s we were trying to reorganize everything in less than 48 hours. She was so reassuring. She showed up, with the second shooter still, with an INCREDIBLY positive and professional attitude. She was a ROCK in a time of INSANITY for us and seeing her the morning of the wedding was a breath of fresh air. If that wasn't enough, our reception got canceled because of my positive COVIDness. Jen was willing to rework with us and bend over BACKWARDS to help ensure we got the best value for our dollar and the most memorable wedding photography. Because of her willingness to work with us, we have a COMPLETE wedding album with SO MANY fabulous pictures and we couldn't be happier! Receiving our images really helped make both days "feel" like they were different days but part of the same celebration. In many ways, her participation, positivity, and professionalism helped us have "closure" on a rather traumatic life event and also turn that into something so so beautiful that we always treasure. In other words, somehow, she helped COVID make a wedding day(s) MORE special. She was absolutely incredible from the first time I met her at at bridal show. From there, our first conversations were easy and crazy to work with my insane work schedule. Communication was simple and done in the manner that worked best for my husband and I. Jen also worked with our personal desires and wants for what our images would be. For us, it was very important that our dog was in our engagement and wedding images as well as our kitty. She helped us come up with creative ways to (safely) have a cat around a wedding gown and have muddy paws around white fabric. Not only that, but she worked so well with our families (which are French and Italian so you can imagine the chaos of wrangling that). My mother, who is not easy to impress, thought Jen was fantastic and that she put the couple first during the wedding celebration which is always the most important. I know our experience was very unique, but Jen at this point, feels more like a member of our family than just a photographer. My husband and I consider her and her family now personal friends and we can't wait to continue to be in touch and hire her again in a few years (God willing!) when babies come around :). If you want memories taking pictures that are as incredible as the moment itself, a personal relationship with your photographer, ease and comfort with scheduling and communication, and literally zero stress about photography for your occasion - HIRE HER. I promise you will get the most incredible experience and the most wonderful memories.
