Jenny Flora Photography was recommended to us from another photographer and ended up being a great fit! She was very responsive with emails, and helped us find the perfect mix of "light and airy" photos with the scenery we had hoped for! Highly recommend!

Jenny is Waterloo Village's preferred photographer and it's incredibly easy to see why! We researched so many photographers and were having a hard time finding a) ones that fit our style and b) were available for a not astronomical price. When we looked up Jenny's info, we were immediately excited by how clean, bright, and airy her photos are. She definitely did not disappoint for our wedding either! Jenny was always communicative, helped us build our ideal shot list, and had a lot of good suggestions for how to make the most out of our time. Her experience with the venue was a huge boon here as we easily got all our traditional posed photos done with time to spare pre-ceremony, and she knew the perfect route to take us around the venue (which is huge and has so many photo opps). She and her assistant Nicolette are also just super nice and easy to be around which is exactly what you want on your wedding day. They never once made us feel awkward or forced. She turned around our highlights within a week which was an incredible surprise to get on our honeymoon and I love every single picture already. We definitely recommend Jenny!

Jenny is an absolute gem! We are so happy we found her to photograph our modern beach wedding at The Wave in Long Branch, NJ. Jenny has an amazing eye and took advantage of all the beautiful aspects of the venue allowing for a great variety of photos. And a good mix of candid and posed shots. It was so apparent that takes such pride in her work and loves the art, making us feel so comfortable and calm the entire time. She was a dream to work with. She did our engagement photo session, as well as our intimate wedding ceremony in April 2024. She was extremely thorough, and she captured so many amazing and beautiful pictures. Moreover, she was always on time and kind. Ahead of the big day, she also sent us a questionnaire & we had a phone call as well. I was really impressed that she took the time to ask who would be attending, and she made a list of attendee’s names & asked exactly who we wanted to have photos with. Jenny was incredible! She was the perfect fit for our wedding. I chose her from her reviews and her amazing photography style, I only FaceTimed her before the wedding (never met in person because we already had our engagement photos done) and she made my husband and I feel so comfortable in front of the camera immediately after meeting her. I’m pretty particular, and I LOVE someone who is as particular especially in their craft, and Jenny is ON TOP OF IT. If even a single hair was not where it should’ve been, or if your arm, leg, or anything could be moved to look better, she would notice it and adjust it before taking photos, so the photos came out AMAZINGGG!! She cares about the details and the little things that take photos from great to amazing. Jenny was incredible from the start--very informative and friendly in our initial conversation, and super responsive in the months before the wedding. Day-of, she braved the cold for our outdoor couple and wedding party shots, and did a fantastic job with family shots, as well as the ceremony and reception. What a wonderful experience it was while working with Jenny as we planned our wedding in 2020- 2021. We found Jenny through one of my husband's coworkers. We are so grateful to have found Jenny to do our engagement photo shoot and take photos for the day of our wedding. Hiring Jenny was the best decision we made in our [unexpectedly complicated] wedding planning journey. She photographed us at our official wedding back in 2020 when we had an intimate 7-person COVID ceremony. She took our “engagement photos” after we’d already been married for 11 months. And then she capped it all off by capturing our one year vow renewal complete with all your traditional wedding reception moments. Each time she absolutely nailed it. And she made us feel warm with love and optimism despite our wedding day being an unseasonable 35 degrees in a torrential downpour in May! When we first saw Jenny’s work we fell in love with her aesthetic and her eye for details. Then we spoke to her and she was friendly, knowledgeable, and flexible. We had our concerns with having our wedding during a pandemic. However, she made the process seamless. We are elated she was able to shoot our wedding. The pictures were everything we wanted. The difficulty is choosing our favorite ones because they’re so many great ones to chose from. We highly recommend her.

Jenny was an easy choice once we browsed her work. Even just scrolling through her IG, it is very clear that she not only takes beautiful pictures but has mastered capturing emotions and the mood. My husband and I planned our wedding in just two months, deciding we wanted to have a small family-only ceremony in October 2020. From our first phone call with Jenny at the end of August, I got a great, positive impression. Jenny's microwedding package was the perfect fit for what we were planning. Throughout the whole process, Jenny was so organized and professional. In particular, I really appreciated the thorough questionnaire that she sent us a few weeks before the wedding to square away details about what we were envisioning--and I especially appreciated the covid-safety section of her questionnaire, in which I was able to provide Jenny with particular measures we wanted her to take to keep our event safe. On the day of our wedding, Jenny was such a positive presence, and she maintained a safe distance from all our guests. And she noticed lots of great details that I hadn't even thought to ask her to photograph--like the handmade purse my mom had made for me, the buttons on the back of my dress, and my shoes. Jenny was a great choice for our small wedding!

Jenny truly captured the best moments of our wedding and cultivated a few which may not have happened without her direction. Simply put, Jenny is the perfect blend of professionalism with an artistic eye for details while setting a stage or capturing an unexpected moment. My husband and I hired Jenny to photograph our wedding on August 1st. We both felt so comfortable with Jenny it almost felt like she was a friend taking our pictures. She kept us on schedule and took all of the pictures that we wanted and then some. She was flexible when we had to change places for our couple pictures. We hired Jenny to shoot our wedding in November 2020, but unfortunately due to Covid we had to postpone to 2021. When we postponed our wedding due to COVID-19 and decided to do a small, intimate backyard wedding to honor our original date, we asked Jenny (really on a whim), if she would be able to take a few pictures for us. It was the best decision we could have ever made. Jenny was flexible and willing to do whatever we felt most comfortable with given the crazy circumstances we were dealing with. She took a small location and made it feel larger than life, achieving different vantage points and levels to integrate different aspects of our environment into our photographs. She used a telephoto lens to capture details without compromising our safety or comfort. And we fell in love with her kind and sweet personality. It felt more like she was an intended guest than our photographer. Overall, she exceeded our expectations in every single category. We are even more excited than before to have her shoot our postponed ceremony in 2021. We would recommend Jenny 10 times over for any event, but especially any sort of alternative celebration you may be planning due to the pandemic this year.
