Jennifer Janssen Bridal Artistry

lled it all together! I truly couldn’t have felt more beautiful on my wedding day.

ruly began. Highly recommend!!

l of our hair stayed in the entire day (9am until 1am the next morning).... Yes even the flower girl! She was running around and dancing all day & it still stayed up! THE HAIR: Lydia and Jenna were the two doing hair services and Jenna provided makeup for me. They arrived on time, had good communication leading up to the wedding, and were really sweet. They were efficient with their time, but didn't rush. THE MAKEUP: Jenna did my hair AND makeup and she did a wonderful job. After she was done with my makeup, I asked for a couple things I wanted and she did them with no problem. I am so happy with how my hair and makeup turned out. Oh I should also mention that Jenna scheduled a trial of my hair and makeup two months prior to the wedding. The trial also went very well and I was happy with those services too! The trial and the wedding day were exactly the same and I couldn't be happier. THE BUSINESS SIDE OF THINGS: I was so confused the entire time with the payments. I never knew who I was paying, what amount, and if it was with a card or cash. I didn't understand the "cash only" payment on the day of the wedding. It just seemed sketchy to me. But nonetheless, the payment stuff didn't ruin the day, didn't ruin my experience with JJ Artistry, and I would use them again in the future and recommend them to anyone!!! THANKS SO MUCH!!!!

so beautiful and couldn’t stop looking in the mirror! She was so warm and friendly and fit right in to our crazy group to make sure my day was perfect. I couldn’t have asked for a better MUA day of!!

s were easy, and the wedding day went seamlessly! The hair and makeup turned out great for everyone, and stayed all night long! Would definitely recommend!

nd JJ Bridal Artistry, everything suddenly became easy. Instead of having to search for artists myself, they paired me with talented hairstylists and makeup artists who were local to me, coordinated both of my trials on the same day at a convenient location nearby, and made the entire booking process feel seamless. Unfortunately, my first hair trial did not go the way I had hoped. I didn't like my hair at all, and I left feeling discouraged. Beyond the hairstyle itself, I just didn't feel like my stylist and I clicked, and I couldn't picture myself walking down the aisle looking the way I did. As any bride knows, that's a scary feeling! I reached out to Abby right away, and she was incredible. She immediately reassured me, listened to every concern I had, and without hesitation matched me with one of their senior hairstylists, Claudia. Claudia was an absolute angel in every sense of the word. From the moment I sat in her chair, I knew I was in the best hands. She truly listened to my vision, offered thoughtful suggestions, and her talent is unmatched. My second trial was everything I had hoped for and more. She made me feel beautiful, confident, and like a bride. On my wedding day, my hair was absolutely perfect and stayed flawless from the first look until the very end of the night. I truly cannot say enough wonderful things about her. I also have to give a huge shoutout to my makeup artist, Emily. She is so talented and such a fun and calming presence to have on your wedding morning. She made me feel like the most beautiful version of myself—my makeup was timeless, natural, and absolutely flawless. One of my favorite moments from the morning was reading a letter from my husband before the ceremony. I was crying so hard, fully expecting my makeup to be a mess, but not a single thing streaked or smudged. I was genuinely amazed. My makeup looked just as perfect at the end of the night as it did when Emily first finished it. I received countless compliments throughout the day, and I truly couldn't have imagined anyone else doing my makeup. The artists who took care of us on the wedding morning arrived with the biggest smiles and created such a fun, relaxed atmosphere. They made my bridal party, flower girls, my mom, and my mother-in-law all feel beautiful, comfortable, and cared for. Everyone looked absolutely gorgeous, and getting ready became one of my favorite parts of the entire day because of them. What impressed me most about JJ Bridal Artistry wasn't just the incredible artists they work with—it was the way they genuinely care about their brides. Instead of dismissing my concerns after my first trial, they listened, acted quickly, and made sure I walked away feeling excited and confident. That level of customer service is so rare, and it's exactly what every bride deserves! If you're searching for hair and makeup artists for your wedding, I cannot recommend JJ Bridal Artistry enough. They take all the stress out of finding talented professionals by thoughtfully matching you with artists who fit your needs, and their communication, flexibility, and genuine care for their clients are second to none. Thank you to Claudia, Emily, Megan, and Tori for helping make me feel so beautiful, confident, and cared for on one of the best days of my life!

. Thorough and consistent communication throughout the experience!

h from the trial all the way through the wedding morning. She was attentive, organized, and truly gifted at what she does. She took time to understand my vision, matched my skin tone perfectly, and created a look that was exactly what I dreamed of! My makeup held up through tears, photos, and plenty of dancing, and I received so many compliments throughout the day! Every single bridesmaid and both moms loved their makeup as well and felt amazing all day. Her professionalism, artistry, and calming presence made her absolutely amazing! I would recommend JJ Bridal Artistry to any bride without hesitation!

ulous job with my bridesmaids as well :) She was super easy to communicate with over text, and really easy to carry out a conversation with, which helped to ease my nerves the morning of my big day! I would highly recommend her and JJ Bridal Artistry!

offered hair and makeup trials and I felt great on my big day!

flawless, and I usually don’t wear anything, so Katelyn created a perfect soft glam look. It lasted throughout the whole night, through the tears and the dance floor without really any touch ups needed. My bridesmaids, mom, and mother in law were also blown away with her work! Lexie did our hair and she was incredible! She was so efficient and was able to give us all our dream hair look just based on an inspo photo. My hair looked and felt perfect the whole day/night. My trials with each artist were also great, and they were super easy to communicate with. Highly recommend this team!!

f. I absolutely loved my hair and make-up ladies, and they made everyone look incredible! Plus I felt like they were extremely reasonably priced. Highly recommend Annika and Elizabeth!

makeup turned out better than I ever imagined. Everything stayed flawless through happy tears, photos, and dancing. Heather was also so kind and accommodating — making quick touch-ups and changes to help a few bridesmaids feel their best. I’m so grateful I chose JJ Bridal Artistry and would recommend them  to any bride looking for a calm, talented, and professional team of artists.

s incredibly fast without ever compromising quality. Every hairstyle looked flawless and lasted all night long. She was also super open to feedback and happy to make any tweaks or adjustments to make sure everyone felt their best. Ashley worked beautifully with all different hair types and lengths, and every single person looked stunning. We couldn’t have been happier with how everything turned out. She’s so talented, efficient, and sweet. We’d highly recommend her to anyone looking for a hairstylist for their wedding!

eam ensured everyone left their chair happy!

of time! I could not have asked for a better person to make me feel absolutely beautiful on my special day and I would highly recommend! Photos by exuberantphotosbyrockyllc

ectly. A lot of the girls in my group don’t wear a ton of makeup regularly and she did a great job making sure they still look/felt natural day of. The whole experience was great and stress free!

nd Jackie Patten was my makeup artist. Both exceeded my expectations. They also did the hair and makeup for my bridesmaid. Everyone loved the final look. I would 10/10 recommend. The only thing I wish was different is the payment method. I would've preferred to send the final payment via Zelle or cashapp instead of worrying up bringing cash the day of the wedding.

r trial session and adjusted any feedback I had perfectly. I felt incredibly beautiful on my wedding day.

hair color and made suggestions based on our idea photo on what might work / Look better on each of us. She was so personal and made every girl look and feel her best, even in the 101 degree heat and 40mph winds! Our hair held, and I mean held! You would have never guessed our photos and ceremony were outside. I would highly recommend her, she works quickly but takes her time in the details. She even touched up all our hair at the end and finished ahead of schedule! She absolutely is a girls girl and wanted the very best of us all. I (the bride) was the only one to get makeup services. I never wear any makeup and Jamie nailed the "all natural and minimal makeup" look while still making me feel like a bride. She kept all my facial features looking natural and made corrections if there was something I just didn't think looked like me.

from Illinois) which made the travel fee for the trial inevitable. Katelyn did my and my bridal party's makeup and she is so kind and did a phenomenal job! She was also great about asking questions to figure out the perfect look during the trial. The person I was initially paired with for hair seemed new, anxious, and did a sloppy job on my simple updo (a low knot bun). When I indicated my concern, Abby was quick to jump in and sort everything out, and Shawna then did our hair and did a very expert job. Loved how we all looked on the day of! stages of booking. She was responsive and answered all of my questions promptly. My hair (Ashley) and makeup (Jeanette) team were also amazing to work with. Scheduling trials with each was a breeze and they both listened to all of my visions and concerns. On the day of the wedding, Ashley and Jeanette made both me and my bridal party look stunning! We all got so many compliments on both hair and makeup throughout the evening. Both Ashley and Jeanette were on time, personable, listened to exactly what everyone wanted, and perfectly executed the small changes I wanted after my trial hair and makeup. I truly could not ask for a better team to work with from booking to wedding day! Thank you to my hair and makeup team for making me feel like the most beautiful, confident version of myself, and thank you to the entire JJ Bridal team for being so easy to work with!

own skin. My bridal party was compromised of girls that do not wear a lot of makeup day to day, and each one could not say enough good things about how they felt. Just like an elevated version of themselves. Betzy (our lead hairstylist) and Chloe (Hairstylist) also brought everyone’s hair vision to life. I was beyond impressed with them and could not recommend them enough!
