She is easy to work with - fast communication, easy scheduling, and on our wedding day she was everywhere I could ask for to capture things but also blended into the background so she wasn't a distraction. 3. She is a TROOPER! Our engagement shoot was a 4 mile ski/hike up a snowy road (we were on skis, she was in boots) and she never complained, was a joy to hang out with, and the photos turned out great. Jennie was by far our favorite of all the vendors we used and we have photos to cherish for the rest of our lives. Hire her.

She also got great shots of our beloved dog- and took it in stride when he jumped into the water and then shook all over her during our engagement shoot :)

We had our wedding at Denver Botanic Gardens and wanted the flowers, peoples' faces and the overall vibe to come through in the photos. Also, if you're just starting your wedding vendor search, it's important to know that Jennie is also a professional (not all wedding vendors are!!). She is a great communicator, always showed up on time (or early), delivered our photos in a very timely manner, and was incredibly calm during our wedding day. She also respected all of our decisions and didn't push us to do anything that we didn't want to do. She was very helpful throughout the entire process and gave input when needed, but also allowed us to create exactly the day we wanted. One of the things we loved most about working with Jennie is how she kept encouraging us to consider what was the most important to the two of us and to continue to refine the plans of our day according to what we wanted our day to feel like. Between her website, her posts on social media, and the other resources she provides, we were able to create a day that was connected and meaningful. She was easy to talk to and consistently responded to any communication in a timely manner. The day of our elopement was relaxed, fun, and filled with so many intimate moments that would have been missing had it not been for the connection we had with Jennie. It's hard to be in front of the camera but Jennie helps with prompts as needed, which ends up being very helpful in some scenarios. She made it so easy to be ourselves and to be adventurous. We had a few little moments that didn't go as we had expected and Jennie didn't even flinch. She just adjusted as necessary and we all enjoyed some good laughs about it later. I started following Jennie on social media when I was blown away by her photography at my friend’s wedding (and the way she seamlessly integrated into the wedding to capture so many lovely moments). Two years ago, my now wife and I jumped at the possibility to “model” for her in a styled shoot at the dry lake beds in Las Vegas, and we were absolutely thrilled with the results! She was wonderful to work with and the pictures were gorgeous, so when it came time for us to choose a photographer for our wedding, the choice was clear. My wife and I planned an elopement/ micro-wedding in Kauai, Hawaii for Dec. 2020 (hoping beyond hope that COVID would be “under control”) and Jennie was 100% all in! She reached out to her photographer connections in Kauai, finding us a recommended LGBTQ officiant and helping us to craft a timeline that would allow us to have a small ceremony followed by exploring a section of coastline for photography at the perfect time of day (she even gave input on my google doc of locations & logistics)! Fast forward to a week before we were all supposed to leave for Kauai, and we were stopped in our tracks by a reinstated mandatory 14- day quarantine that effectively canceled our Hawaiian elopement!!! Jennie was immediately on the phone with us to regroup and figure out how she could help us to reimagine our big day (including the possibility of postponing it). We decided to keep our date and shift locations to a state park just outside of my hometown of Las Vegas (Valley of Fire), and Jennie once again was all in! Replanning a wedding within a week was quite the adventure, and Jennie was at the ready every step of the way. We each did our own research on locations in the park and regrouped with favorite spots and possibilities. Jennie made the long drive from CO and spent the day before our wedding hiking & scouting the perfect locations for photographs (and using her photographer prowess to plan a photo trek that would allow us the best light at each landscape feature). She also coordinated with our elopement company to make sure everything was handled, leaving us to simply enjoy the day. WEDDING DAY: Jennie was (as always) amazing! She captured beautiful moments during the ceremony, without our even realizing she was there! After the ceremony, we hiked with Jennie, laughing and enjoying two hours of dedicated photography. It was an absolutely magical day, and the photos speak for themselves. Jennie is the best, and we cannot recommend her highly enough.

dding! She was absolutely wonderful as our wedding photographer, and we were so lucky to have found her. My wife and I, as an LGBTQ couple who are both introverted, were extremely worried about finding a photographer who made us feel comfortable, but who was also LGBTQ friendly. We searched A LOT of places on the web, trying to find recommendations from outdated LGBTQ wedding sites for Colorado, that had broken links or few photographer options. We ended up finding Jennie through one of her blog posts about intimate, Colorado wedding venues, and we absolutely fell in love with her photography style. We also loved that she had so many great recommendations about vendors and helpful posts about wedding planning in general. Her blog post is how we ended up finding our dream wedding venue, Deer Creek Valley Ranch. They had not even been on our radar, until we read her blog, and we ended up touring there and falling in love with it immediately. I think though our favorite thing about Jennie, though, is how comfortable she made us feel in front of the camera. We had know idea what to expect or even if we would feel so awkward that we wouldn’t get any good facial expressions. With Jennie, it didn’t even matter! She not only made us feel comfortable and guided or directed us when needed, but she managed to find all these magic shots of emotion, laughter, and spontaneity that we didn’t even realize had happened from both our engagement session and our wedding. We absolutely LOVE all of our photos from both our engagement session and our wedding. They really capture all the emotions we felt, and just take us back to each special moment from that day. Jennie was worth every cent, and we were so lucky to have her as our wedding photographer!

g. Personality -> An extremely kind and friendly professional, Jennie will literally climb a mountain or tree to get the best angle for a picture of you. She is a dedicated person who is an absolute delight to interact with. Responsive and thorough, she is an ideal vendor. Pricing -> Jennie has levels of pricing that can accommodate anyone. We had originally booked her longest package for 10 hours of shots and an assistant. The wedding was thrown off by COVID-19 and she was extremely flexible and thoughtful in letting us switch to a new 3 hour schedule. She charged us no fee and sent us a new contract right away. Her flexibility saved us tons of stress during a very difficult time. We wanted her there no matter what! Quality -> During the ceremony, I (the bride) broke out into serious hives that were clearly visible from my neck and down my arms. I was devastated that all the photos would clearly show my stress from the day. Not on Jennie's watch! She spent WEEKS meticulously taking off every hive from those photos and making me seem flawless that day. I couldn't believe it and cried with relief when we got the photos. All the photos were so flattering and had gorgeous lighting. Her photo cues and set ups are fantastic. She truly celebrates all kinds of love and is an open and loving individual. I wish I could thank her more for the beautiful memories she gave us. With her, we forgot about the change wedding, the pandemic, and the logistical issues of the day and she didn't need to tell us to smile big (we felt it already)! Thank you, Jennie - we adore you!
