your wedding. Looking through our wedding photos over the last 3 months I am instantly brought back to the smell of the salty air, I can feel the sun on my face, and I can remember exactly how I felt. Jenny has an insane ability to bring out the VERY best in a couple. We seriously had so much fun with her and she made the photography aspect of our big day a huge highlight. She allowed and encouraged us to be silly, playful, passionate and she has little tricks that really pull it out of you, even if you aren't so comfortable in front of the camera. (we hadn't ever taken photos together before with a photographer! Nothing like added pressure on our wedding day!) Not to mention, she and her second shooter put up with both our families and friends for an entire week as they agreed to cruise with our families (we got married in one of the ports of call) - I feel like I walked away from our wedding with 2 more friends. They were involved the entire week. I know my now husband and I are so grateful Jenny was our photographer. The images and moments we now have forever are all because of her. And I know 100% that if she hadn't been our photographer, we would have gotten generic: hold hands and pose. Look at each other and pose. Boo. I hate those kinds of photos! They are so stick figure like and inorganic. Every aspect of Jenny's photos are ORGANIC! They are true, real moments in time that are created, captured, and shared. I would also like to say that EVERY SINGLE PERSON I have shown our wedding photos to has said very close to the same thing "holy crap, these photos are amazing! Your photography did an incredible job!" I think that speaks volumes to Jenny's ability and passion for photography. We could not be more happy with her work! BRAVO! Hire this chick! d our actual wedding photos. Of all the decisions we had to make surrounding our wedding, she was by far the best one we made. She got to know us (as a couple and individually), we created a Pinterest board to share ideas, and she was always just a phone call, email, or text away if we had questions. She also LOVES dogs, so that’s a huge bonus for us. We had our four dogs in our engagement photos and two of them at the wedding. She was 100% comfortable with them, and actually got them to (somehow?) act like socially acceptable creatures. Jenny genuinely cares about her clients, and I’m so happy to say we’ve become friends. She’s not big on photo shopping, instead focusing on the things that make us, “us”. Smile lines, freckles, wrinkles, funny faces...she embraces it all. The finished product? A collection of photos that reflects your true, beautiful self. There is nothing fake about her work. I don’t know how she did it, but she was able to capture the goofy love my husband and I have for each other- anyone looking at the photos can feel it. We laugh together all the time, and our photos reflect that. They aren’t staged, so it feels almost like there’s movement in the pictures. I’m not sure if that makes sense, but it’s the only way I can describe it. She will do whatever it takes to get the perfect shot...this includes rolling around in the grass (both on our property and in public during my bridals), almost falling off our dock into the pond, standing on slippery rocks to get a waterfall shot, and saying the funniest, most ridiculous things to get you to loosen up. We love Jenny so incredibly much. When we adopt children, we can’t wait to have her take photos of our family because we know those will turn out just as amazing as the ones capturing our love when it was just the two of us.
