Jennifer Drew Events

typical wedding. We just like to party and listen to live music. From the first time meeting Jennifer in our planning process, we could sense her kindness, thorough nature, and laid back approach to newly engaged couples. She took the time to dive into exactly what we wanted for the day and what we didn't. She checked in regularly during the planning process and I knew if I needed help that she would get right back to me. Then enters Angela as our coordinator as we finalize and get ready for the day. She might be the best coordinator in the entire state. She dealt with my indecision and lack of answers with grace and always gave me such great advice when I asked. Then she executed the day like a dream. She was always keeping track of us (and our things!) as well mingled and made sure we had everything we needed. She made sure we always had a drink and a water. She was thorough while working with vendors and made sure everything was in order. Her assistant Jonathan was also so kind and helpful all day long. It was the best day of our lives of which we will cherish the memories for the rest of our lives, and this is all thanks to Jennifer, Angela, and Jonathan for making it go so smoothly! Thank you all so much!

vision (or lack thereof!) to life — and we found that and so much more in Jennifer. For over a year, she made us feel like we were her only clients. Our wedding felt as important to her as it did to us, and her care and dedication never wavered. We gave Jennifer almost no creative direction, and she still managed to guide us to decisions we genuinely loved. She has this rare ability to take your values and personalities — even when you can't articulate them — and transform them into a beautiful, seamless event. We asked her to keep us out of the weeds with vendor emails and logistics, and she handled every single detail with such grace and strength that we truly had a stress-free planning process (which feels unheard of!). Jennifer held us accountable without ever making us feel stressed. She walked us through every tiny detail — registry, beauty team, timelines — and always with warmth, humor, and unwavering precision. Her amazing assistant Darcy even became my personal shadow all weekend, making sure I was exactly where I needed to be, with zero stress on my end. The true magic of Jennifer’s work is that Tucker and I got to be totally blissful, not just on the wedding day, but throughout the entire engagement. We know there were countless fires to put out, last-minute changes, and intense behind-the-scenes work — but we never felt any of it. She created space for us to just be present and happy. Jennifer takes no nonsense, fiercely protects your vision, and will absolutely go to bat for your perfect day. She's the most effective communicator — clear, concise, and never wasting a moment. She played mediator among all decision-makers, ran point on everything we didn't want to touch, and adapted instantly to our personalities, communication styles, and preferences. We both work full time and wanted to enjoy being engaged — Jennifer made that dream a reality. We are certain she saved us years off our lives. Her creativity is jaw-dropping, her work ethic unmatched, and her problem-solving skills superhuman. We didn’t see her sit for three days straight, and yet somehow we never saw a single issue. Jennifer even preserved all our beautiful details — from invites and menus to stamps and name cards — and gifted us a stunning, personal wedding memento. It was the perfect cherry on top of everything she had already done. Since the wedding, we’ve genuinely missed our regular check-ins with her. She feels like part of our family now — and if I could do it all again, I might try to make her a bridesmaid (though I don’t think she’d accept!). We’re already looking forward to our next big life event, because we know that with Jennifer by our side, it will be something beyond our wildest dreams. — Molly & Tucker

r - because already done!! Her communication and organization skills are NEXT LEVEL. Knowing we had a destination wedding on deck, there was only one person that had to lead the charge. YES, Jennifer. For whatever reason, Jennifer agreed. Couldn’t believe it. Honored, humbled and thrilled. “We” lol took 14 months to nail down every person and detail to arrange and rearrange. Jennifer made 3 trips out prior to wedding to meet all involved for a FOUR DAY wedding wknd event. My husband mention for his next adventure that he will be stealing Jennifer away for work with him. Our daughter (the bride) told him “GET IN LINE” for everyone wants to steal Jennifer, the ultimate professional!! AND, mind reader, I might add haha I have yet to decide if Jennifer is now my 4th daughter or new bestie. Think I’ll go bestie since she already has a mom for whom did a wonderful job raising an amazing daughter/human. Erin P Santa Fe

run so smoothly and her advice and support over the last month kept us from feeling even a moment of stress. We particularly appreciated that Angela and Jennifer quickly internalized what we did and didn't care about and rolled with it.

ess event execution for her valued couples and their families. Jennifer is thorough, kind, and works tirelessly as she coordinates all the nuanced pieces of complex events with ease! We love partnering with STR, and look forward to producing many more events with her team in the future.

a friend from the very first time we met! I was the typical stressed out bride but Darcy quickly eased my mind. She was so professional but also very easy-going and fun to be around. I absolutely loved how I could ask her for advice and she'd give her honest opinion and help me make both big and small decisions. I truly trusted her judgement and she never led me wrong! She had great recommendations/referrals, responded promptly, and provided excellent communication between the vendors. She was always very prepared and knew exactly what questions to ask whenever we met with vendors. It always felt like we were on the same page- which was such a relief! We had a big (around 300 guests) wedding and she truly made the day so stress free for us. We received many compliments from our family, wedding party, and guests on how smooth the day went and how great everything was- which was all thanks to Darcy! Aisle Planner was another huge perk of working with StR events. This platform made planning way more organized and Darcy is practically a professional with it! Whenever we had a hiccup with the program or didn't know how to work something, she sent thorough instructions.

tor but she was so amazing that we *wish* we had had her plan the whole thing. Jennifer is incredibly organized, friendly, and professional. She provided invaluable input on all the last-minute questions from vendors that helped our wedding day go smoothly. She handled all the surprises that came up during the wedding and allowed us to fully enjoy the day we had spent two years planning. I cannot emphasize this enough: she was incredible and directly responsible for us having the best day possible while surrounded by our guests and loved ones.

o we met with Jennifer almost 2 years. She was there every step of the way. It was so nice to have her input in vendors, as she has worked with them before, she knew who to recommend. I have no complaints about any of the vendors she recommended! I am a very indecisive person and she made making decisions a lot easier for me. Whether I was jumping ahead or running late on certain checklist items, Jennifer always calmed my nerves and (kindly) coached us to stay on track with planning. On the day of the wedding, Jennifer and Darcy kept everyone in line from the vendors to the wedding party. I particularly enjoyed how my husband, our bridal party, and I did not have to do anything to set up or clean up wedding decorations. While this is partially due to our great vendors and venue staff, Jennifer and Darcy made sure everything was packed away and I knew where all of my wedding items were at the end of the night. I truly cannot recommend StR Events enough, they make the whole process of planning and the day of the wedding absolutely perfect and run so smoothly!

ou were on top of them all. You made our job so much easier. Thank you and hope to work together again in the future!

ed I was pretty convinced we could handle the planning ourselves, even knowing we were getting married in another state. That confidence quickly turned to complete panic once we realized how much actually goes into planning a wedding. We actually learned about StR events through a good friend who highly recommended Jennifer. We went ahead and reached out and had a great intro conversation with Jennifer, and that panic was quickly replaced with a peace of mind that we were in good hands-- and were we ever. The best way I can describe the wedding planning process with Jennifer is that she oftentimes could read my mind and put together the words that were just thoughts in my head. That's to say, with every vendor we met with, she knew all of the right questions to ask and would help me answer the ones that I got stuck on. Speaking of vendors, all of the vendors that Jennifer recommended to us were absolutely incredible. As for the day of, this is where Jennifer and the StR team really shined. Our wedding day was actually stress-free for me, the bride. Crazy, right? Well, when you have people working to keep everyone on schedule, dealing with last-minute adjustments, and helping get the vendors what they need, it truly takes a lot of the wedding-day stress off of you. Many thanks again to Jennifer and the StR team-- you guys are incredible. 10/10 would recommend.

iding couples through their planning process from start to finish! We will happily and confidently continue to recommend them to all our couples for their big day!

ng before, so we thought it would be a good idea to seek help from someone who has planned hundreds of them... that was an extremely good idea. Jennifer knew what to expect: what could go right, what could go wrong, how to navigate both of those extremes and make sure the day unfolded smoothly. Her lists of recommended vendors were always organized by price range so that we could allocate our budget to focus on what was most important to us for that day. She stayed in constant contact with us for the months leading up to the wedding day, and gave us constant updates and reassurance that all of the vendors were on track to deliver. Her planning process was in-depth, and the tools that she provided us were so helpful and intuitive to use. I cannot express how impressed we were with StR Events!

nifer was incredibly thoughtful, proactive, and thorough with her communications. She collaborated seamlessly with all of our vendors and recommended additional services that were invaluable to our day. She truly thought of everything, made us feel respected and affirmed as a queer couple, and kept our vision at the center. We were able to be fully present and enjoy our celebration with our loved ones because of her planning and support.

our special day and have her to thank. From day one, Jennifer took our chaotic energy and ideas and turned them into our dream wedding that was beyond our wildest expectations. She went above and beyond to alleviate our worries and was willing to meet at odd times to provide reassurance when we needed it. Her patience and understanding made the entire process enjoyable and stress-free. Jennifer’s ability to manage every detail, from coordinating vendors to perfecting the timeline, was truly remarkable. She listened to all our asks, offered creative solutions, and ensured that our wedding day was nothing short of magical. We can't thank her enough for her unwavering support and turning our disorganized dreams into a reality. Our wedding was a day we'll cherish forever, and would not have been remotely possible without our exceptional wedding planner.

cess. We had a long engagement and she was there every step of the way for advice, suggestions and even contract review. Jennifer helped us create the day of our dreams while also offering industry knowledge we would have never considered. The month or so leading up to our wedding we were introduced to Darcy and I could not have been more comfortable and excited from the moment we met with her. Darcy has the most calming and yet excitable energy and was the best resource for vendor coordination, questions and just general guidance leading up to the big day. During the wedding weekend Darcy efficiently lead out rehearsal, coordinated an amazing timeline for our entire bridal party and vendor team and made sure the day went exactly as planned. I was a very Type A bride and Darcy made sure I was feeling excited and comfortable every step of the way. Darcy checked in on us the entire day while also being sure every detail we planned was executed to perfection. Hiring STR was the best decision we made during our wedding planning process and I will be recommending them to everyone planning a wedding moving forward! Thank you STR!

ly recommend Jennifer and her team!

carte options. We got help with the initial decorating, recommendations for vendors that fit our vision, and tons of help for the month leading up to the wedding and day of activities. Darcy is AMAZING!! We could not have had our special day without this team!

planning and make sure our bases were covered for rain. She had a magical Mary poppins bag full of things I didn’t even know we might need that day (that we DID need): shout wipes, tissues, safety pins, fashion tape, umbrellas. I’m pretty sure if you needed some wedding vows, CBD gummies, an electrolyte pack, or an emergency cell phone charger, she probably had it in there too. Aisle planner was another perk of using StR events. I was able to make my reception & ceremony plan A & plan B layouts for Darcy to see where everything from the vendors would go for setup. Definitely take advantage of this tool, it tracks your to-dos, budgets, vendors, layouts, & rsvps. She gave us 110% and didn’t break a sweat when one of our vendors showed up 3 hours late to set up. She is so professional, she has insight from many past brides experiences & makes you feel like your wedding is the only one she is working this year. I’m recommending her to all my single friends. Best wedding budget money you will spend hands down.

detail-oriented and is the reason our wedding weekend was perfect! Her vendor recommendations are extremely helpful and the team she put together for our weekend was incredible! Communication was also extremely important to us and she was always quick to respond and willing to help with any needs we had during the planning process. We were blown away by how smooth the day went and how stress-free the experience was for myself, my now husband, and both of our families. I cannot thank Jennifer enough for all she did for us during the planning process and for being an amazing friend to an anxious bride. I highly recommend Jennifer for full service planning! Thank you Jennifer!

t we both work demanding jobs, made the thought of wedding planning very overwhelming. But thanks to Jennifer, we found the planning process was FUN & stress-free! She gave us the best vendor recommendations (we LOVED them all so much), helped us manage our priorities, remember details, and kept us on track every step of the way. At first, I tried to be the "cool bride" who didn't sweat the small stuff - in reality, I'm a worrier and probably a bit of a control freak :) BUT Jennifer's easy demeanor, industry knowledge, vendor connections, and organizational skills made it easy for me just to sit back and enjoy the process without stressing. I totally trusted her to bring it all together - and she absolutely exceeded all expectations. We frequently bombarded her with questions, and she was always quick to answer. Despite having lots of unique requests for the wedding, I don't think we ever heard the word "no" from Jennifer. She was always able to make it happen! Our family and friends are a rowdy bunch, but Jennifer was able to keep them organized and stress-free, too. Which we just so appreciate. Again, Jennifer really went above and beyond throughout the whole process. I can easily say our dream wedding wouldn't have been possible without her. We already miss talking to her! Thank you SO MUCH, Jennifer! You're reliable, experienced, and a dream to work with. We HIGHLY recommend Jennifer/STR Events for all your wedding planning needs!

es just love them as well! We always get amazing feedback which is exciting and inspiring! Very highly recommended!

She was so fun to work with, so relatable and down to earth. She understood our wants and needs completely and translated them to all of the vendors. She made communicating with everyone so easy. The day of the wedding could not have gone any smoother either, if there were any bumps I had no idea. All of our vendors, everyone in our wedding party, everyone knew exactly what was going on at all times and it just all went so well. Not to mention it was the most fun day ever! Darcy we cannot thank you enough for everything!!!

went smooth and it was a perfect wedding in every way:)

o past our wedding day. She made sure that I had no stress or concerns on wedding day, which was honestly hard for me to not want to manage things, but had all the faith in Darcy and was not disappointed. She executed everything perfectly. All of my vendors were completely in the loop and had no questions or concerns. The set up and tear down was seamless, neither of our families had to do anything. Honestly, Darcy was a dream to have on our wedding day! She is sweet, thoughtful, organized, communicative, and executes flawlessly. Hire Darcy, Hire StR, you will not be disappointed and you will be in wonderful hands on a big day!

started working with her about a year ahead of the wedding and she assisted every step of the way – working with vendors, managing our priorities, remembering small details we hadn’t considered, and designing our venue space. We can say that we found wedding planning fun, and it was thanks to Jennifer! We planned our Columbus wedding from afar (New York) and Jennifer had amazing recommendations and managed most of our vendor communications. She also designed the space with the florist, and it was MAGICAL. We couldn’t have come up with a better vision, and we still get so many compliments on the décor from our guests. The room was beautiful, vibrant, and personal. The day-of, I worried about nothing thanks to Jennifer and Darcy (and I’m a worrier)! Everything ran perfectly – the bridal party and parents knew where to go, every piece of the day was on time, and no detail was forgotten (cake toppers, personalized napkins, s’mores, etc.). Also, Jennifer and Darcy organized all our personal belongings for us to collect the next day (stationary, champagne glasses, etc.) – no small task. We’re not overexaggerating when we say we don’t know how we would have pulled off our dream wedding without Jennifer. She was so on top of every detail every step of the way and we’ll miss talking to her almost daily! Thank you, thank you, thank you to Jennifer. You made wedding planning fun and the wedding day the best day of our lives because we could focus on what matters most. - Cathy & Ken Brophy

ging all of our vendors. She went above and beyond, even supplied last minute unexpected items! The day of the wedding was worry-free because Jennifer was so on top of everything. We could relax and enjoy the day. She was very professional and tactful dealing with all personality types, aside from being extremely nice! I highly recommend her and her company!

and was there to help us from start to finish (and beyond). She helped with all the vendor communication, which was fantastic because there was so much to do and keep track of leading up to the wedding. On the big day, she was always one step ahead of us, making sure we knew where we had to be, grabbing us food from the cocktail hour to ensure we had something to eat, and packing up everything at the end of the night. And the best part was that every interaction we had with her, she was so nice. I could not recommend Jennifer enough! If she could organize my life, she would be worth every penny!

She was so accessible and responsive, I could always count on her honest opinion and keeping me organized! She helped us put on the most perfect wedding while simultaneously making sure my husband and I were hydrated and comfortable. Even with planning a wedding in this post pandemic world she was an absolute angel and a joy to work with!

ss. I am so grateful for her services on our wedding day as I did not have to think about anything but just be present. She created thorough timelines, made all follow-up calls and was well versed in vendor suggestions. Darcy was on time, if not early, for any vendor meeting and she was ON TOP of answering emails. I cannot gush enough about Darcy and I am forever grateful for her helping us have the best weekend of our lives!

day of coordination. She was well organized and thorough. Came up with creative solutions and had helpful suggestions when asked. Rehearsal went smoothly with her direction. We had the wedding at the Grange Audubon center in Columbus which was a beautiful outdoor venue and fun indoor space. A Mariachi band set the mood for our wedding fiesta and the fun celebration continued throughout the evening. I felt Darcy truly heard us when we described the event we wanted to have and did her best to keep us on track. I would highly recommend StR events and use them again.

our wedding day. For starters, Jennifer is extremely good at what she does. She is organized, communicative, smart, and knowledgeable, as she has been in the industry for almost a decade. I honestly don’t know what we would have done without her! It was so nice not having to worry about a single thing on our actual wedding day. Another reason why I loved working with Jennifer is because she herself was the point person and planner from the second we started working together. She got to know us very well, our personalities, and what we wanted for our wedding–it felt very personal which is an amazing feeling to have on such an important day. Hiring StR Events was well worth it!!

nd everything. Perhaps that is true, but having Jennifer was a blessing...before and especially during the big day. She made sure everyone was where they were supposed to be, at the time they were supposed to be there. It took all of the stress out of the day and left us with nothing to do but to enjoy the wonderful event that she helped us to create. Rachel and Doug were pleased, and as parents, we were happy the kids were able to have such a special event for such a special occasion. I would definitely recommend her and her team! They helped to make that day so much more memorable! Thanks Jennifer!!

ces we needed before we even did. We ended up having a design meeting with her and then the month of service. This was perfect for us. We knew design elements that we liked and some that we didn’t, but Jennifer took all of that and created a cohesive and detailed plan. This was invaluable. It helped us get our planning off to a good start, avoid many common mistakes, and made it easier to talk to vendors. Our florist even mentioned how organized we were and how good Jennifer is at design. During the month of the wedding, Jennifer took over coordination and made sure every last detail had been considered. Many of those important details we would have never considered without her. She also built our timeline and communicated with all the vendors. On the day of the wedding, everything ran so smoothly because she was there to help the vendors set up. She was ready for any possible situation. She even sewed my maid of honor into her dress that was too big! It was so reassuring to have her guiding us to the next thing throughout the wedding and always checking in to make sure we had everything we needed. In addition to being incredibly competent, she was also friendly and made planning fun. When we started planning a wedding, we read so many reviews that said “a wedding planner is the best investment you can make for your wedding” and this is 100% true. But more specifically, we would say StR Events is the best investment you can make for your wedding.

organizing everything we had to do.. it all went so smooth. EVEN when, 3 weeks before the wedding... we added a bunch of things that we had not planned on yet. We managed to double our flowers, add valet parking, add this add that... I thought surely she is not going to be able to make it happen but she did! I am not even kidding.. when I say we added things at the last minute... we added lots of things and all got done. I would highly recommend Jennifer to plan any wedding in the future for my friends or family. The Vendors she choose for us were also equally amazing. Beautiful flowers, a great band, food, linens, lighting etc etc. Honestly, no idea how anyone could do a wedding without a coordinator.. theres just too many moving parts and you're worried constantly that something is gonna break... at the end of the night, I was like.. it ALL WORKED PERFECTLY. Jennifer and her planning was Ace!

arents upbeat and confident, and our focus on the end goal: our dream wedding. And did she and Darcy ever deliver! Darcy helped us with the rehearsal dinner and it was a hit; guests stayed for hours after the evening had officially ended. Our wedding was beyond our dreams; Jennifer and team took our vision and brought it to a whole different level. We were in awe. We will cherish the memories of the weekend forever and can't recommend StR enough.

ct. We are so grateful they were available and able to help plan our wedding; they are organized, helpful and went the extra mile to make sure the experience was tailored to exactly what we wanted. Cannot recommend this group enough :)

appen in the Fall of 2021. She is organized, has unparalleled knowledge of the event space, recommends great vendor options, and is an expert at prioritization. She helped us stay on track with our budget and championed us finding beautiful options. She has come to feel like family after this planning process. You will have an amazing event if you work with Jennifer.

here is just no one better!!!!!!

, but our STR Event wedding planner, Darcy, made it possible for us. Darcy was professional, attentive, and detail oriented. She made our experience of planning a wedding so enjoyable and stress free! If you are looking for a personable and hard worker in the Columbus, Ohio area, I highly recommend Darcy and STR Events. The BEST in the area!!

She took the ideas we had and really put those together into a beautiful theme for our reception. She was very helpful in navigating all of the questions surrounding COVID and never once made it seem like we were not going to get the wedding we wanted. Our wedding day was perfect: Jennifer was on top of everything the entire day, had us ready for all of the different parts of the day, from getting ready, to our ceremony, to all of the happenings at our reception. We couldn't have imagined a more perfect day! And that is truly thanks to Jennifer!

l in keeping my wife and I organized and making sure we were meeting all the timelines of wedding planning. At the wedding, everything went by so smooth. All of our guests discussed how organized and how smooth the whole day went. We are very thankful to have Jen by our sides and would highly recommend Jen and Str Events!

d planning our day without her. She knew exactly what I wanted and gave us the wedding of our dreams! It truly was an amazing day with attention to all the details, I don't think I stopped smiling once during the wedding and couldn't believe how stress-free I felt. I HIGHLY recommend Jennifer and her team to any and everyone considering hiring a wedding planner, they are the absolute best!

COVID, and I'm not sure I would have been able to make it through all the changes without her help. The best thing about her is that she ALWAYS, ALWAYS answered my texts, emails and phone calls promptly and calmly even when I was freaking out! She also makes really good vendor recommendations - I am really into stationary, so I was pretty particular about the look of our invitation suite and other printing, and I LOVED the print vendor she connected me with. We had 4 small children in our wedding who came in from out of town, and she even helped us find a babysitter for them, so their parents (who were all in the wedding party) were able to enjoy getting ready with me and my husband stress-free. On the day of our wedding, everything ran so smoothly, and I knew she was working hard behind the scenes to make all of that happen. My husband also commented that she was like "a ninja" during the reception - no matter where we were she always managed to find us and make sure we had a drink in our hands! Finally, another thing I appreciated was the CRM that she uses to track RSVPs and seating. I can't even imagine doing that on paper or keeping my own spreadsheet to manage all of that! I would definitely recommend Jennifer and StR to any Columbus couples planning a wedding. Regardless of the size of your wedding or your budget, she really is all about making your day what YOU want it to be. Thanks, Jennifer!

an amazing planning document that outlined everything we needed to do before the big day. And on the day of the wedding they took care of every single detail. Because of these two my wife and I were able to enjoy our wedding to its fullest without ever needing to worry about a single thing. And when my wife’s dress had a button pop off, Jennifer swooped right in with a huge emergency kit with spare buttons and needle and thread. They literally thought of everything and made sure the whole day ran as smoothly as possible. Make sure you use StR Events, you will not be disappointed!

the day flawlessly keeping everything running smoothly!
