I had a specific style in mind of photos that were light and airy and her photos far exceeded my expectations. We met her prior to the wedding as we had an engagement shoot with her and right from the start we knew she’d be a perfect fit. My husband was nervous he would feel awkward taking pictures and Jen made us both feel so comfortable. On my wedding day she was such a hype girl too, making me feel so beautiful! I will definitely be using her again in the future.

The turnaround time for receiving our photos was surprisingly fast, and the presentation was impeccable. Jen gave us so many preview photos while we were still on our first leg of our honeymoon! Our full album was delivered not too long after that. The files are organized by category which makes locating each picture a breeze. Overall, we can't recommend Jen enough. We used Jen for our July wedding and we couldn’t recommend her more! Jen is kind, professional, patient, and extremely accommodating. My husband and I had some unique requests, including a stop for photos in front of our house, which Jen happily made happen! Jen’s photos are extremely beautiful and clearly capture the fun, happiness, and love of our event from start to finish. These will all be special keepsakes for years to come. Having seen her in action in my sister's two weddings due to covid, it was a no brainer that we had to work with her. Our absolute favorite vendor! Jen was sweet, calm and made us feel so unbelievably comfortable in front of the camera. She was organized and so professional throughout the day. We shot with 3 young children and she came prepared to keep them happy and comfortable in front of the camera. We finally got a sneak peek at our photos and she absolutely blew our minds. BLOWN AWAY. These are the words I would use to describe how I felt after I received the sneak peak of my wedding photos (that too, just a couple of days after my wedding)! I’m writing this review so many months after my wedding as this past year has been extremely busy with my wedding, career, new job, and a cross country move. I was planning my intimate wedding ceremony and came across Jennifer Lam Photography after being referred to her by another photographer who had conflicting dates. What a blessing that was. From the moment I connected with Jennifer, she immediately became a part of our wedding journey. She is quite personable, professional, easy to work with, and very accommodating. She took the time to get to know me and my fiancé and walked with us each step of the way up until after our wedding day. She seamlessly captured so many beautiful, natural, and priceless moments and the photos came out beyond BEAUTIFUL! Her photos have a certain elevated style, and elegance while remaining natural, light, and flawless (or shall I say perfectly imperfect- if you know what I mean). Jennifer and Danielle were the best team for capturing our wedding day. They meshed very well with our friends and family. They strategized the whole day to make sure everything was moving along, and that we got all of the shots we were looking for! Working with Jen leading up to the day was effortless. I also appreciated both of their positive attitudes on our actual day. Despite rain or changes in locations, Jen and Danielle were right there to make it work! WOW!! The best ever!! We just received a sneak peak of our wedding photos and they are STUNNING!!! I am truly blown away and we could not be happier! We hired Jen to capture our Wedding day photos and we are so glad we did. Jen along with her second photographer, Danielle were an absolute PLEASURE to work with. Let’s just start by saying I had hired Jennifer way before I had a venue! I booked her for our engagement photoshoot and kept her in the loop as we searched for a venue. If you are looking for a calm, yet beautiful soul, incredible artist, and romanic wedding photos that will knock you off your feet, you need to book Jen! Jen ended up being one of those vendors that was truly meant to be...we had postponed our wedding 3 different times and were lucky enough to find Jen for our final wedding date. The first time I met Jen was literally on my wedding day, but I knew from our first phone call that she was the one! She put my mind at ease from the get-go and listened to all of our ideas and aspects that were important to us. She also was incredibly personal and would email me occasionally to ask about our house that we were flipping/moving into. Her email responses were always within 24 hours and I never had an issue getting in touch with her. The day of our wedding she was such an angel and was the easiest vendor to work with. We received teasers maybe 3-4 days later and had our full gallery at exactly 6 weeks, just as stated in our contract. My husband and I are not the most comfortable models, and she captured the most stunning and breathtaking pictures that we will cherish for the rest of our lives. We are truly so blessed to have had Jen capture our wedding day and would hire her again in a heartbeat!!

I could literally talk all day about how wonderful Jen is. She is an amazing photographer and gave us the most beautiful wedding pictures- and made sure we got every shot we were looking for. Just looking at Jennifer's photos I knew I loved her style and her shots. Every photo is stunning! She makes you feel like best friends from the start. I absolutely cannot day enough about how much we loved working with Jen. Her work is absolutely stunning and she is the most wonderful human being. Jen is incredibly responsive and professional. She actually photographed our friends’ wedding in 2019 and we were hooked on her style. I was constantly worried that we were running late and she kept saying “we are totally fine on time...” and she was right!! She uses her experience well to keep things moving when they need to and slow down if we had time to burn. She is also super prepared (like carries a step stool to get the right angle prepared) and always had two cameras at the ready (mostly for different shots but it was nice to know they were both there). We had several family members who had been to other weddings comment specifically on how fantastic Jen was to work with. They noted how easy she made the process of getting photos taken and how she really organized everyone and kept things upbeat. She even sent us a few preview photos that night and we are in love and on the edge of our seats awaiting the remaining photos. We both loved our experience working with Jen and can’t wait to see her again for our larger celebration next year. I really cannot say enough about how incredible Jen is! She photographed our friends' wedding last summer, and we loved the photos - so bright and stunning - and her! We are so fortunate to have had her photograph our small wedding ceremony. It was a hectic day, requiring much more direction to keep things moving since it was just our marriage ceremony and not something most of us have had experience with scheduling wise (wedding postponed due to COVID), and Jen organized everyone, kept everything moving, and made sure we got every photo we wanted (and more!). My husband and I have never liked taking photos of ourselves, but Jen made us feel so incredibly comfortable and calm, and we absolutely love the photos she took!! She was also great with our nieces and nephews and did not miss a single beat. Before you can even think about a photo you might want, Jen is there with her camera (and she's cheering you on and making you laugh while taking amazing photos!). God, I can't say enough about how much I love Jen and recommend for every single person in the world to hire her. I haven't even gotten married yet, but Jen has photographed me twice (once for an engagement shoot and once myself for headshots) and even though I'm awkward as anything, she makes me feel completely comfortable, laughs with me, and boosts my ego like no one ever has. Jennifer had been on my radar as soon as I started researching photographers because of her light & airy editing style. I immediately fell in love with her photos, but when we met her for our engagement shoot I knew she was a gem. My husband and I were married this past February and we had the absolute privilege of having Jennifer as our photographer. Every time I look at any picture Jennifer took from our wedding, I am overcome with awe by how beautiful the pictures are and with gratitude that we had Jennifer capture our special day. Jennifer is also extremely organized, flexible, and easy going. She offered so many solutions to any concerns I had with orchestrating the day. My husband and I are so blessed to have worked with Jennifer who gave us such beautiful pictures of beautiful memories we will cherish forever. I also know that Jennifer will be a constant source in our life for all of our photography needs and I just can’t wait until we work with her again.

ESSENTIAL FOR YOUR WEDDING DAY! Jennifer was excited, energetic, super responsive, and organized from the minute we hired her. She not only wants to take beautiful photos of your wedding day but before booking she wants to get to know you and your future husband on a personal level which helps her better understand your style and personalities. Our engagement session she got to know my husband and I a little better which was a huge help before the wedding. She captures the most organic and candid moments of the day and also will make sure she takes all of the photos YOU want! My absolute favorite thing about Jennifer is how polite she is and how polite she remained dealing with us, our huge bridal party, and families for 12 hours!!! The entire day she had a smile on her face and is truly invested in her work. Unlike other photographers her turnaround times for edits was extremely fast, my husband and I had photos THAT NIGHT!!! Jennifer was an essential part of out wedding day and couldn't have imagined it without her! HIRE HER!!!!

THE BEST WEDDING PHOTOGRAPHER! It's hard to say what my favorite part of having Jen as our photographer was she is so incredibly nice and extremely knowledgeable. She first arrived just as excited as we were to get married and went straight to work shooting our detail photos, making sure to find the best lighting. From then on she continued to amaze me with BEAUTIFUL bridal portraits and group shots. Always making sure we felt comfortable in front of the camera. Ethan and I have such amazing pictures of us, our ceremony and reception. She goes above and beyond and is willing to help in any way to make your wedding day perfect. By the time she was ready to leave I felt as if I had gained a new friend. We were so lucky to have found her, please hire her for your wedding it was the best decision we made! :)

Jennifer was everything we could’ve asked for in a photographer and more. She made us feel so comfortable in front of the camera from the very beginning, and having her there on our wedding day felt like having another friend with us. She is such an easy going, sweet person and I’m so happy we got to know her. She was open to all of the ideas we had for our photos and they came out even prettier than we could’ve imagined! She helped with every little thing to make sure our day was perfect and she was definitely one of the best decisions we made. Jen is THE person you want photographing your wedding. Not only is she an amazingly talented photographer with an unbelievable eye, she is also this calming force who will make you feel like anything and everything will happen on your wedding day. Our engagement shoot and wedding photos look like they came out of a magazine. They look exactly like the inspiration photos you find yourself in awe of. Throughout the entire process she was always so easy to communicate with - she made great recommendations (like for instance our site didn’t have great photo options so Jen - after checking out the site herself - let us know and suggested a gorgeous alternate location). Anything we asked her in advance she always made us feel like it was “no problem!” Day of she arrived early, she came with her whole kit ready to go, knew exactly how the day had to go and got it done in a way that felt seamless even when the day was not going as planned due to bride & bridesmaids wardrobe malfunctions - a side note: a button on my dress fell off and SHE sewed it back on. She’s literally a jack of all trades. 12 hours after the wedding, Jen had already sent us 70 fully edited beautiful wedding photos - everyone asked us how we had those photos already and our answer was “our photographer is a magician”. We went into the wedding day knowing we were in good hands with Jen. She is so professional, fun, supportive & amazing at what she does. She’s the person you want with you on your wedding day and capturing the images you’ll look at to remember the day.

It is honestly a long time coming and definitely wish I wrote this sooner, but ya know those weeks and months after your wedding get very busy and hectic. Anyways, I would be remiss not to mention how absolutely amazing it was having Jen as my photographer at my wedding as well as for my engagement pictures. Every single picture is what I always dreamed of and I could not have been any happier with my decision of using Jen as my photographer. My entire wedding day was an extremely smooth process due to Jen’s professionalism and her personality. Everyone including my family and bridesmaids were absolutely smitten with Jen and let me tell you, we get so many compliments on our wedding pictures. It was definitely one less stress for me having Jen there all day as she had truly made me feel at ease from the moment we met!
