I was fortunate enough to do an internship five years ago at a winery in Sonoma County where I met Jennifer. Working with Jennifer behind the scenes introduced me to her style, her professionalism, attention to detail, and overall amazingness! I knew from that time that when I got married I would want Jennifer to be my photographer. Ever since then I have been following her on Instagram, which just solidified that I loved everything she did! Fast forward to being engaged and planning our wedding. I immediately reached out to Jennifer. My fiance and I met with her and it just felt like seeing an old friend. We started talking about everything in our lives and it just felt right. When we talked about the wedding, she was very organic in describing her style and how she approaches weddings. My fiance doesn’t enjoy getting his picture taken and he really appreciated how honest and straightforward Jenn was about her style. Doing our engagement photos with Jenn in August was so much fun! She has such a great sense of humor and has an approach that doesn’t make you feel that you’re being photographed. She just wants you both to just be yourselves and she is there to capture your love! Once we got our engagement photos back, it made me even more excited for the wedding! We were met with a hiccup leading up to the wedding. The Tubbs fire in October unfortunately destroyed our original venue. During this time, not only did Jennifer reach out and check to see how we were doing but also to give us recommendations of other venues to reach out to. Working with Jenn and her assistant Melissa leading up to the wedding was seamless. Their checklists and “must have” photo lists were so helpful and really helped to streamline our planning process and streamline our thoughts in regards to what photos we wanted. There were some family drama issues which made me nervous for the family photos, but Jenn was so quick and efficient that nobody in the family had time to blink because there were so many moving parts for the family photos! Jenn is just fabulous. We opted to complete all of our pictures before the ceremony, but there was a small hiccup with the timeline for our pictures before the ceremony. We ended up starting 30 minutes behind schedule but due to Jenn’s quick and efficient style, her experience, and expertise, we ended up 5 minutes ahead of schedule! After the wedding, we were waiting on pins & needles waiting for the email to say our pictures are ready. Wow it was worth the wait (although the wait wasn’t that long at all!) Our package said to expect the photos within 8 weeks but we got them in 5! We cannot stop looking at the pictures!! I want them all printed and scattered around my house! Jenn’s style is so flawless and just simple and gorgeous that she uses that beauty of the venue and the people to influence her pictures. We will be using Jenn for any pictures we will take! Jenn is one of the best wedding vendors you will hire! Your wedding photos are arguably one of the most important elements of your wedding as they capture all of the moments and memories of the day that you will have forever. Jenn is not only an incredibly talented photographer when it comes to natural light, but she is so much more. On our wedding, Jenn really went out of her way to make sure everything was running smoothly/on time and to make sure that we were happy. Above all else, you can tell she really cares about her work and her clients, which made us feel at ease. Jenn is fun and is so talented - she captured the moments, feelings, emotions of our day more than we can put into words and we are so grateful that we were led to Jenn.

The answer is YES- you should hire Jenn! I don't even know where to begin with why/how she is amazing... when we hired Jenn for our wedding/engagement shoot, she said "you're family now," and throughout the process, I have never felt otherwise. She's been incredibly responsive, even when my questions were not always photography-related. She's hilarious and charismatic, and knows how to work with clients/families of alllll different personality types. She's professional and efficient and gets the job done effortlessly, all with a smile on her face. As many other clients have posted here, there are simply just not enough kind words I can say about Jenn. She was an absolute pleasure to work with every second of the way. As far as vendors go, she was definitely our MVP! I can't even imagine how or wedding day would have gone without her. Jenn Bagwell is THE BEST.

Jennifer Bagwell was the single most important vendor that we could have hired for our wedding. In addition to being an amazingly talented photographer with the most beautiful and highest quality images, she was also part wedding planner, timekeeper and a key member of our support system during our wedding day. From day one, Jenn was easy to talk to – she understood exactly what we were looking for in a photographer and through talking with her and reading her reviews, I knew that she would be much more than that. She made our engagement session and wedding day so fun, with natural “poses” that made both myself and my husband (who hates taking pictures) look like our normal, silly selves. She knows how to work with sticky family dynamics and make the picture-taking process seamless. She captured every picture that I could have wanted and more. There will never be a time when I feel like I've said enough good things about Jenn. She was the BEST person we worked with during our wedding planning and day of experience. I happened to visit a venue that handed out her flier and after I had an initial conversation with her I knew she was the right fit. She was so natural and fun. I immediately felt comfortable and almost as if we had know each other for years. I knew my fiance (at the time) and I would be a little uncomfortable with posed pictures so I wanted someone that I could be honest with and they would be honest back. From the start of our engagement session she made it so much fun! Her creative eye is impeccable. We told her we wanted to stay in San Francisco for the shoot and she not only picked some iconic locations but timed the lighting perfectly. Our family and friends raved over our engagement pictures and it got us even more excited for the results of our wedding photos. Between our engagement photos and wedding I did a boudoir photo shoot with Jenn. The package came with hair, makeup and the hotel location. Nervous was an understatement. When I got there she warmly welcomed me, had fun music playing and made it a girls day out! I laughed the whole time and LOVED the results. My, now husband, loved them too ;). If you are thinking about doing one of these shoots...do it with Jenn...you will NOT regret it, you'll just want to do it again! Our wedding day was incredible and I had no doubt that Jenn was capturing the special moments throughout. My bridesmaids were obsessed with Jenn. They loved her posing advice. She was efficient but thorough, which was awesome because, believe me, I wanted all the shots but I also wanted to enjoy the day and Jenn balanced that flawlessly. I have a sister with special needs and within minutes Jenn just 'got it', I get teared up thinking about how well she interacted with her and how special it was to see the best pictures, my sister Michelle, has ever taken. She captured her true beauty and our relationship. My husband and I are already looking for another reason to work with Jenn. Jimmy (who generally is not one to raise his hand for pictures, loved working with Jenn and her second photographer (who was also awesome!). We were blown away by our experience and would recommend her to everyone for everything...period! SHES AMAZING!!

When my husband accepted a job at Apple, I didn't realize how far from my network of support we would be moving. An engagement ring, a move 3,000 miles across the country, and one adorable cat later, we were planning a destination wedding for 120 North-Easterners, and we were the destination. I am not a religious person, but THANK GOD we hired Jenn. Not only are her pictures beautiful and natural, but she is a wealth of knowledge about wedding planning and helped us find our hair/makeup, flowers, and cake baker. Most importantly, she made my introverted engineer husband completely comfortable during photo shoots. Needless to say, I am obsessed with Jenn. It is in your best interest to hire her.

Jenn is the best. She went above and beyond my expectations. She helped me throughout the entire process and always responded to my questions/concerns promptly. My photos are absolutely gorgeous. My husband is not very photogenic so I was really concerned how he was going to do with our engagement/wedding pictures. Jenn had him eating out of the palm of her hand. If you have her as your photographer you will not be disappointed. She is truly amazing!

I was a bridesmaid in my best friend's wedding on 8/16 and Jennifer was the photographer. She was incredible to interact with it and I was so amazingly impressed with her. She had such vision for photos and it showed in the way she took in the surroundings prior to taking shots. She immediately made the day less stressful and made it possible to enjoy every moment. She even helped make sure the bridesmaid's looked beautiful enough to stand beside the bride...and ironed my bridesmaid's dress for me! That's full service. She made us relax and laugh and really enjoy every minute with the amazing bride and groom. I've already decided that the next time I need photos done I will reach out to Jennifer first!

Jenn photographed my wedding about two weeks ago and she is simply the best! She is so easy and fun to work with and will do whatever it takes to get the best shots. Everyone is my bridal party loved her and she made photos a blast. She always posts sneak peeks on Facebook the night of or day after your wedding and from what I've seen of my wedding photos so far, she was worth every penny. You won't regret hiring her to capture your day!
