From the first meeting, we found Jennie thoughtful in her approach, gathering wedding details and vision information from the bride and sharing some of her own creative ideas - we knew instantly we were teaming with the right person. As we went along in the planning process, Jennie touched base often, participated in meetings with our planner to keep abreast of wedding details, and even made "above and beyond" trips to the wedding and reception venue sites to map out the best locations for pictures.
On the big day, Jennie did an unbelievable job capturing the planned and candid moments of the day. The pictures are incredible!

Before the wedding I shared with her a few photos I wanted to try to capture during our wedding day and she helped me with our timeline to ensure we got what we wanted. I was very concerned about the timeline day of wedding an Jennie did a beautiful job keeping us on schedule and moving us through the day, while capturing every moment. Right after our first meeting, I thought to myself that I can't pull off the wedding of my dreams without Jennie. She was the first vendor we chose and everything else fell into place after that, in large part because she gave us so many helpful recommendations. I knew that the photos she took would be beautiful but what I came to find out was how good of a person she is.
We did our engagement photo session (highly recommend having Jennie take your engagement photos!) at the Cherry Blossoms and Jennie could not be more accommodating. We had to switch the date several times to ensure good weather and when it came time to do our engagement photo session, my husband and I had the best time with Jennie! She is so so easy to work with and makes sure everything feels completely natural. Leading up to the wedding, Jennie helped me so much with creating a timeline as I did not work with a planner. She is so patient and kind - truly one of my favorite people I've ever met!
On the wedding day, Jennie and her assistant Josh were complete rockstars - so calm, cool, and collected - on a day that can be anything but. Our photos are breathtaking and she totally captured our essence and the feeling of our wedding day. Hiring Jennie is the BEST decision you will make when wedding planning. Everyone will be wowed by her gorgeous work, her utmost professionalism and her kind heart. You are so lucky if you get to work with Jennie!! We now consider Jennie a friend for life.

nervous to do, but she made it fun and easy!) to the day of, she was perfection. Her pictures are the epitome of dreamy and romantic and I find myself referring back to them daily. The biggest question I've gotten since the wedding is "Who was your photographer?? The pictures are amazing!" But more than just her photos, Jennie is amazing. She is fun and kind and professional and flexible (she worked with us through a venue change and controlling a 100 pound puppy!) and I am grateful to now call her a friend. being published; Jennie was able to deliver the outdoor, sunlit, airy photos as seen in magazines. It’s hard to find a photographer see who shoots so well on film (her film gives you a light, natural filter for a beautiful bridal face) and digital.
Not only does Jenny have talent. She is a very kind, positive person, trustworthy and a joy to be around during the stressful wedding season. Even for the most demanding and hands on bride like myself, Jenny met the challenge with ease. She is a true value at her price point. She’s fair priced, doesn’t pressure you to spend more and worked with my custom requests and budget. I do suggest all brides get a second photographer in their packages and a designated bridesmaid to always check hair and make-up during photos.
You must meet with Jenny if you are looking at photographers and like her style. There are other talented photographers, but none as kind and easy to be around on the big day. She makes you forget she’s there. She even put my husband at ease. If you want a bossy photographer this is not the right fit. I absolute love my photos! Enjoy planning your big day.

She understood what we were looking for and executed it perfectly. Jennie used both film and digital cameras, so we had the best of both worlds. utilized a creative approach (my wife and I wrote each other notes), maximized our location (Washington, DC), and most importantly, took knockout photos! The photos she's taken are amazing - colorful, dynamic, expressive, and emotive! They captured us and did it perfectly. Some photographers have a big ego, Jennie does not. She wants you, the client, to be comfortable, and the fruit of that ease is authentic and honest photography reflective of your life and relationships. Jennie took my favorite photos of myself and my wife. Recently, she took the best family photos our family has ever taken, including my favorite photo ever with my nieces and nephew. Seriously. She's that good.
