Jennifer and Steven were absolutely incredible photographers! We could not have asked for a better pair for our big day. They made both me and my husband feel so comfortable and helped navigate my tricky divorced parents situation. The photos are absolutely stunning, they were able to quickly make a beautiful composition and it was amazing. Jennifer worked with us ahead of time to work with our budget, get ideas about what we wanted, and the general look and feel of the pictures. Afterwards the pictures even came early from their expected date and they blew me away. I loved working with them and would hire them ten times over for any and all photo needs.

Jennifer and her team do fantastic work. Her pricing is extremely transparent, she is a great value with an extra shooter, and I especially appreciated her flexibility with taking out and adding in features based on our priorities. Jennifer and her team were so easy to communicate with. She made us feel so calm and at ease during the day. She posed us so naturally and captured such intimate moments without making us feel posed or awkward. She captured all the important family and group photos we wanted despite the large size of our wedding party and family. Furthermore, she got all of the photos back to us quickly and we were especially impressed with how beautifully she captured the lighting on all of our outdoor photos. Their videography services were an added surprise and captured all the memories we wanted so perfectly. Would highly recommend her to any friends or family!

We found Jennifer through our venue at MemChu and we're sooo happy to have worked with her for our engagement and wedding photos. Our ceremony venue had a ton of rules, but Jennifer and Steve navigated the space and the day like pros. Together, they made us feel so comfortable on our wedding day and really accommodated us and our huge guest list. From our engagement shoot to our wedding day, Jen (the owner) was incredibly professional and knowledgeable while still keeping things fun and comfortable. My husband and I are normally pretty awkward in front of the camera but with Jen’s guidance we felt completely at ease and got a ton of amazing shots in the process! We really appreciated the mix of both posed and candid photos that Jen and her assistant took during our wedding and feel like the photo gallery we received perfectly captured the vibe and emotion of our special day! Jennifer was amazing! From initial conversations to receiving the wedding photos. She was very communicative and punctual. She got us our wedding photos back in the estimated timeline and they are beautiful! The day of the wedding she did great in helping us remain relaxed. As two people who had never taken professional photos before, I was afraid we'd look robotic. Thankfully, none of the photos look like that. Jennifer and Zack were so personable and it really helped loosen us up and making our photos look natural. They also made sure to keep us on the schedule we set. We planned too many family photos and had to some variations out on the fly to get our golden hour couple and individual shots done. I'd highly recommend!

Hubs and I used Jennifer’s photography services per the recommendation from a friend that also used her for their wedding. The photos turned out beautifully (as we like her style). Not only were the photos great but the customer service is superb. I remember Jennifer running around to get my flowers that were misplaced so we could use them for the photos and working with us on budget, timeline etc. And her partner Steven is great of course! I highly recommend the duo for your photography needs.

We worked with Jennifer for our engagement photos and our wedding photos. She made us feel super comfortable during our engagement shoot & we ended up having so much fun! Also the photos came out beautiful! Due to the pandemic, we ended up having to postpone our original wedding date but Jennifer was so great about rescheduling for our new wedding ceremony date. We now have three sets of photos from her (engagement, wedding ceremony & wedding reception) and they are all amazing & beautiful!

Jen and her husband Steve were absolutely wonderful and produced ~1000 gorgeous photos for us. They were fun friendly and flexible on the day of the wedding and got us so many amazing shots, from couples photos to formal wedding party images to candid pictures of all our guests. You can feel the vibe of the venue and the atmosphere in their photos and we couldn’t be happier with the images we’ll enjoy for the rest of our lives. We could not have hired a better Photography and Videography Duo for our Wedding! Jennifer and Steven are fantastic! I first met them when they were the Photographer and Videographer at my Best Friend’s Wedding where I was a Bridesmaid and knew that I needed to hire them for our Wedding after working with them that day and seeing the Wedding Photos. They were incredible! We hired them back in 2019 for our 2020 Wedding which of course got postponed, and then got postponed again, and again until this year 2022. They were so very kind and understanding while working with us through the many changes of the Covid pandemic and multiple re-scheduling's. It truly meant the world to us that they worked with us all those years and were so accommodating. When the day of our Wedding FINALLY came Jennifer and Steven were just excellent! They had such good attitudes and were so fun and easy to work with. Our photos are stunning and we have gotten so many compliments from family and friends on how good the photos came out. The highlight video is also fantastic, it really captured all of the love and fun of the day and let our personality’s really show through. So go Book them for your Event! Can't brag enough about Jennifer Mihalyi Photography. Our experience was outstanding and the photographs were just beautiful. Jennifer and her team are so easy to work with and she perfectly captured my daughter's wedding. Absolutely loved Jennifer and Steve! It took me a while to write about this place because it was kind of hard to put into words something I felt so strongly about. My wedding was the time of my life and its so nice to have such a great photographer and videographer to capture the moments. For people who like to hike and the outdoors. We asked Jennifer to do our engagement photo shoot in Tahoe with our husky. First off, her travel fee was way cheaper than everyone else which was a huge plus. And she was ok with traveling that distance (about 4 hours). Its important for us to capture the essence of who we are as a couple and what we like to do together and she totally got that. For the wedding. Man she captured so many great moments of everyone having a great time and the smiles on their faces just brought me so much joy looking over them again and again. I've looked at other people albums and for me specifically as a person who loves to capture the essence of the moment, I wouldn't chose anybody else. She's such a professional, but at the same time she totally understood the vibe of my wedding party. We just like to goof around and enjoy ourselves and she totally got the vibe and just made it so fun to take our pictures. And lastly, I personally recommend getting the VIDEO package with her. I personally didn't want to spend the money but man was I wrong. It SO WORTH IT. Its one of the biggest moments of your life so its important to capture it all. Working with Steve was so great. Again it was so fun working with both Steve and Jennifer together. The way they were able to capture the fun moments and the serious ones in video and photo were just so hard to describe in words. Man I just looked over the highlight reel and photo album like 20 times in the past 2 days just taking in the moment again and again. Your wedding goes by so fast you cant possibly take in every detail so it was so nice to watch the video...go back to the photo gallery...go back to the video lol. Just simply amazing! Thank you guys so much! From the top, the bottom and my whole heart I cant thank you enough for being there to capture the moment. HIRE! HIRE! HIRE!

Jennifer did our engagement shoot as well as our wedding. 10/10 recommend having her do that as well as the wedding. She is so friendly and makes some of the more cliche/awkward photos fun. She is also great at catching those perfect candid moments. Those are some of my favorite photos. Could not recommend her enough for the wedding day especially! If you take anything away from this its to hire her for your wedding! Everyone before our wedding gave us the same advice, "try and enjoy the little moments because you are going to be so busy taking pictures and being pulled here and there, you won't have a lot of down time to enjoy your wedding." ... Well I can tell you between her and her partner, they were masters of using the time we had wisely. By the time it was dinner we had all of our couple/ family/bridesmaid/groomsmen photos done! and we didn't feel rushed through any of it. We ended up with hours of freedom to actually enjoy our wedding and the pictures of dancing and getting to talk to everyone I will cherish forever. This will be the last time any of my grandparents will get to be together and there are so many pics of all of them dancing and smiling etc. The pictures they capture are truly magical. Just book her! I promise you won't regret it!!!

Wow - I could not have asked for a better experience with photographers during our wedding day. Jennifer and Steve were incredibly fun and easy to work with. I am personally very stiff in front of cameras, but they made the experience relaxing. They were funny, energetic, and, honestly, may have made the wedding even smoother than it would have been without them. They really captured our style and everything. It's easy to say that the photos turned out beautifully. They are colorful and bright without being washed out. Jennifer and Steven are amazing! They had taken wedding photos for my sister-in-law and when I saw the photos my sister-in-law received, I knew I needed Jennifer and Steven for my wedding. They did not disappoint. Jennifer and Steven are so friendly and make the experience so much fun. We HIGHLY recommend booking Jen for your wedding. We ended up working with her over the past two years (Covid postponement) and she continued to make the wedding process so fun and enjoyable for us. Communication with her was quick and easy. She was respectful of what we wanted and gave great guidance/tips. She is extremely professional and great at what she does. I cannot stop looking over our photos. We decided to book her for video as well and have zero regrets. Steven and Jen make a great team! They had us laughing and having a great time while the girls were getting ready the morning of the wedding. We just received back our wedding video and are so overwhelmed with happiness. Being able to look back and see all the captured moments is a gift that we will never forget.

Jennifer and Steven were so great to work with! We had great chemistry from the start as we connected over coffee and discussing our love for boba. My husband and I really didn't know what to expect, nor did we have a shots list for Jennifer. Even so, she did an amazing job in providing us with direction and got a perfect assortment of photos that best reflected our big day. When the photos finally came out, it was truly a time machine experience and we got to re-live the whole day over just by looking at the pictures. The duo aspect that Jennifer and Steven provided was perfect. They were able to capture several shots of our guests without jeopardizing moments with the bridal party or ourselves. If given the opportunity for any other special events, I would definitely contact Jennifer again!

Jennifer and Steven were a pleasure to work with! From a venue/coordination stand-point, it's always beneficial to have photographers who are always ready to go, flexible, and who take initiative. Jennifer is a gem! From the beginning of the process to the end, we loved her organization, enthusiasm, and skills! Prior to booking her, we had a brief chat over the phone, then met in person. We had our engagement shots with her too. Prior to the wedding, we talked through the day-of schedule in detail and she even reminded us that we hadn't scheduled time for couples shots or first look! (Thank goodness she caught that minor detail.) Her style of editing is timeless, so we know years down the road when we look back, we will still cherish the photos. We also rented a photobooth from her and our guests loved it - props and prints were provided and it's self-operated. On our wedding day, she found perfect opportunities for my now husband and I to escape for a few shots. Her second shooter on our wedding day was her husband and they both were amazingly fun to work with! It felt like old friends helping us out! 10/10 would recommend Jennifer.

We are so happy we chose Jennifer as our photographer. We did an engagement shoot, photobooth, and wedding photos with her and got an amazing mix of posed (that look natural) and candid photos. She was very professional, talented, and great to work with. We received so many compliments on how magical our engagement and wedding looked! Jennifer was amazing at capturing our wedding. She gave us all the photos she took and both our families were absolutely stunned. She truly captured every detail during our Hindu ceremony. She also helped me coordinate my engagement shoot with my makeup trial and gave us some location suggestions. The photo booth was an excellent addition to our reception as family and friends received a printout copy and we were able to receive digitals of all the funny pics. Jennifer and her assistant were amazing the day of our wedding. They were very patient with us. There was a great balance of letting me and my husband and our wedding party do our own thing vs fun pre-posed shots. I felt that they weren’t just there to work, they really supported us and even gave us some of their snacks on our after shots so we wouldn’t starve before dinner. They also helped us gather our guests for group shots when we we needed it! The pictures were so amazing, and really caught our wedding, and our friends and family in the “best light”. We highly recommend Jennifer for all your occasions you want to capture!

I picked Jennifer after looking through hundreds of wedding photographers' portfolios (as a photog myself, this aspect of my wedding what what I was pickiest about). Her style really caught my eye, and we couldn't be happier with the end result—the photos are gorgeous! We didn't do an engagement session, and because of travel didn't have a chance to meet Jennifer in person before our wedding, but she and Steven showed up at our venue and just fit right in. They are true professionals and make you feel at ease while capturing everything smoothly and having a lot of fun! And the end result showed that Jennifer really listened to what I'd tried to communicate regarding what style and shots were important for us to have from our wedding day. Definitely a set of photos we'll treasure forever.

Jennifer was amazing! She did our engagement photos, our wedding photos, and managed our photo booth and we were thrilled with ALL of them! Her partner Steven also put together a super personal and fun wedding video for us. She was very easy-going and fun to work with. She made some awkward situations (i.e. kissing photos, serious photos, chaotic family photos) easy. The photos were beautiful! I got so many compliments on my photos and how professional and beautiful they looked. Jennifer really is a pro and all of her photos were amazing. From our vows, to our posed photos, to the amazing candid photos of our guests...they were perfect! The wedding pictures took a little while to get back (8 weeks), but I think this is true for most detail- oriented photographers. Overall, we were very happy with how our photos turned out...they are a treasure from our day. Thank you Jennifer!

Would definitely recommend Jennifer, Steven, and their whole crew! I spent so many hours looking for that special photographer who would be able to capture the precious moments of our wedding day - and Jennifer was just who we were looking for. Her style is absolutely beautiful. And she & the team did a stunning job of capturing not only our big moments but also the small details that bring us back to the day itself. We booked them to do our engagement and wedding photography, and ended up going with them for videography and the wedding photobooth as well. The fact that Jennifer and Steven were a one-stop shop for our photography/videography made it that much more convenient for us while having to coordinate with other vendors for the wedding. Our photo & video sessions were great - Jennifer and Steven made us feel comfortable, a great feat considering my husband & I are really camera shy. Throughout the wedding day they found all the important places to be, and got to all the parts of the wedding we weren't able to see ourselves, while somehow remaining invisible as it all unfolded. We got a ton of compliments from our guests about how fun the photobooth was as well - professional lighting and high res photos and horse mask props and all. Now that it's all done, we are way beyond happy with the way Jennifer & Steven captured one of the best days of our lives. And they made us really good-looking too! We'll definitely be flipping through the photos and re-watching the video over and over again for years to come!

Jennifer is hands down the best photographer I’ve ever had the pleasure of working with. The fun creative atmosphere she and her team create helps put magic in the air. My bride and I always felt comfortable like we were with friends, and sometimes we vanished to our own world. The photos that we received were raves about by family and friends. They were just what we had imagined and hoped for.

I first met Jennifer while working in San Francisco. When I first saw her photos, I said "Whenever I get married, expect a call". A few years later, she got the call! She did both our engagement photos in San Francisco and our Wedding in L.A. She and her photos are beyond what I can describe. Not only did the photos live up to every dream I had for our engagement and wedding, but she makes the experience so wonderful. Her and Steven are so fun, so creative, so imaginative! They understood our every vision, they made us feel comfortable and made us look beautiful! It is really hard as a photographer to capture the essence of a couple, or even the personality of individuals but they do it with ease! I could not ask for more. Some of her perks make the experience even better! The engraved thumbdrive and the photobooth were so amazing and our guests had so much fun. AHH! I just cant thank her or recommend her enough! Thank you Jen and Steven! Now you should be expecting a call for whenever we have our first child...see you then! :)

We loved working with Jennifer and her videographer, Steven! They were a perfect team to our perfect day. My now husband and I only hoped for a handful of good photos and decent video to watch, but when we received our wedding photos (and engagements, too) and videos, we were blown away! We had difficult time selecting our favorites, but managed to narrow it down to about 100 - haha. Great problem to have! I love photography, and looked at 50 different photographers at different price points when I was looking for our wedding photographers. First thing I eliminated were photographers that heavily edited or used heavy filters. I wanted as much of natural lighting as possible. I found that a lot of photographers in the industry heavily edited and that was not something I was in to. It takes talent to get the picture right vs using editing programs. But Photographers that knew how to use natural lights with minimum editing were priced well above our price point. When I found Jennifer, I couldn't believe the quality of her work for the price she charged! Jennifer and her team were well worth our investment, and will be looking through our pictures and video for years to come!! Couple things I wish I had considered before the night. Jennifer asked me if I wanted her to focus on anything during the reception, and I told her no. I wished I had asked her to take photos of each tables! Unfortunately, a lot of my out of town guests were not in the photos we got back. This is my biggest regret and mistake on my part. Another thing is that we spent so much time taking photos that we didn't get to enjoy the cocktail hour with our guests. I wish we cut down the time spent with photographers after the ceremony to celebrate with our friends and family that traveled from afar (60% of guests). These were not reflection of Jennifer, but tips to next bride!

Jennifer, Steven and their entire crew were nothing short of amazing! We absolutely love our photos and videos from our wedding. My husband and I chose Jennifer based on the photos on her website- it matched our flavor to a tee- not heavily edited or too posed (mostly because we feel so awkward posing ourselves) and her candids were beautiful! We initially weren't going to go for the video but were sold as soon as we saw some of the videos they had previously done. Cut to the the day of our wedding- the whole crew showed up and made our entire wedding party feel comfortable. Throughout the reception I had completely forgotten they were even there getting footage and snapping pics. When we got our photos and videos we were so happy with the result. Jen shipped our photos on a personalized USB (I know usb's aren't typically the most fabulous item, but this USB was fab!) and in the cutest packaging. And our video- one thing we definitely added as a last member minute splurge- was so worth it! The moments Steven and crew captured, along the amazing editing definitely brought back all of the feels we had on our wedding day. Needless to say, I'm so grateful that one of our friends recommended Jen to us!

Jennifer was FANTASTIC!! My fiance and I decided to hold our engagement photo session in San Francisco (his hometown). We live in Virginia so I knew we needed someone reliable since we were traveling from so far. I found Jennifer on Pinterest and immediately reached out to her. She replied fairly quick and asked if we could have a quick phone call to go over some details. After the phone conversation we knew we wanted to have our engagement photos taken by her and we did not regret one bit! Jennifer was understandable, reliable and very professional. She gave us suggestions on locations and the pictures came out AMAZING! We got a lot of compliments from friends and family on our engagement pictures. We definitely recommend Jennifer as an engagement photographer and even for weddings as I am sure she will do the best!

My fiancé and I loved working with Jennifer and would recommend her to anyone in the Bay Area. She was prompt when responding to any questions we had and made us feel comfortable during our 2 hour shoot. We received over 100 digital photos in less than two weeks. We will definitely use her services again in the future!

Jennifer was super to work with! She was very responsive, flexible with our ever-changing dates, and on-time with every shooting we had. Jennifer's photos were great and we got our photos back SUPER SUPER quickly...much quicker than my other friends who had also gotten married this year. We went with her bundled package that included engagement session, guest sign in book, wedding day of with a 2nd shooter, and wedding book with USB of the final photos. Great package! Our only regret is not adding the video as well. Steven seems super talented and is super fun also.

The best advice I received when planning my wedding was to invest in a really great photographer. These are memories that you will cherish for the rest of your life and Jennifer has a beautiful talent for capturing the spirit of such a special occasion. I can not even express how incredible it feels to look through the photos from my wedding day- they tell our story so well! The turnaround time for viewing proofs is impressive too! She gets them up in an online gallery that is very easy for everyone to navigate. I enjoy working with Jennifer and have now transitioned her into our family photographer! We love booking sessions in our favorite locations all over the bay to capture all the milestones in our lives. Needless to say, it was very important to us to find a referral from someone that we trusted but also because we were able to view their work beforehand and it was exactly what we were looking for. Jennifer and Steven were great to work with and their work is absolutely amazing. They spoke with us beforehand to get a good idea of the themes we wanted to capture, and were warm, supportive, and responsive throughout the entire planning process. Immediately upon arrival Jennifer and Steven, along with their assistants, got to work setting up while staying very professional and also easy to work with. They spent the day capturing all the beautiful moments that usually go unnoticed by the untrained eye. Because we had viewed their work prior to the wedding, we trusted that we did not have to worry that moments were being missed. When we received our package of DVD's of the photography, highlight video reel, and full video, we were blown away. Jennifer's photography carries the right mix of artistry and craftsmanship and she and her assistants made use of the space, light, and subjects in such a beautiful way. She offers a "Signature Look" for a selection of portraits of the bride and groom and they look like something from a magazine. The highlight video was like watching the preview to a movie about a wedding. It was so artistic, and the full video was like watching a professional movie of our wedding. Steven's attention to detail in the nuances of the film were spot on and both films were exquisite. Aside from that, both films were so fun to watch as Steven paid special attention to the small details of editing and music and our friends and family have all enjoyed watching the DVD's. The final product is also presented in a lovely leather box and the DVDs are laser engraved with photos of the bride and groom which was a very nice touch. We cannot say enough good things about Jennifer and Steven, from the beginning of booking them for the wedding to the final product. We now have memories that will last forever.
