The Jennie Kay Beauty team is extremely talented, and I highly recommend them. Jess (who's the best btw) did my hair trial and day-of hair. She took my inspiration and really styled my hair exactly how I wanted. Because I did the trial, it put me at ease for the big day. The salon was really easy to communicate with leading up to the wedding, and Jennie herself handled the booking of my appointments--she was so sweet! My bridesmaids and I did in-salon appointments, but I thought it was great that the salon could go to you if you so desired. Huge shout out to Emily and Brandon who did my bridemaids' hair and makeup, too; they looked drop-dead gorgeous.

Jennie Kay is an absolute star, and I highly recommend her for wedding hair & makeup! First, she is so lovely & sweet, and I think it's really important to have positive and kind people around you during your wedding planning and day of. Second, she is super talented and easygoing! I was fairly particular about what I wanted from my makeup, and I even brought some of my products with me. Jennie was more than happy to use them, and we had a fun time playing around during my trial to get the look just right for the big day. and my HAIR looked absolute perfection. She is a perfectionist and will take her time getting it right. Lastly, it was horrendous weather in late September on my wedding day, and JK kept everything calm and light in the salon :). Brandon did the makeup for the bridal party ladies, and he did an amazing job, too! Thank you, Jennie Kay!!

As a bride who loves spending hours in Sephora and pinning bridal looks on Pinterest, hair and makeup was one of if not the most important decisions I made for the wedding. I can wholeheartedly say that choosing Jennie and her team to work my wedding weekend was the best decision I ever made! Jennie is a master colorist and before the weekend got underway she colored my hair and achieved the exact color I was going for! Jennie did such an amazing dye job that my maid of honor said that she didn't realize my hair was in need of a breath of new life until Jennie's amazing color job! Her balayage skills are second to none and she is a true artist when she paints your hair. Jennie's team also did my hair and makeup, as well as my MOH's and my mom's, for my wedding welcome party and again they knocked it out of the park. They achieved the exact look each one of us was going for, and throughout the evening we were showered with compliments regarding our hair and makeup. Jennie and Steph also did the hair for myself, my bridal party, my mom and mother-in-law on my big day. Jennie and Steph created amazing looks that captured exactly what each of the women wanted but at the same time managed to make everything look cohesive. The weather on my wedding day was pretty windy, and at the last minute I asked Jennie if she wouldn't mind staying for touch-ups, even though this had not been planned Jennie went with the flow and stayed to help out some more! Having spent so much time with Jennie and her team during the weekend, I feel like I got to know her and her team well and connected with them on a level deeper than one of stylist and client. Jennie is one of the most genuinely kind people I have ever met and her presence was both energetic and calming, as well as positive and caring. Jennie made sure everyone felt comfortable and loved the way they looked. I cannot truly put into words how grateful I am that I had Jennie and her team around me all throughout my wedding weekend. After spending so much time with Jennie, I consider her to be a close friend and part of the family; I cannot wait to work with Jennie again and I will not be going to anyone else to get my hair colored!!! Jennie and her team are hands down the best. For my wedding, we had 9 ladies total getting ready and everyone's hair as well as make was done perfectly. Everyone was extremely happy with the outcome; the hair and makeup photographed unbelievably! Spending the morning with the team was a blast, the girls are extremely talented, kind and fun to be around. If you are getting married in RI, Jennie's team is a MUST book.

The first thing my husband said to me after we said "I Do," was: "Wow! I've never seen your hair like that before!" And while yes all brides are beautiful on their big day, all credit for my look goes to Jennie Kay. I absolutely loved having her from the minute I had my hair trial to when I was running out the door to get to the church. She absolutely nailed the look I wanted - natural but beautiful. Erin helped coordinate ALL the details to perfection, and having Jennie in the room the day of my wedding was really like having one of the girls with me. She honestly felt like a friend more than my stylist - which is a big component of a wedding day: keeping drama away from the bride! Another aspect about Jennie I loved was that she is totally honest, no b.s. She knows what will work for you for your complete look and will not steer you wrong. Jennie also wants your hair and skin are at their healthiest, so she made sure to help me prep myself as best I could for my wedding. She also killed it with my mom and maid of honor. We all looked incredible. Jennie, thank you for making me look like an absolute stunner on my wedding day!!!

Jennie and her team are absolutely incredible. It is so nice as a bride to hire a vendor and have total trust in them and that is how I felt with Jennie. I didn't have to worry about a thing and I knew everything would turn out wonderful. She's professional and so sweet! I had Jennie do my hair, make up and hair color before the wedding and I continue to receive compliments!!! Jennie and her team work wonders! HIGHLY recommend. I plan on flying back to Newport for hair color with Jennie (and I live in FL)!

The Jennie Kay Beauty Team was truly incredible on my wedding day and made my bridal party and I look so beautiful. From coordinating the trial and putting together the day of schedule for 8 people, Erin helped make everything a breeze. Shelby, who did my makeup and hair, is so incredibly talented and made me feel at ease throughout the entire morning! Working with Jenny Kay was one of the best choices I could have made for myself, and my bridal party!! I had 8 bridesmaids, two moms and myself that needed to get hair and make up done on for the wedding day (Friday October 7th). Jenny and her team went above and beyond to make sure we all looked amazing, and beautiful. I met Jenny in July for my hair and make up trial, and it was absolutely wonderful meeting her and the rest of the team in advance to see what would look best on the day of the wedding! Working with Jenny felt like hanging out with a close friend, I loved how personable she was and I loved chatting with her about whatever came to mind :) She is very intuitive on how people feel around her while she is working. On my wedding day I had a case of the jitters and she immediately picked up on it and helped distract me. Besides her glowing personality, is her glowing talent. She is a true artist through and through, I have nothing but wonderful things to say about her and the rest of the Jenny Kay team. Thank you for making me feel absolutely stunning on my wedding day, you are truly the best!

I cannot say enough amazing things about Jennie Kay!! I hired them to do my hair, 4 bridesmaids, and 2 moms. They were outstanding. Everyone's hair was perfect, and mine was unbelievable! I had gone for a trial with Jess, and she was so talented and nice- I showed her my inspiration and my headpiece, and she did something even more beautiful than I could find on pinterest- exactly what I wanted! Their studio is so cute as well. She really did an amazing job, working with hair extensions as well, and my curls held all night long! Thank you Jess, for making my wedding day dream a reality, and Courtney, for making my bridesmaids goddesses!

Jennie is the very best! I am beyond thrilled I booked her and her team for my wedding. I think she is fantastic for two (among many) reasons: 1. At our trial, she looked at my face, hair, preferred style, and came up with a gorgeous and very flattering up-do. Despite wanting a higher bun, she explained why a lower bun worked better with the way my hair fell. Similarly, I initially wanted heavier eye makeup, and she pointed out that I have deep set eyes and would look my best with less eye makeup. She was right! I really appreciated that she took the time to think about what would truly look best and flatter me the most, even if it differed from any photos or ideas I previously had. She was also very helpful regarding input on jewelry for the neckline of the dress. 2. Jennie was such a happy and calming presence on the day of the wedding. She took great care with both the hair and makeup, and stayed with me through dinner time, not only touching me up, but was always there to hold my bouquet or offer a glass of water during photographs. Her kindness and enthusiasm were so hugely appreciated and I could not possibly recommend her more. Any bride would be lucky to have her! Thank you Jennie!!

Jennie is AMAZING! She made me feel/look like a celebrity! She was very professional and also felt like one of my bridesmaids...she was so much fun to work with and she kept me calm and looking my best the whole day! My hair and makeup was stunning and I could not have asked for anything better! Thank you Jennie!

I absolutely loved working with the ladies at Jennie Kay Beauty. Stephanie is fantastic and really made the entire process smooth and easy for me. She answered all of my questions and organized every detail perfectly. She also gave me great suggestions for places to order coffee/lunch in the area for my bridal party. Shelby did my hair and make-up and absolutely exceeded my expectations. On the day of my wedding there were a few things that I wanted done differently with my hair and make-up. All I had to do was describe it to her and on the first try it was perfect. I looked at wedding hair styles for a long time and never really found a picture that I loved, but she managed to make my hair look better than I could have even imagined. My make-up was perfect as well- exactly what I envisioned. I looked like myself, but the best version of myself that I could have hoped for! All of my bridesmaids and my mom were so happy with their hair and make-up, and did they ever look BEAUTIFUL!!! My flower girl's hair was even done perfectly! On the morning of the wedding all of the stylists came and then followed the schedule to a tee (we were done right on time- when does that ever happen?!), but they were never rushed and gave everyone the time and attention they needed. The team at Jennie Kay is really exceptional and I am so glad that we had them for our wedding!!

Jennie Kay's team came to the Marriott in Newport, arriving on time, and doing hair and makeup for the bridal party and mothers of the bride and groom. Everyone was pleased and the photographs showed us glowing. Jennie Kay's team kept to their schedule and we all were ready on time for formal photos.

If I could give her more than 5 stars I would! I was so worried about missing my trial and not having a chance to play around with a style before the wedding. But Jennie was AWESOME! She is a perfectionist with hair and makeup, and every piece was perfectly placed. She also did an amazing job with airbrush makeup. Usually I end up finding something to tweak a little with my hair and makeup, but I was an awe with Jennie's work. My bridesmaids also loved all their hairstyles, and my aunt loved her and Erica's work so much we were able to squeeze her in for hair and makeup too. She also has a little salon in Middletown, which worked out great since it would have been too cramped to all get ready at the hotel. I couldn't have been happier with choosing Jennie, and I would highly recommend her to any bride!

I can not begin to explain how remarkable Jennie and her team are. Jennie and her team did the hair and makeup for myself, my mother and 3 members of my bridal party. She was so professional and was so accommodating when I needed a last minute hair and makeup trial. She made the day of the wedding so easy because she came to our location to get us ready. The compliments on my hair and makeup were endless throughout the entire day and night. Jennie made me feel the most beautiful I have ever felt in my life and it took my husbands breath away when i turned the corner to walk down the aisle. She is truly talented, so sweet and beyond amazing at what she does. We were so lucky to be able to have her work with us on our wedding day!! Jennie Kay is an amazing makeup artist, and she did a phenomenal job on me and my bridesmaids. She did my makeup based on a photo I liked of makeup I'd done myself, and she made me look like the most gorgeous version of me possible. I don't wear much makeup, so for her to be able to put on fake eyelashes and have me not freak out is pretty amazing in and of itself. The airbrush makeup she did lasted all day and night (~12 hours from application 'til the end of our reception on a humid, rainy day and everything but my lip gloss was still going strong), and she did just as fantastic a job on my bridesmaids' and mom's makeup as she did on mine. Jennie Kay took everyone's individual style and preferences into account, and she even styled my mom's short, curly hair to her liking (again, on a humid day)! Jennie Kay's not cheap, but her prices are really reasonable for professional makeup/hair styling. I never pay for stuff like that, but on my wedding day, I figured I could splurge, and I'm so, so glad I did. Jennie Kay was extremely professional and accommodating--despite just having had a baby she was still quite responsive to my emails! She was also fun to be around the morning of my wedding, could not have asked for a better experience!

Jennie Kay and her cousin did all the hair and makeup for my wedding. We had 11 girls getting their hair done and one makeup application. The girls worked quickly and created beautiful hair designs. All my bridesmaids, MOH, MOB, and MOG were happy with their hair. Jennie Kay did a fabulous job on my hair, too. I got compliments on it all night. We did a make up trial and she made the slight adjustments I suggested on our big day. Very easy to work with, very sweet, very talented.

We had Jennie-Kay and her sister Christie do hair and make up for all the girls in the wedding and the two moms. They were professional and relaxed. They had perfect dispositions for a hectic wedding day. The make up and hair looked beautiful on all the girls and everyone looked great in pictures. Jennie even had my photographer take a few pictures of me before she finished touching me up so she could see what it looked like on camera. I have very dark circles under my eyes that always show up and they aren't even noticeable in most of the pictures. I couldn't have been happier!

JENNIE is so incredibly talented. She did both my hair and make up for the wedding and I was SOOOO please with the end result. She has done so much work and is so easy to talk to which makes you feel comfortable when you are in her chair. She is priced so reasonably and for her work she could charge so much more. she is amazing!
