Jennifer Costello Wedding Officiant

able to craft a wonderfully personalized ceremony that included a greeting, an expression of intent, exchange of vows and rings. She told our story and weaved it seamlessly into a ceremony that while being non-religious and modern, was also timeless. She expertly cued us during the ceremony, and simultaneously disappeared into the background to let us experience our first few moments as a newly married couple. We highly recommend her services as a wedding officiant.

n’t know how to do this. When we came across Jenn Costello Officiants’ website, we immediately loved how Jenn got started as an officiant (incorporating Catholic and Buddhist beliefs for her friend’s ceremony) and knew she would be the right person for what we were looking to do. When we met over Zoom for our initial consultation, Jenn’s professionalism, openness, and willingness to learn more about sansankudo and determination to figure out how to incorporate this in a way that worked for us and our families made us feel at ease and confident to trust her. We met with her in-person two months before our wedding day to go over her draft, and it allowed both of us to be able to ask clarifying questions, as well as give more details and insight on things we wanted written into our ceremony. Jenn was extremely responsive with her emails which was always reassuring! Her draft and template was very easy for us to work on and customize, it was crazy to think we had no clue where or how to start before we met Jenn! Jenn worked with us on our writing and ceremony structure, and Bri was our actual officiant for our wedding day. While we did not get to meet prior to our wedding, Jenn’s confidence in Bri (and her entire team) reassured us, and Bri also called me a few days prior to go over everything on our final draft (including how to pronounce my name and all other Japanese words, which I REALLY appreciated!!). Bri was extremely friendly and easy to talk to over the phone, and through that phone call, I really knew I had nothing to worry about! She also reassured me that it was not silly of me to ask whether she would move out of the way before our first kiss – knowing that she totally understood my fear of officiants unintentionally photobombing this moment was incredible! Thank you Jenn and Bri for allowing our ceremony to be personalized and run so smoothly!!

nted a few readings and she provided great options to pick from. We would highly recommend her for anyone looking for an officiant!

day with guidance on pairings and order on who to walk at what time, as well as some last minute advice on where to stand (much appreciated, made our photos look SO much better!). I would have been lost having to figure that out on my own! Tara made the ceremony itself a blast, even including ceremony shots!! We are so very happy to have worked with both Jenn and Tara! Thank you both for an awesome experience :)

us and had amazing suggestions for readings and our vows. Jenn kept in touch right up to the big day, even sending us reminders of when and how to get our marriage license. We could not have asked for a better officiant. Thank you so much, Jenn!!

onal packet on how to run a ceremony with great tips and reminders so your ceremony goes smoothly!

s over – she was so warm and welcoming and really listened to our thoughts and ideas. She was very quick in sending us custom ceremony wording options, and was open to changes or alternatives. She was very helpful at the rehearsal dinner with discussing detail options we never even considered. She was perfect on our wedding day – calm, professional, and thoughtful. We had the best officiant marry us, and we would wholeheartedly recommend her to all out friends!

e really listens and cares. Once we booked with her she emailed us the ceremony wording and worked with us to tailor the ceremony just to us. The night of the rehearsal she was calm and patient. The next day she married us and she was amazing! We highly recommend Jennifer, in fact we have a family member getting married soon, and she is having Jennifer officiate her wedding on our recommendation and we couldn’t be happier!

l ceremony. Over coffee we discussed what we wanted fromt the ceremony ie the feel, the wine ceremony, how we wanted to say our own vows. In the next few days she sent us our ceremony and I loved it. As the year leading to our wedding went on, we stayed in contact via email and updated out ceremony. She also read over my vows which I greatly appreciated. On the day of the rehearsal, she did a great job helping me to organize my thoughts and to help plan how the ceremony would go. On June 1st she married us and I cannot rave more about how wonderful she did. The ceremony may have been quick (like we wanted) but her words helped to express our love. I am so happy to have been married by her and would recommend her to all my family and friends.

ved about how special it was. She sent us samples of what she was thinking and allowed us to make changes which was nice. She also helped mail in our marriage license which was a big help. I cannot thank her and recommend her enough!

My grandmother hired her and she was our best vendor there. Highly affordable. We can’t thank her enough. Our rehearsal dinner went smooth and she direct everyone we’re we needed to be.

and even changed it a few times for me as I changed my mind closer to the wedding. She came out to our rehearsal and directed everyone with where to go, where to stand, when to walk, etc, and everything ran so smoothly. She was very easy to communicate with for planning purposes and always responded within a few hours. I highly recommend Jenn to make your ceremony everything that you are hoping it to be!

ts loved. She was very responsive, easy to communicate with and super organized. That put us at ease and helped us feel confident that the ceremony was going to go well (and it did!) Thank you Jennifer!! Bonus: She pronounced pretty difficult to say parts of my name correctly!

ing we could have asked for. Highly, highly recommend Jenn!
