. We are so incredibly grateful for Jenna and Andrew and couldn’t recommend them any higher.

Jenna and Andrew were incredible to work with. I always looked forward to touching base with Jenna before the wedding. Jenna's personality is so fun and happy as well as extremely organized and professional. Jenna's experience helped us navigate creating the flow for our entire day. We had so much fun with Jenna, Andrew and the team. For a couple that had no experience getting professional photos, Jenna and Andrew knew exactly how to work with us to create beautiful photos (that made us look like pros) that we will cherish forever. They truly work and capture magic! We were so glad we ended up decided on videography as well. For a day that flies by, having the video is so special for us to look back on. It was very convenient to work with Jenna for both photo and video and saved extra stress of 2 separate vendors. As we are both very anxious and critical about ourselves in photos, we were worried about having photos that we both liked. After our engagement session, all of our worries quickly faded away, but our wedding photos absolutely blew us away. We love them and will cherish them forever. Nearly six months later, we are still wracking our brains thinking about how we are ever going to narrow them down for an album! We are so grateful to Jenna and the team and couldn't be happier with our experience!

We enjoyed working with Jenna for our July 2021 wedding. Jenna was easy to talk to, organized, flexible and very interested in giving us the best experience possible. Because we were planning this from out-of-state, it was a bit more challenging. However, Jenna worked with us via FaceTime, text, phone, etc. to make sure that we were all on the same page. She even squeezed in an engagement session for us a month before the wedding to get to know us, and went to our venue to scope out photo opportunities weeks before the wedding. On the day of the wedding, Jenna and her second photographer kept us moving through our schedule on time, but didn't ever make us feel rushed. We loved the photos she took and she turned them around very quickly. She got all of the shots we wanted and it was hard to choose our favorites- there were too many!

Jenna and Andrew are the best!! Our wedding was August 21,2021 and they exceeded our expectations!! Every photo and the wedding video came out beautifully. They both are super talented and have a keen eye for detail. I highly recommend Jenna mccarty photography for all photography needs! We’ll never use another photographer!

Jenna and her Husband were wonderful! We are so happy with ur engagement and wedding photos. Jenna is truly great to work with. She is easy and available to communicate with. Jenna and her husband did a fantastic job with our wedding photography! They were so easy and great to work with and were very accommodating when we had to postpone our wedding, due to covid, to make everything work for us! They collaborated great with our wedding videographer and staff at the ceremony and venue and went out of their way to make sure we had everything we needed that day! They also were so quick to get our finished photos back to us within a month of our special day and we were so excited to be able to relive some of the special moments within such a short time! Jenna and Andrew are an amazing photography team! We hired them for our wedding originally scheduled in the fall but had to reschedule due to covid. They were flexible with rescheduling our wedding date to the following summer. We are blown away by our wedding pictures! Jenna helped us with our wedding timeline and picking out a place to take pictures. She helped keep our wedding day on schedule with everything I had planned. Jenna and Andrew have keen eye for backgrounds and placing people. Wedding pictures aren't something you can go back and retake. We are so thankful we chose them for our wedding photographers! Everyone commented on how beautiful our wedding pictures are. We printed a few pictures on large canvases and the quality and clarity of the photos are outstanding.

Jenna and her husband Andrew are THE BEST team to work with on your wedding day, especially through a pandemic. When we were navigating options to have our wedding in June, amidst COVID, Jenna was there every step of the way. She worked with our contract and assured us she would do her best to make the day perfect. And that she did. She helped plan the day and was so encouraging through the whole process. Jenna of Jenna McCarty Photography exceeded all my expectations for a wedding photographer. We met through a mutual friend, and after a thorough and impressive meet n’ greet over the phone, we knew it was a fit! My husband and I didn’t realize we were picky about our wedding photographer until the choice came down to it, and we couldn't be happier about picking Jenna McCarty Photography. Jenna and Andrew were fantastic throughout the entire process. They listened to our desires for our vision for our day. Jenna is very organized, prompt, and attentive to detail. During our wedding weekend, Jenna and Andrew went over and above by spending some time at our venue scouting it out for lighting so they were extra prepared the day of. Despite living in Chicago, she was able to amend her contract to include fairly priced travel plans and accommodations. She was professional, organized and prompt during phone conversations and other communication leading up to the wedding. After the wedding, we received our photographs faster than initially expected, along with multiple teaser photos right after our ceremony. For the photography itself - it’s stunning! She has beautiful photos in her portfolio, and brings those same talents to your wedding. She even scouted our venue in advance to make sure she knew the best spots and angles for great lighting! Her personality was a great match for us, as she coordinated the family portraits efficiently. Right after the ceremony, she was firm but sweet in getting family and friends lined up for portraits shots, and it was respectful of both our guests and the church’s time. During the rest of the day, it was stress free as she laughed along with us during getting ready shots, bridal party shoot, and evening. Lastly, she and her Andrew checked in throughout the reception to ensure we got all the photos we wanted. All in all, we’re extremely happy we chose Jenna McCarty photography and would recommend them to other couples too!

Wow, where do we even begin?! Jenna and Andrew were incredible from beginning to end. When we met them for the first time they came so prepared with samples, and had all the answers to our questions. We knew right away they would be perfect. The first time we worked with them was for our engagement shoot and they not only worked around our schedule and location but they also showed up with incredible equipment and gear. They were great at going with our ideas for photos but also coming up with their own. Our engagement shots turned out so well. Then, a few months later I had Jenna come and meet me to take photos of me in my vintage dress before the wedding since we wanted it posted at the wedding. She was so kind to come out and do that and the photos were perfect. Then on the wedding day they were fabulous. Showed up early, got everything we wanted but also were so good at grabbing the "natural" shots. From the guests to the little moments to details of the wedding/reception. They're also REALLY fast at getting photos back to you. We had a few photos back the same day we took the engagement photos.. and for the wedding they had a few good ones for the next day because they know everyone wants to post photos right away! And they were incredible.. we have so many beautiful photos now. I'm so glad we went with Jenna McCarty Photography! If you go with them I promise you'll be in love with their photos and their professionalism! Jenna and Andrew are awesome, in life and at photography!

I would like to write a positive review for Jenna McCarty Photography. Jenna & her husband Andrew make an excellent photography team. They were punctual to appointments and on the wedding day. They were extremely professional and helpful with doing photos before and during the wedding and helped keep the evening flowing smoothly with directions during the reception. They did the standard photos. But, also added personal touches and accommodated our wishes for special photos that we wanted. As the mother of the bride, I highly recommend Jenna McCarty Photography for your wedding/engagement photo needs.

Andrew and Jenna did a wonderful job on our engagement and wedding photos. They added a lot of person touches to the photos they took. One of my favorite pictures they took was a picture of my hand maid veil with my great grandma’s bracelet and my wedding rings. Andrew and Jenna spent a lot of hours with us and were very efficient. They were early and stayed late to make sure all our needs were met. I would recommend Andrew and Jenna to anyone who needs professional photos done.

I truly recommend Jenna McCarty Photography to anyone!! My husband and I loved everything about having them photograph our wedding, and Jenna exceeded my expectations through all steps of the process. Originally I chose Jenna because I thought her work was beautiful and she was much more affordable than other options, especially for having two photographers included. From our first meeting, she was incredibly personable, organized, thorough, and professional. In her communications throughout the whole process, she was impressively timely and organized in reaching out and responding to me. During our engagement session, we quickly found out how skilled Jenna was in her posing/set-up so that we were simply having fun and enjoying being together and came across looking very natural in the photos. In the months leading up to the wedding, Jenna checked in and offered assistance numerous times with planning for photos and our day-of timeline. When I was unsure of whether our venue had enough good spots to take photos, Jenna agreed to meet me at the venue to walk around and assess photo locations, which was SO nice of her and gave me peace of mind when she pointed out plenty of great spots. On the day of the wedding, Jenna and her husband/second photographer Andrew were as organized, professional, and talented as we had come to expect—we were especially impressed with our fun shots with our bridal party, their ability to organize our very large families for family pictures, and awesome candid shots during both the ceremony and reception. The day after the wedding Jenna already had several photos posted online, and then within a week she had a very fun blog post up with a lot more of our pictures. In less than four weeks they got us the rest of our photos, which we absolutely LOVE and will no doubt treasure for the rest of our lives! We're so grateful to Jenna McCarty Photography for their amazing work!!

Long story short- you can't go wrong with Jenna and Andrew. They were so wonderful to work with- understanding and accommodating, not to mention they take beautiful pictures! They are very knowledgeable about photography- between lighting, how to pose people, and how to make people feel comfortable. We only got the "preview" pictures back and I'm so in love. I can't wait to see the rest! I can't imagine having anyone else photograph my wedding.

Short review: Hire them, highly recommend, totally worth it. Slightly detailed: We were on a tight budget with the wedding and Jenna/Andrew were great working with us on it. The most impressive aspect of working with them is the constant communication. Quick email responses, skype calls and constant contact from their end. We had Andrew and Jeff photograph our wedding. They arrived on time, knew what to do, took great photos pre-ceremony and were always available for pictures. I never had to look far to find these guys if I wanted to grab a quick shot with our guests. They were always available. I even asked them to have dinner while we were seated and they held off on it so that they could make themselves available all the time. They took a lot of candid shots which we loved. Jenna was away for the summer but did all the edits. Again, constant communication on how long it would take for post-processing etc... Pictures turned out great and they took A LOT of shots. Thanks again guys :)
