Not only did Jenni have a beautiful portfolio, she had worked with lots of queer couples before, and she had even photographed a Quaker wedding in the past, so we didn’t have to explain any of what we were doing! She made us feel so comfortable, the photos from our wedding are stunning, and she even had them all edited and sent to us in less than a week. All of our friends were shocked, because their photographers took a couple of months, but not Jenni! I honestly can’t recommend her enough, especially as someone who doesn’t usually feel comfortable in front of a camera. We loved her work so much that we even did another shoot with her last year!

I had the rainiest day for my wedding, and I was initially worried that I wouldn't get all the photos I wanted. Despite the weather, Jenni worked her magic, and I couldn't not be more happy with how our photos turned out! You would have no idea it was pouring outside. I'm truly in awe of her work, I don't think my husband and I will be able to stop reminiscing with her photos anytime soon!! changes due to COVID. We had our engagement photos taken out of state, so the first time we met her was at the wedding, and we felt instantly comfortable. She has a very warm and inviting personality that makes you feel like you've known her forever! She brought along an assistant who was just as friendly, and the two of them were a joy to have at the wedding. Jenni's photos arrived when we were on our honeymoon- which we left for a day after the wedding. I was truly shocked (and thrilled) to see them come through my email, because I assumed they would take so much longer. The photos we received included such a beautiful mix of every moment of the day. She even included several angles of different shots so that you can decide what you like best, we received more photos than I ever expected! Everyone always says your wedding day flies by in the blink of an eye, and we couldn't have found that to be more true. In full disclosure I went to college with Jenni and I met her when she lived across the hallway from me, so we've been friends for a LONG time (i won't put a number on it to date her or I - haha). When one of our mutual friends got married Jenni and I were guests and of course she came with her camera. Even though our friend had another photographer (only b/c she wanted jenni to be a guest and not work) some of her favorite photos from that day are the ones that Jenni took, not her photographer that she had hired. After that there wasn't a question when I got engaged that Jenni would be my wedding photographer! So circling back to me and my awkward self - I knew if I would be comfortable with anyone, it would be her. We live in Manhattan and Jenni flew in for the weekend to take our engagement pictures - she was everywhere with us including laying on the floor of grand central to get the perfect shot! They came out so beautiful I couldn't believe it. More over, I looked great, nothing like a usual snap with a weird face. This all put me at ease for the wedding - they only request i had is that she was with me that day because i could use her sense of calm. Now we live in Manhattan and she's in Pittsburgh but she sent a web sheet for us to fill out which couldn't have made it easier. She offered to chat on the phone but we were going in to PGH one weekend so we met up and she took a ton of notes. On that day, it was her and Monica (from Monica Z Photography in Chicago - another blessing of a person!). She had a wedding in PGH the night before, she got on a flight that morning, flew to NJ, checked into the hotel and basically started to shoot. My point was to have her stop a certain time in the evening to become a guest but that was silly of me to think b/c Jenni goes above and beyond and shot everything all night. I wish I could show you all the of the beautiful pictures and amazing moments. We chose not have a videographer and i wondered if that was the right choice. Well, it was, i am living and reliving every moment thru every photograph because there are a TON! If you want amazing beautiful pictures, with caring professionalism and an all around awesome person, you've found it. Congratulations on your upcoming big day- I hope yours is as special as mine was!

When Jenni is shooting you, you feel as though you are just hanging out with a friend. There is no pressure to pose a certain way, but to be yourself, and enjoy yourself. She truly captures the love between you and your partner. In addition, she makes herself available, she is very flexible with scheduling, and is always willing to meet or talk with you about what you want for your wedding. She was the one to calm my nerves the week of the wedding, and on my wedding. I can't even imagine my wedding without Jenni. Not only is she a pleasure to work with, but her photography is amazing, Her style is classy, bright, fun, and loving. We will love all our photos forever, they have a timeless essence. The amount of compliments we have received from family, friends, and others are a testament to how wonderful Jenni's work is. I still can't believe how fast she got our wedding photos back to us! The digital gallery is also a plus, she doesn't force you to choose which photos you want, and leaves the watermark out. You will not regret hiring Jenni, but you will regret not hiring her!

She took photos of our parents 5oth wedding anniversary. You may perceive an anniversary as technically not being the same as a "wedding"...but it is so THAT and much more....50 years more to be exact. That is why I felt compelled to sign up on this site...just so I can review Jenni's work. I want others to have this grand experience of working with such a competent, reliable and amazing photographer. She also set us up with hair and make-up professionals (on my request and payment goes to the girls) for our family photos taken the day after the 50th anniversary party. They were very flexible with the times & dates. They travel to your location and set things up like you just walked into a salon and are sitting at their station! The girls were lovely to work with and Jenni was not lying when she said they were "Pittsburgh's best". All around fabulous experience and she gave us all such great memories to cherish for the rest of our lives. You can't go wrong when choosing her. Thank you Jenni!! Despite it being the hottest day in October, we got so many amazing Fall pictures that made our Save the Date design planning so difficult, because there were too many great pictures to pick from! Jenni was so supportive and helpful leading up to the wedding, even answering my crazy texts (example: where do people get those clear umbrellas?). I asked her a MILLION questions and she very patiently and thoroughly answered them all. The day of the wedding she was prompt and ready to work. She made everyone feel so comfortable and was so easy to work with. Her husband started the day with my groom, and everyone loved hanging out with him pre-ceremony. I was nervous about having two photographers and two videographers at the ceremony and reception, but they were seamless and totally not intrusive. Our pictures for our event were returned to us in a timely manner and were absolutely stunning! Everybody loves them and now the hardest part is picking our favorites! Thank you Jenni for all your hard work and talent!

We were taking pictures and all of a sudden my sister sliced her foot on glass and Jenni told me to stay no one needs me right now and everyone else handled the situation. During our bridal party pictures, one of my groomsmen brought along a traveling speaker and we played music and took photos. Jenni and her husband rolled with every bump that occurred during our wedding day and she was never once frazzled. Jenni kept us on time with all the pictures we had to take - which you will need for the wedding day. I could not have dreamed of a better photographer. I will recommend Jenni to every bride I know.

She was so easy to work with, and very attentive. She made us feel like professionals ;) She was willing to negotiate on price a little bit, and our e pics blew me away. Definitely loved the wedding photos as well, and she even put together a fb slideshow for us. She offered a 2nd photographer (her hubby!). Did I mention she did all of this with a newborn at home? Mad props, girl.

We aren't fussy people and didn't care to have a formal wedding; we wanted our day to be about people we love and things that make us happy. Jenni seemed to really appreciate the look and feel of our wedding and produced images that complimented that day so perfectly. She was a pleasure to be around and really helpful throughout the evening.
