Having a full kitchen for the catering restaurant to work out of was great. Having an elevator was very helpful. Having room for a full dance floor, 2 cake tables, buffet tagbles, bar, gift table, as well as tables to seat 110 people was perfect!

I'm still in awe over how beautiful my super simple wedding turned out! We had our ceremony right on the beach beside the pier and reception in the reception hall on the pier. The room is a blank canvas and has tables and chairs that you can arrange the way you see fit-but I recommend The Michele Way! She was super friendly and accommodating.

RFECT place for this special event! The location was absolutely BEAUTIFUL and the JP staff was extremely helpful throughout the entire planning process. We received so many compliments after the wedding regarding the beautiful scenery, especially from the balcony of Jennette's. Kyle and I will definitely be returning to the pier during each OBX vacation, as it now holds a special place in our hearts. I would highly recommend booking Jennette's for your next event! :)

Even though there was an event the night before ours, the staff had done an incredible job of ensuring the space was ready for us to begin set-up by 9am. We saw the same great turnaround when we concluded our event; the event staff was out helping cleanup and getting things reset for the next evening's wedding. We worked with Michelle Bunce, coordinator. She provided excellent service. Jennette’s Pier was a perfect place for Julie and Justin to have their wedding. Michelle was always available to answer the many questions we had. On the weekend of Julie and Justin’s wedding, Hurricane Matthew decided to change direction from the weather forecaster’s predictions and move up the coast to include the Outer Banks. We dealt with the anxiety of making a decision of canceling the most important day of my daughter’s life or to celebrate. Michelle remained in close contact with us as weather predictions changed. All of the vendors we chose for this momentous occasion went above and beyond to provide us with all the services for a most beautiful and memorable wedding. We moved the wedding ceremony into the reception room. The original plans were to have the ceremony on the beach. We were able to have a beautiful ceremony and reception to celebrate the marriage of Julie and Justin. Every mother wants to see her daughter enjoy and love this special day. I will always remember and cherish the joy I witnessed that evening. All vendors that Julie and Justin chose worked with us and provided the absolute best for us. Julie’s wedding coordinator, Bethany Bouker of OBX Affair was with us beginning at 9:00 a.m. to help with decorating and throughout the entire day and evening to coordinate the ceremony and reception. She worked with all the vendors to ensure all went smoothly even though there was a hurricane affecting the timing of events. I highly recommend her services. John Turner at Harris Teeter was our florist. All of the flowers exceeded our expectations. Truly beautiful. Andy Lawrenson DJ Services provided excellent music throughout the entire evening. The photographers, Ryan and Rach were phenomenal. They even had Julie and Justin meet them a couple of days later to take more pictures without all the wind and rain from the hurricane. Metro Rental worked with us throughout all the planning and changes. Just Desserts made the most beautiful and delicious wedding cake I’ve ever seen. Stripers Bar and Grille provided delicious foods for our special occasion. The displays for the appetizers were wonderful and all of the food was great. A-1 Taxi worked with us in providing transportation for the wedding party to and from the event. Even with the weather. All of the vendors worked so well together. For all of the vendors to work so closely for this special day during Hurricane Matthew speaks volumes of their work and dedication to their clients. I cannot express enough how much we appreciate each and every one that made this day more than special for Julie and Justin. Jennette’s Pier was the very best place we could have had this memorable occasion. Thank you to all that provided us with exceptional service. Everyone worked over and beyond any expectations when dealing with the hurricane. We were able to host a wonderful and memorable wedding for Julie and Justin with the professional and caring attributes of all of our vendors.

She also suggested a list of other vendors for me as I was from out of town and didn't know who to chose as a caterer, florist, etc, and each and every one of them were wonderful! I had originally wanted to have my ceremony on the pier, but unfortunately it rained on my wedding day, so we had to move the nuptials to inside where the reception was going to be held, and I honestly feel that it was for the best as it created such a warm, romantic atmosphere that I know we couldn't have gotten anywhere else. I loved absolutely everything about this place! :)

I can't tell you how many people have contacted me since the wedding telling me how beautiful the venue was. I was so glad when my sunny beach day, turned into a monsoon that we had the ceremony in the banquet hall as well. It was really spacious and for our 100 guests there was plenty of room. Its beautiful in there by itself, but it also is a good neutral canvas to decorate how you want. I fell in love with it the moment I saw it, and though it is a little on the pricey side, it was totally worth it for me. My wedding turned out just as I had hoped, with the exception of the rain :)

the guest raved about the location and the scenery. The staff there is very helpful in making sure everything is available. They supply the tables and chairs for the reception and have a full kitchen for the caterer. You really do not have to do to much in that place to decorate since the windows look out onto the ocean and pier. It was just perfect in there and very reasonable for the price. I highly recommend Jennettes pier for a wedding venue!!

Jennette's Pier is so gorgeous, with it's cathedral ceilings, plentiful windows overlooking the ocean, and beautiful fixtures, that a lot of decorations weren't needed. We received so many compliments from our guests that our wedding venue was the best they had ever been to. Many enjoyed walking out onto the balcony, overlooking the pier and ocean, to get some fresh air and take in the gorgeous scenery of the OBX, especially on a lovely night with a full moon!!! Additionally, the staff, especially Michele, was extremely friendly, flexible, responsive to all emails and accommodating to all needs. You won't be disappointed having your reception here!!!! There isn't a single negative aspect about Jennette's Pier that I could find!

beautiful back drop to all of our pictures. Every angle was beautiful. The reception room and restrooms were very well maintained. We were able to get there early to decorate and set things up. We had previously met with the director and got to look at the inside of the pier which was helpful to plan where things should be placed. The day of the wedding there was staff available in the morning if we needed anything. They were such a good help. I absolutely loved my wedding and one of the biggest reasons was that gorgeous venue. I love Jennette's Pier and I plan on visiting every year to take anniversary pictures!!!

We worked with Michele at Jennette's and she was incredibly helpful, she helped me pick my vendors from their top favorite vendors to work with which was great because I don't live down there and wouldn't know where to start with vendors. Michele was there the entire reception and made sure that everything was exactly what I wanted. I would recommend Jennette's Pier to anyone looking to get married in OBX!

hen our caterer fell through she gave us a list of preferred vendors and out caterer also turned out to be AMAZING. Every little questions we had, she had an answer to. She even went out of her way to get the proper equipment so my dad could plug his ukulele in to play our song. The reception hall is very lovely. It has high ceilings, adjustable lighting, and an amazing view! There are built in cabinets, which were great for our buffet, and a great fireplace. And of course the pier itself is also incredible! We were originally just going to do a backyard beach wedding, but I'm so glad we didn't! You definitely get what you pay for and more! -the Estrela's

t like a good fit. On a whim, we swung by Jennette's Pier as we were leaving town. We met with Michele who showed us the space and immediately we fell in love. The interior was comfortable and spacious. The kitchen / bathroom facilities provided more than enough room and there was even a bar we could utilize. The clincher was the wrap around porch with the white rocking chairs. Standing outside, overlooking the ocean and the pier felt absolutely magical; the view was breathtaking. We just knew our guests would be as awed as we were. The entire process, from reserving the venue, to paying for it, to chatting with Michele regarding random decorating questions -- was seamless. We visited multiple times, in the almost 2 years since we booked it, and each time Jennette's Pier greeted us with open arms. They were an absolute pleasure to work with, from day one. Fast forward to the day of our wedding: We held the ceremony outside on the sand, to the left of the pier. We had the chairs arranged in a semi circle, facing our bamboo alter. A surfing competition was wrapping up during our ceremony and strangely enough, the surfers skimming the water were a nice touch. The reception and cocktail hour were held in the space on the 2nd floor. We had approximately 70 guests and there was plenty of space for all the bodies, tables, chairs, dance area and bar. We dimmed the lights, lit hundreds of candles and had an amazing time. Bottom Line If Michele and the Jennette's Pier employees were here, I'd hug them. They were professional from start to finish, and I'm thrilled we listened to our intuition that day. Afterwards, our guests raved about the venue - and we were beyond satisfied.
