WOW. I don't even know how to put my gratitude for Jennifer into words. My husband and I just got married over the weekend and have talked endlessly since about how hiring Jennifer was the single best decision we could have made for our wedding weekend. Our wedding was executed exactly how we had envisioned and there wasn't a single moment of stress or concern throughout, it's obvious to me that Jennifer and her team were 100% to thank for this. They took the weight off of our, our parents and our wedding parties shoulders and allowed us all to just enjoy the weekend while they did their magic. I will be recommending her to absolutely anyone and everyone.
Jennifer and her team were absolutely critical to the success of our daughter’s wedding. Her experience with set-up, vendors, crisis management, communication, and organization is second to none. She handled every detail and situation in exactly the right way so that we could enjoy the day and not have to worry. Her “rules” for the bridal party were perfect. We also were very impressed with Jennifer’s entire team of folks as they helped with set-up and tear-down at the venue. They all went above and beyond what was expected. We simply cannot say enough about Jennifer’s attention to every detail from pre planning meetings to the end of the night clean-up.
We could not have asked for a better day of coordinator for our wedding! Jen and her team were amazing to work with. She kept the entire day positive and was always there for us — even if we needed a drink! I would recommend her to any bride looking for some help day-of.
She also picked up all of our decor and set it up perfectly. We couldn’t have done the day without her!
Jen and her team were an absolute pleasure to work with! I initially went into our wedding planning thinking I would be able to do it all, but then I realized I did not want the have to be the one to put out the little fires on the day of the wedding. We enlisted Jen’s services for day of coordination, and it was 1000% worth it. Jen and her team were incredibly organized and obviously detail-oriented, but also so creative! They took my rough ideas (decorations I liked but weren’t sure what to do with) and incorporated them so beautifully into our venue. Jen was able to run through the ceremony at our rehearsal dinner and was able to keep all our friends and family in line to listen to her directions. She and her team took over vendor contact in the weeks leading up to the wedding, and I did not have to worry about handling anything. One of the team members even brought me a plate of snacks and water while I was taking a few minutes to myself in the bridal suite. One of the biggest benefits to having Jen and her team was having them to assist in setup and teardown of decorations, and they packed it up into my parent’s cars to make as easy as possible for us. You can’t go wrong hiring Jen and her team. They will work to make your day as easy and smooth as possible, which is a worthwhile investment!
I can't say enough good things about Jennifer Alexa Event Planning. I could never have created such a perfect day without the help of Jen and Kyle. They were patient with me, as I am not a planner and do not enjoy the details of planning an event such as a wedding. But they helped every step of the day, making the process so easy and stress-free. They recommended vendors and every single vendor chosen from their recommendation was a perfect choice. The day was magical because of all they did to make sure it was. I will forever recommend them to anyone as long as they are around :)
We hired Jennifer Alexa Events only about 3 weeks before our wedding for the day-of wedding coordinator package. And if you’re reading this thinking that you don’t need one, or that you can do it yourself, or maybe that you have previous event planning experience and don’t need the extra help (*cough, cough* *me*)… I urge you to read on!
I really did think I could do it all! But when I found out about 3 weeks prior to the wedding that we couldn’t get into the venue to set up the day before and would have to be out by midnight the night of… that changed. Because I had to like… you know… get married and what not! We hired Jennifer Alexa Events and from that first conversation with Jen and Kyle on, everything became more enjoyable. The last-minute stress I was feeling melted away. They took care of SO MANY THINGS. Things that I didn’t even know were things I had to think about! They even attended the rehearsal so that the ceremony was flawless, printed programs, set up for the wedding, took everything down at the end of the night, and packed it all up. We didn't have to lift a finger!
Day-of, we were actually able to ENJOY the wedding instead of just feeling like it was a big ball of stress. I honestly don't know how we would have done it without them. We are beyond grateful. From the tiniest detail to the big things... the day was PERFECT! (And how many brides can truly say their wedding day was perfect?! We owe it all to Jen and Kyle!) We will NEVER forget their generosity, professionalism, and kindness. We call Jen and Kyle our wedding angels! Truly truly truly THANK YOU for making our dream wedding possible!!! This review is long overdue! After our wedding shower this past summer, I knew we needed some help coordinating our wedding day. When I initially began looking for a day of coordinator/planner, I listed out a couple in the area and first met with Jennifer and Kyle. I’ll be honest, that meeting is all I needed. While I didn’t know exactly what to ask or what I was doing really, I was sold. I knew we needed them to be part of our day.
Jennifer and Kyle kept in constant communication with us throughout the end of the planning process. They made my life incredibly less stressful by coordinating all of the vendors with the venue, pick up of décor/other items, and decorating the ceremony and reception site. We met over the phone a few times to make sure vendors/timelines lined up and we were ultimately getting what we wanted.
Day of was so great. The team arrived early to begin set up of the décor. I tried providing photos of what I was thinking, and they executed that – especially the beautiful fireplace décor! Set up was quick and tear down was even quicker. Everything was put back into the bins I provided and placed inside various vehicles.
Honestly, Jennifer and her team went above and beyond to make our day seamless. I am confident that our day would not have gone as well as it did, if we didn’t have them there. Everything Jennifer Alexa Events provided was more than what we could have asked for. We couldn’t be more thankful!
We hired Jennifer Alexa events to help plan our wedding. Hands down, this was one of the best decisions we made for the whole wedding. They did a phenomenal job and I would recommend them for any event.
Specifically, we worked with Kyle and Jen, both of whom consistently went above and beyond. They are both obviously expert event planners and highly detail-oriented. This was especially appreciated in our case as my wife and myself lived apart, with neither of us in Cleveland. Having Jen and Kyle to help focus our attention and keep us on track was key to getting our event organized.
Day of, the whole event planning crew was great. They kept everything on track. Jennifer Alexa Event Planning was worth every penny to not have to worry about the day-of coordination of vendors, family, etc.

Our DJ team first had the pleasure of working with the Jennifer Alexa team for a wedding in September of 2019. From the first meeting we could tell they would help make things so much easier for us. Throughout the entire planning process communication was open and clear, and they helped us make the day of the wedding run so smoothly. I hired Jen and her staff for day of service for our wedding. Throughout the entire process they were nothing short of perfect. Jen, Kyle, and team were so amazing to work with! We had a very difficult DJ and venue and I was very apprehensive as to how the day would go. We hired Jen as our day-of coordinator and she instantly made us feel so comfortable and calm! Her attention to detail that showed even during our first meeting put us as ease. They handle everything perfectly and our day went swimmingly! I could have not asked for a better coordination team!
We chose a reception venue that had very difficult Management, which added even more stress to planning our wedding. Midway through the planning process, a friend referred us to Jennifer Alexa Event Planning, and it was hands down the best money we spent! Jennifer and her team managed our venue personnel, and took the stress out of my hands. They asked all the right questions (that I hadn't even thought of), and made the day of really worry free, and absolutely beautiful and just like I imagined. I would highly recommend Jennifer Alexa Event Planning - my sister will be using them when she gets married!
If you are even debating hiring Jen and her team, do it! They did an AMAZING job setting up our venue. They handled every little detail and also never let me have an empty drink in my hand! I could not have asked for a more perfect day. They helped the day run so smoothly and even went above and beyond to pick up things we had forgotten about. We hired her for the day of coordinator and she was SO MUCH more then that. I’m so thankful for Jen and her team!
Jen was our day of coordinator for our wedding and she helped make it absolutely perfect. She worked to coordinate and ensure everything with the vendors was taken care of so my wife and I did not need to stress about any sort of set-up, take down, or everything else. She also helped guide our guests from venue to venue and took care of details we had not totally considered, like how to most effectively get people to move from the cocktail hour to the sit down dinner while we had family photos being taken,
What stuck out most to me was the care and consideration she had with us the entire time. She understood how important the day was for us and our families and the importance of taking all of the stress off from us. The only thing my wife and I had to be worried about on our wedding day was enjoying and cherishing the moment, Jen took care of everything else and helped make it perfect.
Jennifer Alexa Event Planning was the best decision we made for our wedding planning! Jen was so passionate and could not have been more helpful through the process! She had wonderful ideas though was low pressure and went above and beyond every step of the way! She made sure to remind us it was our day and did everything she could to make it perfect and exactly how we wanted it. Jen and her team were prompt, professional, and creative. I hired Jen as a DOC and she and Kyle were essential in keeping me sane leading up to the wedding! They responded promptly in the weeks leading up to the big day and were flexible in scheduling the venue tour and pick-up/drop-offs for all of the stuff they transported to the venue. At the rehearsal, they passed out detailed itineraries and my brother commented that he had been to conferences that were less organized. In addition to being organized, professional, and so helpful, they both bring a great positive energy! Having their smiling, calm faces reassure me that everything would work out really helped calm my nerves. I would recommend Jennifer Alexa Events to anyone who wants a stress-free wedding!
My now husband & I used Jennifer Alexa Event Planning to plan our wedding on 10/26/19, Jen & Kyle were AMAZING! They took care of everything for us! From wedding set up/take down, cleaning my wedding dress when it got stained, & setup vendor meetings, they were just wonderful & we can't rave enough about them!
Jen and Kyle are AWESOME!! Hands down the best decision I made during the wedding planning process was hiring Jen to help plan and orchestrate our wedding! Well worth the cost and then some!! She is very detail-oriented which I truly appreciated. She helped my mom and I figure out what we needed and didn't need and she valued our budget and time constraints for meetings and overall cost. As a bride who didn't enjoy the multitude of choices of vendors, it was a saving grace to have Jen filter options and present us with vendor possibilities based on quality and cost (keeping our budget in mind). Even though our wedding vision was constantly evolving she knew how to help us navigate the process. Our wedding was easily the most magical day of our lives and we have Jen to thank for helping the vision evolve and eventually become a reality. She served as a friend, confidant, lawyer (meticulously reading and negotiating our contracts with vendors), advocate, and amazing planner!!! Don't overlook the fact that she is bubbly, personable, and at the end of the day there to make sure your vision unfolds exactly as you want.
Kyle is a talented designer and our printed materials were affordable and exactly what I envisioned without me actually knowing it!!! A great team to have on your side! Even when the wedding was over, an issue came up 2 days later, Jen and Kyle stepped in to solve the problem and I cannot thank them enough for their hard work, talents, and for being such wonderful people :)
Jen and her staff helped plan my daughters birthday party with over 80 attendees . They were flawless and made the day so enjoyable for everyone . We received so many great comments and the attention to detail was amazing. From arranging the princess surprise, to the fine details of the different play stations for the kids , everything operated so smoothly . Thanks again!!!!

Jen and her team were absolutely amazing! I cannot say enough nice things about them. Simply put: Jen and her team are phenomenal. Our wedding ceremony and reception were at the same venue and we also chose to get ready in the bridal suite that morning as well. Jen and her team showed up bright and early (7:00 AM) in order to setup gifts for my bridesmaids before they arrived at the venue. Our ceremony was at 4:30 so you would think that the 9.5 hours in between that time was not necessary for the entire team to stay and work. Let me tell you, the entire team stayed busy every minute before the wedding making sure that our day was perfect. And the day was beyond perfect! Jen ran out to Target in the morning to get a few things that the bridesmaids forgot, stopped at Starbucks to pick up additional breakfast options for the girls who had dietary restrictions and had her other team members back at the venue greeting our outside vendors making sure that everything was in order. Jen was amazing at keeping us on schedule but not making us feel rushed if we were behind or stressed about needing to get ready for the first dance, bustle my dress, take additional pictures outside, etc. Jen coordinated the day perfectly and we are so thankful that she was there with us.
Our wedding was September 2nd! My husband and I planned our entire wedding and wanted to have someone there to oversee the day and make sure everything went as planned. That is how I found Jen, Kyle, and her team. When I initially met with Jen, I instantly got a good feeling about her. I felt like she would command the day and my wedding was safe with her. I was right. Even though I hired Jen to be a "day-of-coordinator", she was so helpful leading up to the big day! A few months before my wedding, we had issues with my photographer/videographer and ended up having to find a new one. Jen sent us a list of reputable photographers and videographers shortly after, and we couldn't be happier with our new choices.
Jen also provided an itinerary, coordinated with all vendors the weeks leading up, and helped to make sure I knew nothing of what went wrong that day. Please book Jen for your wedding day, I promise you will not be disappointed!
My husband and I wanted to plan our wedding ourselves. We picked the sites, the food, the flowers, all of the main pieces and thought that maybe it would be nice to have someone to be Manager on the day of the wedding. Best decision ever. While JenniferAlexa offers much more, we told Jen we'd only need assistance on the wedding day. She agreed to help us out, but told us that she'd do more on her end to make sure she felt prepared for our day. She checked in on our progress, she helped set the itinerary and timelines. On rehearsal day, she and the team set up the decor and then coached us all thru the ceremony. She had all the tips and detail points that we would've missed on our own. On our wedding day, we felt such a sense of ease, knowing that Jen had it under control. It all went so smoothly. After the ceremony, Jen was ready to efficiently and expediently facilitate pictures with a very large family to get all shots within a short photography window; our photographer got a free assistant with Jen running the show. The coordination with food vendors, bartenders, and a deluge of family questions were all expertly handled by Jen and her team. We were impressed by how intuitive she was with anticipating every need. On multiple occasions her staff appeared almost as soon as a need or want had entered our minds. Hands down, this was the best money we spent on the wedding. They were pleasant, efficient, proficient, professional, and just an all around wonderful team. From our initial meeting, we felt exponentially more able to feel excited about our wedding day, knowing that we could entrust them to coordinate people and details so that we could relax and enjoy the best day of lives. From the bottom of our hearts (which are very full, as we write this review mere days after our wedding), we thank the staff of JenniferAlexa for helping us have our perfect day.
The best moments of your wedding are sure to come to life with Jen. For full disclosure, Jen is my best friend, was my matron of honor, and I explicitly told her to not work during the wedding. I should've known better.

To put it simply, my wedding was exactly what I wanted. Friends and family came from across the country to Chicago on the hottest day in June to have a great time, and Jen was 100% a HUGE part of making that happen. From the organization of vendors to figuring out a crazy situation with an uncounted for +1 guest, every detail was covered. (And an extra shout out to her husband, Justin, who is a SAINT!) I severely underestimated what all goes into planning a wedding and all those little apps and spreadsheets just don't cut it. Also, don't stress out about tablecloths.
I'm mainly writing this because everyone needs a Jen in their life- supremely joyful, optimistic, whip smart, outgoing, and a powerhouse of a lawyer as well. When you meet her, you'll get it. The reviews below and on other sites will tell you the same story- if you're getting married, hosting an event, or just simply throwing an amazing 4th birthday party, you'll definitely want Jennifer Alexa Event Planning to be on your team.
Where do I start? Jennifer and her team made the whole wedding planning process pleasant and less stressful. From the first time I met her and Kyle... I knew I needed them to pull off the perfect wedding. I called my fiance and said, I NEED to book her. It was the best decision I made during this planning process. I work a lot of hours and Jen and her team made sure I stayed on track. They communicate extremely well and made sure I was always ahead of schedule. With work being extremely stressful, they understood I had no room for additional stress. Not only was my wedding a huge success, but I never felt overwhelmed during the process.
We had an ice cream bar at our wedding-- specifically for my husband. He is an ice cream junkie! Unfortunately, we didn't know that the ice cream was out because we were busy talking to our guests. Jen made sure to get a bowl of each flavor and set it aside for my husband. We were so grateful. She also made sure to find more bottles of Makers 46 for my Dad. She took care of every detail and hiccup without me even realizing they existed.
We used them for partial planning and it was worth every dime. The day of, I honestly don't know what I would have done with out her and her team. A month after my wedding and she still checks in to make sure I am taken care of by my vendors.
Jen and her team are worth every dollar and then some. My wedding wouldn't have been the same without them. Not only did we build a great professional relationship, but we built a friendship too!
I have no idea how we would’ve been able to pull off my wedding with out Jen and her team! They were absolutely amazing and made our day perfect. Jen even had schedules for every member of our bridal party for the rehearsal and the day of the wedding. I had zero stress the day of my wedding and was able to enjoy it because Jen handled everything!
Everything was perfect. simply perfect! Jen was amazing and helped me with everything. My Dj ditched me at the last moment and sent me into a straight panic. Jen had 3 back ups ready in moments. do yourself a favor and hire jen.
i really thought i could do it all on my own, my fiance (now husband) watched me slowly losing my mind and it started to impact our relationship. thats when we started looking for a planner. God sent us Jen and i dont mean that lightly. She and her team were amazing. I was skeptical at first. Im very type A and wanted control over everything. I still did but with Jen and her amazing team at my side. I had a fairly large wedding so jen said she was going to have "all hands on deck". She, kyle, tori and Sam made everything happen. they transformed a simple hall into the reception of my dreams. i cant thank them all enough. they even packed my moms and dads car at the end of the night!! They say that your wedding is one of the best days in your life. There a only a handful of people who can help you achieve a spectacular day that will remain with you and set the tone for your life ahead of you. Thanks to the wonderful staff of Jennifer Alexa Event planning, my wife and recieved the magical day that we looked forward to since she said I do. The coordinators were friendly and attentive, the venue was well organized and all of our guests had a fun time.
Jennifer made my daughters wedding one of the easiest, most stress free days of my life. They used her for full planning. Her and Kyle were there for everything. Jen and Kyle were amazing for our wedding. We couldn't have done it without them as we were planning our wedding from a different city. They made everything a smooth transition. They never once judged us for our ideas or thoughts on our wedding and always encouraged my husband and I to make it everything we want to be. I had a dog theme wedding and they were more than encouraging and Kyle even did a fantastic job with all of the signage for the wedding and he got really creative and brought our vision to life for our big day. I can't thank them enough for all they did as my wedding would not have been all that I dreamed of it wasn't for their constant support and help throughout the entire process.

My daughter's wedding was just this weekend, and speaking as the mother of the bride, Jennifer was worth her weight in gold. My daughter's wedding went off seamlessly, much in part to Jennifer's detailed planning and execution. Much of her charges were earned back in savings she was able gain from vendors and I cannot explain how much more relaxed and stress-free the whole event was for me having the confidence that she was handling all of the details. She was an absolute pleasure to work with and her whole team made our event everything we hoped it would be. I would recommend her without reservation!
Let's just talk for a minute about Jen. I would have a horrible wedding if it weren't for her. The month before my wedding, my work schedule was terrible and I couldn't accomplish anything.
Enter Jen and her team. First of all, we got weekly emails reminding of what was left on our to-do list. Crucial.
Then, she took over about 4 weeks before the wedding. She was the point of contact for ALL of my vendors. She literally told them everything they needed to go (all the silly details that I wouldn't even think of) and she made this MASSIVE day-of itinerary. The pages calmed my anxiety. Because she thought of EVERYTHING.
But it wasn't just what she did, it's how she did it. She was kind, thoughtful , and a hoot!
The day of, her team swooped in on the day in the best way possible. They made sure the boys were getting dressed and on time. They picked up a birthday cake for me (my friend's 30th and I wanted to have a cake on her table). They helped us get to the church, and cocktail hour on time. Kyle and Jen helped everyone in my life be pulled together for that day.
I had hired Jen for Day-of Coordination, but she did so much more. And honestly, I would have paid her double.
It was so wonderful working with Jen and her team. I felt supported through the entire planning process!

From our first meeting I knew that Jen would be perfect for our wedding and I was right! Jen, Assistant Kyle & her staff did a FANTASTIC job bringing our wedding day vision to life! Our venue, a park pavilion looked even better than I had imagined it would! She was there for us each step of the way and so organized that on the day of our wedding, we had nothing to do or worry about but enjoying our day. With Jen getting through family photos was a breeze, even our Photographer was impressed on how she got everyone to do their part in getting the pictures taken that we were a head of schedule! My mother remarked that she was so happy with Jen and her staff that she was able to kick back and relax right away and did not have to worry about anything but visiting with all our guests. It was a perfect day thanks to Jen and company!
I would not have survived my wedding planning without having Jen Wilson by my side. She went above and beyond for my husband and I many times over. Jennifer and Alexa were absolutely amazing and helped us with everything we never knew we needed! We booked Jennifer and Alexa's hourly consulting services and day of wedding planning services. I had a very hesitant groom and by the week of the wedding he was telling me "best money we spent - we could not have done this without Jennifer and Alexa".
For their consulting services, we met with them after we already had a lot of the big things booked (photographer, dj, venue, etc..) and with sites like Pintrest, I started to get very overwhelmed with all the ideas for decor, paper, linens, logistics, etc.. and 1 meeting they helped me to hone in on my vision, gave great suggestions, and brought up important things that we had not even thought about/considered yet! With such great taste and creativity (especially with Alexa's interior design background) -they truly helped bring my vision to life and we're absolutely incredible with any follow up questions and concerns we had on anything!
For the Day-Of Coordination, they were fabulous! Very professional, friendly, but direct when we needed them to be, and so great to work with! They were truly looking out for us on our day and made sure that us, our friends, and family were able to enjoy it - which we are beyond grateful for because the day goes by so fast! Anything that we needed - they stepped up to do and help with- decor, bridesmaid dresses, making sure vendors got payments/tip, table set up, hanging our marquee lights, etc. They day of timeline alone was amazing - they helped to pull an entire schedule for the weekend and got it into the hands of all of our vendors and personally reached out to each one to make sure they had what they needed and knew where they needed to be when!

Jen was our coordinator for our August 2015 wedding. SHE WAS AMAZING. I thought I had pretty much figured it out, I knew what I wanted. I was wrong, Jen helped SO much, I am so glad she was there, she not only had everything you could ever need in case of a mishap, she gets all the details. There is no way I would have been able to get people where they needed to be, while paying vendors, while being a bride. She was wonderful, there when you needed her but gave space so she wasn't hounding. In fact, my brother in law's car was damaged by the hotel valet and Jen (who is a lawyer) was able to help out with the situation. While that could really ruin someone's day, Jen stepped in and helped figure it all out! Jen and Justin were so helpful, I would recommend her to anyone!
Using Jennifer Alexa Event Planning was the best decision we ever made in planning our wedding. I still can't even wrap my head around all the work they put into our big day. From ironing tablecloths (ALL NIGHT) to setting up food tastings to being a friend to vent with to reccomending vendors and even making sure that I ate breakfast the day of- they were lifesavers! If something isn't perfect or exactly how you want it they will literally MAKE it perfect. Also, the fact that Jen is a practicing lawyer (yep! I told you they were awesome!) totally helps. She looks over every detail of every contract with every vendor. These wedding planners ask the questions you wouldnt even think to ask to make sure eveything goes smoothly. When I started planning our wedding I didnt even consider or think that I needed a wedding planner and now looking back I have no idea what we would have done without them. I became so overwhelmed with all the details and was completely stressed until I let Jenifer and Alexa step in and take over. They do all the busy work and take a huge weight off your shoulders so that the bride can actually enjoy her wedding. They are considerate, professional, and so protective of their brides. These girls did everything in their power to make sure the wedding was exactly what WE (the bride and groom) had dreamed our big day would be and more (because there can be a lot of opinions floating around!). These wedding planners are a must-have! They were high energy, always on top of things and what they do for you is priceless! I cant thank them enough.
