Jennifer is exactly the kind of photographer every couple is hoping to find to capture their wedding day. The photos from our wedding are absolutely stunning and so wonderfully capture the spirit of the day we were hoping to have. Our wedding day was perfect and magical and exactly what we wanted and Jennifer played so much bigger of a role than just observing and memorializing it. From our very first conversation, she asked thoughtful questions to help me figure out how I wanted the day to go and then actively listened and offered incredibly insightful and timely advice that helped me get organized and feel more in control of an otherwise pretty overwhelming experience. She is also incredibly responsive and helped us find other vendors from her vast network of fellow wedding artists. She even confirmed that anyone she recommended was available on our wedding day before she made the introductions, so I didn’t have to spend time calling around and could just hire the first person on her list. She also put together an itinerary for our wedding day, so we would know when we needed to be ready in order to get the pictures done before the ceremony and easily achieve our three main goals for our big day: (1) get married, (2) feed everyone as quickly as possible, and (3) maximize everyone’s time on the dance floor. When she arrived to start our photos, I was relaxed and confident after all of her prep work and so glad she was there to help to keep things on schedule and capture the spirit of fun and excitement we wanted for our wedding. She spent a lot of time talking with me about how we wanted our wedding day to be and then both helped me pull it off and captured it perfectly in the photos. Our albums arrived, yesterday, and they are so beautiful and exactly what I wanted, too. Jennifer is so incredibly kind, patient, and thoughtful, in addition to being a brilliant artist, and brings a relaxed professionalism with just the right amount of fun to give the happy couple space to really enjoy their wedding day. I could not be more grateful for all of her efforts to make our wedding day so memorable and then perfectly capture those wonderful memories. A lot of people told me I wouldn’t remember much of the details of the whirlwind of my wedding day, but Jennifer really helped me find the space to do things at my own pace and I made room for me to remember all of the most important parts because I had a plan that reflected my vision for the day and I didn’t feel stressed or out-of-control, just happy and excited to be marrying the love of my life surrounded by the people who love us. Planning a wedding is a lot, but having an expert like Jennifer with us along for the ride made all the difference. She’s a real treasure!
