About this vendor
Welcome!
I'm so thrilled to have the opportunity to talk with you about one of the most amazing days of your life! I consider it a great honor when someone inquiries about my services and then entrusts me to capture the details, intimate moments, and portraits that will hang on your walls for generations to come. I don't take lightly the job that is entrusted to me, and the investment you're making not just for your wedding day, but for your marriage after the wedding day.
The best part of my job is getting to know my couples. Having a client turn into a friend is such a gift, and I love meeting new couples and hearing the story of how they fell in love.
Send me a note if you'd like to chat more! We can meet up over a margarita or cupcake...whatever your vibe is.
Jenny B.

her with huge life changes happening to both of us), to the see you laters at the end of my wedding night (as we couldn’t bring ourselves to say goodbye). We could not have asked for a better photographer to capture our special day. Jenn showed genuine interest in our ideas and vision and made us feel comfortable and excited. She was so easy to work with; lighthearted, positive and fully invested in our day. Her support during the day was unmatched.
By the end of the process, it felt like my husband and I had made a new true friend. We are so grateful for the stunning photos she captured, and when we received the full album we were able to truly relive our dream day all over again. She was even able to capture photos with a story behind them, as well as some moments we didn’t even know about which was great to see! If you’re looking for a photographer who truly cares about your story and delivers AMAZING results, book Jenny ASAP.

aptured the moments of my wedding day and the emotions that went along with those moments. Jenny exceeded my expectations in every way. She took intimate photos that made us look effortlessly gorgeous.
She is the perfect balance of artistic and practical. She lets her imagination and keen eye for beauty shine when shooting, but she is also timely, considerate, and understands all the background work that goes into making a wedding perfect. She recommends vendors, helps choose the perfect locations for engagement and wedding photographs, and develops wedding day timelines. She listened to our ideas while also encouraging us to trust her and try new things. She is thoughtful in her preparation for the wedding day, and this let me relax and trust her process.
On the actual wedding day she blended into the wedding party seamlessly. She encouraged everyone to be comfortable and she made everyone excited to be in front of the camera. My groom loved being in front of the camera and she made him feel great about himself. She went above and beyond all day, and then after, she delivered the final photos in only 2 weeks!
We would recommend Jenny to anyone without hesitation!
Jenny was an absolute dream to work with and we still can’t believe how perfectly she captured our special day! As with any vendor for your wedding day, it is a difficult decision....
Photography was especially important to us because at the end of the day some of life’s sweetest moments are captured in a picture. Jenny is incredibly talented and has a true eye for photography. She made us feel like naturals in front of the camera and was such a joy to work with. Jenny is incredibly organized and made us feel at ease when it comes to making sure all of the little moments on such a big day are captured. From the moment she arrived on our wedding day, until we left the reception as newlyweds, Jenny was working hard to get every single detail just right and it shows in her work. It is such a gift to have such stunning photography to remember your special day and it is something we will cherish forever. I would highly recommend Jenny to capture your special day!
Jenny took the hottest day of the year in D.C. and handled it in stride and with such grace! She was efficient and truly made taking pictures an absolute breeze! And my goodness.. ...
the PICTURES! I don’t think I’ve ever seen more beautiful wedding photos! She truly captured the love of the bride and groom and the pure joy and celebration of the wedding! I keep telling everyone that I wish I could relive the amazingness of the party, but now I feel like I get to through the pictures. She captured it perfectly. But what I appreciated most was how much she cared about all of us, especially the bride and groom! I met her the morning of the wedding, and she felt like a friend by the end of the day! Truly the most genuine and talented wedding photographer! I’m so thankful to have met her, and I was just the MOH!!

nstantly felt connected to her through her sincere friendliness and her genuine interest in our story. Our engagement pictures were part of our package and I was so incredibly impressed with how they came out - we received so many compliments on just those shots alone! She also helped and gave input on our wedding day timeline , which was so important and vital when it comes to planning. When it came to our wedding day, the weather took a bad turn and many of the visions we had planned out had to be rearranged and reworked. Jenny and her assistants did an amazing job working through the craziness of the day and finding new locations and ways to still get amazing pictures in the rain. She makes the use of an umbrella look oh so romantic! Despite things not going to plan, as events tend to do, the pictures came out amazing and she was a true professional the whole time. A true testament to her talent. We are so grateful that she captured our wedding day and can not say enough great things about her. Pictures last forever and are often what you look back on years later. They should be beautiful and timeless, which is exactly what you'll get with Jenny.

tures, but boy, I am so glad Jenny convinced us to do them. She made two people, who often feel awkward in front of the camera, so comfortable. She talked to us as she went, giving recommendations for poses. Even more, she gave us a boost of confidence by commenting on how well we were doing. And the pictures - stunning! No need to look any further for your photographer! Thank you Jenny for everything :)

ivered the most beautiful pictures. Not only is she talented, she's timely, professional and so awesome that you'll want to be her friend when its all said and done. We couldn't be more pleased with Jenny's work and will treasure the photos forever.
With all the craziness that comes with wedding planning, it was such a blessing to have found Jenny. I literally found her after firing my initial photographer and in the mist of ...
panicking, Jenny was a gift from heaven after hours of research! She was so quick and responsive to all my emails, I never had to question her if she would be the right one to capture my day.
She made Danny and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera, I forgot she was there sometimes! She really took the time to get to know me. That was really important to me, I wanted someone to capture "us" and not just take the typical wedding photos. She exceeded those expectations with our engagement photos and I cannot wait for our wedding photos. Not only did she show up on my wedding day more than an hour before she was set to come, she never stopped shooting until she was completely satisfied. You can tell Jenny is a professional and loves what she does.
I have wedding guests who cannot stop telling me how polite and great she was, but the quality of her work speaks for itself. I highly recommend Jenny to anyone who wants a photographer who will take the time to get to know you as a couple, is personable, professional, and delivers amazing product!
I know five stars are probobly considered unrealistic, but trust me when I say Jenny deserves every single one of them.

e (now husband) and I through the photography planning process, and went above and beyond to make sure we had captured all the special moments of our engagement shoot and wedding day. We felt listened to, she respected our budget, and we were confident that she would capture the spirit and fun of our wedding.
Neither my husband or I are crazy about getting our photos taken. But when we met at 6-something in the morning to take our engagement photos, we instantly felt at ease with her. She knew just how to guide and direct us in order to capture heartfelt, authentic, and intimate photographs. And We had so much fun taking our wedding pictures (take it from me, do the first look!)!
Our wedding photos were delivered to us within the range she specified, and came out beautifully. I also got lots of compliments from my other vendors about how easy she and her second shooter were to work with.
Can't really say enough good things!
Jenny was fantastic with Lauren and me! I usually do not enjoy taking pictures, and I was dreading the idea of "Engagement" pictures just thinking about having to pose over and ove...
r, but Jenny made it easy.
With two different locations we picked out, Jenny did a great job of making it fun and very natural feeling so it didn't seem like we were posing all the time. She even did a great job of including our puppy and kitty into some of the pictures.
I would 100% recommend Jenny for any occasion and if we were getting married in the DC area we would definitely have used her again.

sion and graciously directed through the whole shoot. When we got the proofs back we were BLOWN AWAY by her ability to capture who we really are as a couple. The pictures were beautiful and natural- just the look we were going for...she nailed it!
Dear brides and groom's to be, your search for a photographer is over. Seriously picking Jenny to do your engagement session and/or wedding pictures is one of the best decisions yo...
u will make. Not only is her work STUNNING, but she is an ABSOLUTE delight to work with. To be honest, at first we were a bit nervous to do our engagement session because we didn't want the pictures to look posed, but at the same time we had no idea of what to do for our photos. Jenny stepped in quickly to make us feel very comfortable and natural while taking our pictures. We laughed a lot, shared a ton of stories and the whole session ended up being quite a lot of fun! She really takes the time to get to know the couple and ensure the pictures resemble the people she is photographing. We are so happy to have worked with her and we would choose her again in a second!

We found Jenny thru a family member after our original photographer cancelled on us. We couldn't be happier that he cancelled! Jenny did a great job and made us feel so comfortable...
in front of the camera. And our pictures are perfect.
Jenny B did our engagement photos and she was great! Very professional and helpful. The turn around was quick and the quality was great!
My husband and I hired Jenny as one of our photographers for our wedding day. Working with Jenny was an absolute joy! She was so sweet and friendly and has such an amazing eye for ...
taking photos and capturing the intimate details and emotions of our special day. She made us and our bridal party feel so comfortable with being in front of the camera and was really patient with all of us, even though it was over 100 degrees outside! We are so happy with our wedding album and we now have so many wonderful photos and memories to share with our friends and family. Thank you, Jenny for all of your hard work and for making us look great! We truly appreciate everything you did to make our wedding day special!
Jenny was AMAZING!!!!! In so many ways. She captured all of our moments. She was everywhere but somehow out of sight! (She's a ninja) But seriously, we loved our images and Jenny...
was wonderful to work with. She was creative and gave good directions but was also efficient and flexible. The pictures themselves couldn't be more perfect for us. She captured all the details and the quality of the images was superb.
Jenny photographed our wedding and I cannot say enough about how happy we were with her work. She went far above our expectations! She not only produced pristine traditional shots ...
but also has the ability to capture great candid moments. She is very responsive, flexible, and open to suggestions, too. For example, we had planned to do a wedding party shoot in Old Town Alexandria, but it was incredibly hot and humid the day of our wedding. She came up with a great alternative location to shoot under the Woodrow Wilson Bridge in Jones Point Park and the pictures turned out beautifully; we had shade and a nice breeze the whole time, and the lighting was perfect! Jenny did a truly fantastic job and we couldn't be happier with her work!

ofessionalism and skill. We are so grateful for all the wonderful images she captured for us, our friends, and family! I appreciated the time she spent to edit so many final photos for us as well. We will cherish them forever! We're so glad we chose Jenny B Photography to document our special day!
