Jennette's Pier was the PERFECT place for our wedding! We got married on the pier overlooking the ocean, and it was so beautiful. The fact that the indoor banquet area is right above the pier made is easy for guests to transition to cocktail hour, and the space is perfect for any theme! We could not be more thankful for the awesome staff that helped our day run so smoothly! I HIGHLY recommend Jennette's Pier for your wedding venue!

Jennette's Pier is the perfect location for a wedding. The staff at the pier was amazing. Every question/or concern was answered in a timely manner. Southern hospitality at it's finest! Our guests were as in love with the location as we were. It was everything we could have wanted.

Jennette's Pier is an amazing venue! If you are looking for beach wedding, right on the water, this is the perfect venue. Everyone I worked with at Jennette's was very friendly and responsive to any questions I had throughout the wedding planning process. Jennette's Pier was the perfect venue for us! We got married on the beach next to the pier and then had the reception inside the pier. Jennette's Pier allows you to choose your own vendors and truly make your wedding dreams come true. Our guests loved the ballroom and the fact that they could go out on the porch and enjoy the gorgeous views of the ocean! This venue was everything we could have dreamed of and more!

Jennette’s Pier was beautiful! I planned this wedding without ever seeing it and it was just perfect. The pier was amazing for the ceremony. My favorite part is the wrap around deck over the ocean. Nothing like taking a break from the wedding craziness to go out and feel the ocean breeze and hear the waves crashing. Michele was great, so quick to answer all of my questions! A lot of the vendors are very familiar with the venue so they were helpful in the planning process

I've wanted to get married at Jennette's Pier for years now. We were lucky enough to have that become a reality! We booked a little over a year in advance. The office is great to work with, especially Kayla and Michele. They are great about asking questions and even mentioning a few logistics points that you as a bride have not even thought of. Honestly, the pier is beautiful all on its own but adding in the great service makes it great. I wish we had a little more flexibility with being able to rehearse at the pier the day prior and an extra hour of dancing but overall the experience was very positive. Thank you for helping to make our day great!

I knew I would get married here after a trip to OBX when my husband and I first started dating. Jennette's Pier is absolutely stunning with wall to wall windows, a beautiful fireplace, clean, and can accommodate all of your guests. I can't say enough about my wedding here in April. It was everything I could have imagined and more! Jennette's Pier is accommodating, professional, and my memories made getting married here will last a lifetime. Highly recommend!

Jennette’s Pier was the perfect place for my daughter and her husband to be married. They both grew up going to the NC beaches with their families, when they were growing up. They both love the beach. Jennette’s Pier is a great setting for a wedding and reception. Michele Bunce was so helpful in our deciding on the vendors. Having a full kitchen for the catering restaurant to work out of was great. Having an elevator was very helpful. Having room for a full dance floor, 2 cake tables, buffet tagbles, bar, gift table, as well as tables to seat 110 people was perfect!

When we were looking for venues for our wedding and reception, we brought my parents down to the outer banks for the first time. This year in October it was freezing and my parents thought Conrad and I were crazy for wanting to get married in October in the outer banks. But then they saw Jennette's Pier. We all fell in love with the beautiful reception hall and the view that went along with it. We knew this was the perfect place for us to get married. Our wedding was everything we imagined and more. The staff was very friendly, helpful and supportive throughout the whole planning process, before and during the event. They are very accomadating and willing to go above and beyond to make every moment of the process memorable!

This place is absolutely gorgeous and the event coordinator, Michele Bunce is the BEST! You and your guests will be impressed by the view their super-spacious room has to offer. I'm still in awe over how beautiful my super simple wedding turned out! We had our ceremony right on the beach beside the pier and reception in the reception hall on the pier. The room is a blank canvas and has tables and chairs that you can arrange the way you see fit-but I recommend The Michele Way! She was super friendly and accommodating.

My husband and I got married two weekends ago in the OBX and decided to have our reception at Jennette's Pier. We definitely made the right choice as the pier ended up being the PERFECT place for this special event! The location was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and the JP staff was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process. We received so many compliments after the wedding regarding the beautiful scenery, especially from the balcony of Jennette's. Kyle and I will definitely be returning to the pier during each OBX vacation, as it now holds a special place in our hearts. I would highly recommend booking Jennette's for your next event! :)

I can't say enough about this wonderful venue and it's staff! They were so accommodating, and everything that day went PERFECTLY. The staff communicate well with their brides and grooms, are on top of things, and will help you to no end. Michelle and Kaila were who I worked directly with, and those girls were awesome. It is worth every penny and then some. Our guests had an amazing time. The views are amazing. You can't ask for more.

This was the very first place we toured for our wedding and we booked it within 20 minutes! The natural beauty of this place is amazing! The staff was awesome throughout the whole planning process. Pictures here are breath taking!

We had a beautiful ceremony on the beach next to the pier and the reception in the upstairs banquet hall. Michele Bunce was always available when I had questions and was extremly helpful in our planning process. We had 160 guests which was fairly tight for the upstairs space, but we fit everyone in comfortably and had a cozy dance floor area. Very satisfied! I want to go back!!

Jennette's Pier was our dream wedding venue! We had our ceremony on the pier and the reception in the pier house upstairs. Both were BEAUTIFUL! Michelle, Rachel, and their event staff were incredibly helpful in answering all of our questions and helping us plan our big day. They were quick to return calls and emails which helps ease every bride's mind. Even though there was an event the night before ours, the staff had done an incredible job of ensuring the space was ready for us to begin set-up by 9am. We saw the same great turnaround when we concluded our event; the event staff was out helping cleanup and getting things reset for the next evening's wedding. My daughter and her fiancé were married at Jennette’s Pier on Saturday, October 8, 2016. As any engaged couple and their parents know, there is so much planning to making this event one of the most memorable for the bride and groom as well as for family and friends. Julie and Justin chose Jennette’s Pier a year and a half before their special day. We worked with Michelle Bunce, coordinator. She provided excellent service. Jennette’s Pier was a perfect place for Julie and Justin to have their wedding. Michelle was always available to answer the many questions we had. On the weekend of Julie and Justin’s wedding, Hurricane Matthew decided to change direction from the weather forecaster’s predictions and move up the coast to include the Outer Banks. We dealt with the anxiety of making a decision of canceling the most important day of my daughter’s life or to celebrate. Michelle remained in close contact with us as weather predictions changed. All of the vendors we chose for this momentous occasion went above and beyond to provide us with all the services for a most beautiful and memorable wedding. We moved the wedding ceremony into the reception room. The original plans were to have the ceremony on the beach. We were able to have a beautiful ceremony and reception to celebrate the marriage of Julie and Justin. Every mother wants to see her daughter enjoy and love this special day. I will always remember and cherish the joy I witnessed that evening. All vendors that Julie and Justin chose worked with us and provided the absolute best for us. Julie’s wedding coordinator, Bethany Bouker of OBX Affair was with us beginning at 9:00 a.m. to help with decorating and throughout the entire day and evening to coordinate the ceremony and reception. She worked with all the vendors to ensure all went smoothly even though there was a hurricane affecting the timing of events. I highly recommend her services. John Turner at Harris Teeter was our florist. All of the flowers exceeded our expectations. Truly beautiful. Andy Lawrenson DJ Services provided excellent music throughout the entire evening. The photographers, Ryan and Rach were phenomenal. They even had Julie and Justin meet them a couple of days later to take more pictures without all the wind and rain from the hurricane. Metro Rental worked with us throughout all the planning and changes. Just Desserts made the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake I’ve ever seen. Stripers Bar and Grille provided delicious foods for our special occasion. The displays for the appetizers were wonderful and all of the food was great. A-1 Taxi worked with us in providing transportation for the wedding party to and from the event. Even with the weather. All of the vendors worked so well together. For all of the vendors to work so closely for this special day during Hurricane Matthew speaks volumes of their work and dedication to their clients. I cannot express enough how much we appreciate each and every one that made this day more than special for Julie and Justin. Jennette’s Pier was the very best place we could have had this memorable occasion. Thank you to all that provided us with exceptional service. Everyone worked over and beyond any expectations when dealing with the hurricane. We were able to host a wonderful and memorable wedding for Julie and Justin with the professional and caring attributes of all of our vendors.

This was the absolute best place to have a wedding. Any time of year it wouldn't matter. The view is amazing. The staff is absolutely the best. We had a wonderful experience and would recommend it to anyone.

Wonderful venue!! It's absolutely beautiful! Michelle was awesome to work with and was very responsive to emails and questions. No issues what so ever. Everything was perfect and was smooth! We had our ceremony on the beach beside the Pier and then the reception inside. But you have the option to get married on the Pier as well. Great staff to work with here

Best choice! We always knew we wanted to get married at the pier. Michele made it so easy and helped me in so many ways with my planning. Everyone there was so nice and helpful. They really wanted to make our day special and would go to any length to assure that happened! we will always remember our special day and all the people at the pier that made it happen.

We selected Jennette's Pier given the spectacular view of the ocean. We liked that the reception hall was a floor above the pier so we could have privacy. The balcony around the hall was perfect for guests to step out and enjoy the view. The staff was very friendly, helpful, and flexible. The hall was spacious with nice kitchen and large refrigerators. We recommend renting a dance floor.

This venue is worth every penny you spend for it!! The pier itself and the room you rent are absolutely stunning, and literally each and every one of my guests raved about it! Michele is absolutely wonderful to work with as she is so responsive and answers any questions or concerns you may have leading up to the big day. She also suggested a list of other vendors for me as I was from out of town and didn't know who to chose as a caterer, florist, etc, and each and every one of them were wonderful! I had originally wanted to have my ceremony on the pier, but unfortunately it rained on my wedding day, so we had to move the nuptials to inside where the reception was going to be held, and I honestly feel that it was for the best as it created such a warm, romantic atmosphere that I know we couldn't have gotten anywhere else. I loved absolutely everything about this place! :)

This venue was absolutely amazing. We got married on the pier and had the reception upstairs, it was an extra $500 to be married on the pier and not on the beach but well worth it. We love this site and it's already a place that is near and dear to my heart, but the staff really did an incredible job. Could not have asked for a better day!

Jennette's Pier provided the perfect place for the wedding...ocean, sand, sunset, gorgeous accommodations!

First of all Michele Bunce was wonderful to work with. She answered all of my questions and was so sweet when the bridal nerves started to get the best of me. All of her staff was attentive and kind. She was really flexible in fitting me in to see the venue and to test the audio. I can't tell you how many people have contacted me since the wedding telling me how beautiful the venue was. I was so glad when my sunny beach day, turned into a monsoon that we had the ceremony in the banquet hall as well. It was really spacious and for our 100 guests there was plenty of room. Its beautiful in there by itself, but it also is a good neutral canvas to decorate how you want. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it, and though it is a little on the pricey side, it was totally worth it for me. My wedding turned out just as I had hoped, with the exception of the rain :)

Best venue on the Outer Banks! Michele and Rachel were wonderful to work with and Michele was so quick to answer emails and phone calls! You can't beat the views from the pier and the amazing oceanfront room!

We had our wedding the first week in october at the pier. It was the BEST day ever for weather. The ceremony was on the beach and we did the reception upstairs in the ballroom. All the guest raved about the location and the scenery. The staff there is very helpful in making sure everything is available. They supply the tables and chairs for the reception and have a full kitchen for the caterer. You really do not have to do to much in that place to decorate since the windows look out onto the ocean and pier. It was just perfect in there and very reasonable for the price. I highly recommend Jennettes pier for a wedding venue!!

We could not have imagined a better venue for our ceremony (on the beach alongside the pier) and reception. Having our reception at Jennette's Pier allowed us to research and find more budget friendly options in terms of catering, drinks, and decorating. Jennette's Pier is so gorgeous, with it's cathedral ceilings, plentiful windows overlooking the ocean, and beautiful fixtures, that a lot of decorations weren't needed. We received so many compliments from our guests that our wedding venue was the best they had ever been to. Many enjoyed walking out onto the balcony, overlooking the pier and ocean, to get some fresh air and take in the gorgeous scenery of the OBX, especially on a lovely night with a full moon!!! Additionally, the staff, especially Michele, was extremely friendly, flexible, responsive to all emails and accommodating to all needs. You won't be disappointed having your reception here!!!! There isn't a single negative aspect about Jennette's Pier that I could find!

Jennette's Pier is gorgeous! The ladies in the office were very enjoyable to work with and always helpful with answering our questions. The room is beautiful when it's empty, but after it was decorated for our wedding, it was stunning and perfect. Our guests are still raving about how beautiful it was and how much they enjoyed the atmosphere. I would highly recommend planning your event at Jennette's pier!

I loved the pier! We had our ceremony on the beach to the left of the pier which was gorgeous. Then we continued to the reception inside the upper deck of the pier. The pier was a beautiful back drop to all of our pictures. Every angle was beautiful. The reception room and restrooms were very well maintained. We were able to get there early to decorate and set things up. We had previously met with the director and got to look at the inside of the pier which was helpful to plan where things should be placed. The day of the wedding there was staff available in the morning if we needed anything. They were such a good help. I absolutely loved my wedding and one of the biggest reasons was that gorgeous venue. I love Jennette's Pier and I plan on visiting every year to take anniversary pictures!!!

I got married at Jennette's in May and my guests, husband, and I couldn't have been more thrilled. We got married on the beach next to the pier and then had our reception inside Jennette's. The room was beautiful and everyone loved the outdoor area in which people could sit on rocking chairs or at high tops if they needed some air or just were not interested in dancing. We worked with Michele at Jennette's and she was incredibly helpful, she helped me pick my vendors from their top favorite vendors to work with which was great because I don't live down there and wouldn't know where to start with vendors. Michele was there the entire reception and made sure that everything was exactly what I wanted. I would recommend Jennette's Pier to anyone looking to get married in OBX!

I cannot say enough about the Pier! It was the perfect venue for our outer banks nautical wedding. From the view of the ocean to the staff, it was wonderful and we would definitely recommend! I think its the best place to get married at the beach!

I cannot say enough GREAT things about Jennette's Pier! I just had my wedding Friday May 2, 2014. From the very beginning Michele Bunce was very responsive to all of my emails. When our caterer fell through she gave us a list of preferred vendors and out caterer also turned out to be AMAZING. Every little questions we had, she had an answer to. She even went out of her way to get the proper equipment so my dad could plug his ukulele in to play our song. The reception hall is very lovely. It has high ceilings, adjustable lighting, and an amazing view! There are built in cabinets, which were great for our buffet, and a great fireplace. And of course the pier itself is also incredible! We were originally just going to do a backyard beach wedding, but I'm so glad we didn't! You definitely get what you pay for and more! -the Estrela's

Originally, we considered using a large rental house as our ceremony and reception space. We had driven in for the weekend and visited almost 2 dozen houses; unfortunately none felt like a good fit. On a whim, we swung by Jennette's Pier as we were leaving town. We met with Michele who showed us the space and immediately we fell in love. The interior was comfortable and spacious. The kitchen / bathroom facilities provided more than enough room and there was even a bar we could utilize. The clincher was the wrap around porch with the white rocking chairs. Standing outside, overlooking the ocean and the pier felt absolutely magical; the view was breathtaking. We just knew our guests would be as awed as we were. The entire process, from reserving the venue, to paying for it, to chatting with Michele regarding random decorating questions -- was seamless. We visited multiple times, in the almost 2 years since we booked it, and each time Jennette's Pier greeted us with open arms. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, from day one. Fast forward to the day of our wedding: We held the ceremony outside on the sand, to the left of the pier. We had the chairs arranged in a semi circle, facing our bamboo alter. A surfing competition was wrapping up during our ceremony and strangely enough, the surfers skimming the water were a nice touch. The reception and cocktail hour were held in the space on the 2nd floor. We had approximately 70 guests and there was plenty of space for all the bodies, tables, chairs, dance area and bar. We dimmed the lights, lit hundreds of candles and had an amazing time. Bottom Line If Michele and the Jennette's Pier employees were here, I'd hug them. They were professional from start to finish, and I'm thrilled we listened to our intuition that day. Afterwards, our guests raved about the venue - and we were beyond satisfied.

My partner and I had our ceremony and reception at Jennette's Pier. We booked it based on pictures and were certainly not disappointed. The room is absolutely gorgeous and very conducive to a well-run wedding (nice bathrooms, huge kitchen, plenty of tables and chairs). We worked with Michele leading up to the wedding and Beth on our wedding day and both were absolutely lovely to work with. Everyone was incredibly friendly, accommodating and helpful. We got so many compliments of the lovely space and the staff really made planning a breeze. We couldn't have been happier with our venue choice and would highly recommend it to anyone considering an outer banks wedding.

My overall experience with Michelle at jennettes pier was exceptional. She helped me maneuver through the plans from start to finish. She was helpful in every way. My daughters wedding turned out beautifully. The facility was clean. The staff friendly and there is no better location anywhere on the obx.

Jennette's Pier was both our ceremony & reception venue. The Oceanview Hall was large enough to host all 90 of our guests both for the ceremony & then the reception. The porch allowed our guests time to enjoy appetizers while looking over the ocean while we snuck away for some phenomenal photos. Absolutely recommend the pier - Michelle Bunce was a pleasure to work with!

I loved everything about our venue. I had been dreaming about this place since I was a little girl and my dreams finally came true. If you love it book it as fast as you can! They book up really fast. Everyone loved the outside and the aquarium :)

This is such a wonderful location! The inside banquet hall is gorgeous with large open windows overlooking the Atlantic Ocean. It was a perfect setting for my beach wedding's reception!
