Jenny GG has been an absolute joy to work with from day one. From our engagement photo shoots up to the day of our wedding we have felt seen, respected, and downright giddy to have her with us. Jenny captures the most beautiful and sentimental moments in photographs that will last a lifetime. Our friends and families are still stunned by our engagement photos. Most importantly, we both felt comfortable every step of the way – and it shows! Jenny knows how to position couples of all different shapes and sizes, and rolls with whoever wants to be the “big spoon.” During our introductions she said her pronouns and checked back with us over a year later for potential updated pronouns. Jenny is inclusive, energetic, and incredibly positive. We had a blast with her every moment and would highly recommend her as a professional photographer.

Hiring Jenny was one of the best decisions we could make when we were planning our wedding. Jenny is genuine, she is great at getting you to be yourself, she understands how to get you (and your family and friends) to make minor adjustments to capture better photos. Her humor will keep you laughing throughout the day. And she has 12 years of experience under her belt that will be invaluable to you during your wedding day. My husband is an amateur photographer, so choosing a wedding photographer after we got engaged was far more important to him than it was to me. When he came across Jenny’s website, her wedding photos were exactly what he was looking for. After meeting with Jenny and realizing that here personality quickly put me at ease (and a glowing review from a friend telling me “Hire Jenny, you won’t regret it”) it was an easy decision to hire her. At that time, I didn’t realize how important this decision would be. As a couple, you spend the better part of 9-12 hours with your photographer on your wedding day as they will be capturing most of your interactions throughout the day. Jenny isn’t there to just check off the list of photos that you decided on in your pre-appointment, she genuinely cares about her clients and flexibly captures every moment. One of Jenny’s super powers is being able to anticipate people’s needs. Jenny recognized when I needed some time to recharge during family photos. I was overwhelmed by more opinions than I needed to hear. Jenny noticed it without me saying anything and was able to quickly change the schedule, capture a few photos without me, and deflect the rest of my family while I got a few peaceful moments to walk around and relax. This moment stood out to me because Jenny gave me time to collect myself so that the next photos wouldn’t show my feelings under a fake smile. Rather than pushing aside my emotions, Jenny made space for me and the results are spectacular. When we decided to get married, I knew that I wanted Jenny GG to photograph our wedding. I had unofficially hired her before we spoke to any other vendors. I would have moved my wedding date to ensure that Jenny would be our photographer. Jenny had taken family photos for us a couple of years before our wedding. And I knew from that moment on that she would be our forever photographer! Photos are often one of the most important parts of a wedding because they are the keepsakes people look fondly upon for years after the flowers have dried and the dress no longer fits. Finding a photographer that will capture your special moments without them feeling contrived, overly posed, or forced can be challenging. Jenny emphasizes a more organic, or natural approach, so your photos reveal real emotion and moments. I feel so lucky that Jenny photographed my wedding. I do not believe our day would have been as successful without her. Jenny has a wealth of wedding knowledge outside of photography. She gave us some welcome suggestions and advice with respect to other vendors, which we greatly appreciated. She also provided support when we ran into an issue with another one of our vendors, whom we cut ties with prior to our big day. On our wedding day, I felt relaxed in front of the camera thanks in part to Jenny. Apart from the first part of the day when we took couples and family photos, she worked from the sidelines. What I mean by this is that she was not intrusive and did not force herself into situations. And the finished product speaks for itself. Over 1,000 beautiful and honest photos, it is difficult to choose favorites! They're so good; I'm obsessed with all of them! A wedding requires so many decisions, all of which seem imperative. We could not be happier with our wedding photos. Our guests loved her and we can’t wait to have her photograph other events for us. I was super impressed with the extra time she put in getting to know us and talking through what kind of photos we wanted. She gave great tips to make us look our best and made everyone feel comfortable with the camera. We knew from the minute we met her that Jenny would be the perfect photographer for us. She combines a wonderful warmth and energy with serious professionalism, and we knew that we were in good hands right from the start. Both of us were nervous to be photographed for such a long time during the wedding, but she put us at ease and really brought us out of our shell. She helped us laugh during the engagement shoot and feel so much more comfortable with both her and the camera. She was very communicative and easy to contact with any questions or thoughts, and helped us work out details such as the day-of schedule which had been feeling overwhelming. During the wedding itself, we got tons of compliments from bridal party members, family, and guests about what a fun and talented photographer we had, and the pictures really speak for themselves. She edited them with care and returned them to us sooner than we had expected. We love Jenny and couldn't rate her high enough.

I'm going to do you a huge favor right now and just tell you: hire Jenny! She was the first wedding pro we hired and we have been nothing but thrilled with that decision. I'm rarely happy with how I look in pictures, but every shot Jenny took of us makes me smile (even the outtakes!) and I was so comfortable for both the engagement session and the wedding day. My husband and I obviously love her and my family and friends are still talking about how wonderful she was! She was amazing! Very fun to work with and has some great ideas for fun candid shots. She did our engagement photos and it ended up raining and they still turned out spectacular! She also worked great with our big dog and did a good job of getting his attention and getting some beautiful shots of our fur baby!

Jenny will make your wedding even more special, as she did ours. Her pictures are amazing, and capture the small moments and subtle emotions of the day. She moves seamlessly through the day, able to coordinate a crowd and keep them laughing, and she takes amazing photos to boot. She will be in the middle of the action, but without you even knowing that she is there. We just got our pictures back, and I can't believe how much she captured when I didn't even know that she was around. I'd get married again to have her take more pictures.

I've had the pleasure of working with Jenny several times, from other family weddings, to family photos. She was my first hire when planning our wedding. She is smart and funny. Jenny GG is AMAZING! If you have not booked a photographer yet and she has your wedding date open, book her now! From the moment I met her, I felt so comfortable and knew that I wanted her to be our photographer. She was very punctual and really just a fun, bubbly person. She makes you feel like you have known each other for years, even though you just met. She really is just the best! On the day of our wedding, she showed up on time and was ready to get to work! She kept to our timeline without making us feel rushed. After all of the family/bridal party pictures, I really didn't even know she was there. She's very ninja-like, which is such a great thing for a photographer. I have only seen a couple of the photos so far, but the ones that I have seen, are stunning! I can't say enough good things about Jenny GG. When my fiance and I first met Jenny we fell in love with her and her work. Over our few meetings she became like a close friend. I just recently received my gallery of photos that Jenny took at my wedding and WOW, they are amazing. I was really careful about choosing a photographer because I had a night wedding in a pretty dark venue, but Jenny did a great job and all the photos turned out gorgeous. The posed pictures were wonderful, but my favorites are the candids because she really captured the fun atmosphere. She also contributed to the all the fun, i will always have this image of Jenny spinning/jumping around on the dance floor getting everyone all pumped up while clicking away on her camera. She was also a great help throughout the day, she managed to keep me calm and happy. I would recommend Jenny to any bride and groom in a heartbeat.

Do you ever see a photograph of yourself and say, " Dang I look really good?" ...If Jenny photographs your wedding, get ready to say that A LOT!!! As someone who never thought of herself as "photogenic", hiring a wedding photographer to capture such a special day was something I was honestly dreading. All that dread diminished within one minute of meeting Jenny and seeing her work. Jenny has a way of capturing raw emotion and spontaneous moments, even when you feel like you are posing and are completely uncomfortable in front of the camera. She makes you feel at ease with her humor and infectious personality. She is, to say the least, PHENOMENAL.

We found the amazing Jenny GG after she photographed my friend's wedding in the summer of 2009. After we saw their photos, we knew exactly that we were hiring Jenny GG for our wedding. Jenny GG is one of the BEST choices we made when planning our wedding. Jenny GG and Jen are the dream photographer team. Working with them was absolutely amazing and an extreme pleasure. Jenny is a complete professional and so totally fun at the same time. She's responsive, thoughtful, and will remind you of everything you might forget to remember. I had a large wedding party and kind of a kooky family and she was able to work with them flawlessly to get all the photos we wanted. She always went above and beyond for everything. My husband is not a fan of getting his picture taken and Jenny was able to get amazing shots of us. She has a talent for making people feel comfortable and it definitely showed in our photos. Jenny was with us from 9 am until 11 pm (maybe longer) and she was on her game the entire time always with a smile. Jenny has an amazing eye for the photos she takes. It is an art and she has mastered it beautifully. She was able to the tell the story of our wedding day from start to finish. Also our guests just LOVED her (which doesn't surprise me). Jenny is the best photographer there is for your wedding, family, kids, boudoir, you name it! Not only is her work amazing, she is just a really cool gal and makes your time with her really fun! You truly can't do any better!

I contacted Jenny after reading raving reviews about her on the Knot, and instantly clicked with her. I let her know right away boudoir pictures were outside my comfort zone, but she instantly had me laughing. We spent several hours in her studio, and I have no idea how she actually made me relaxed! She is a true artist … and it shows in her pictures! I was in tears when I first saw the images … she made me look so beautiful and calm! Even better: my husband’s reaction when he opened the gift … he loved them!

We were first inspired to consider Jenny GG when we saw her blog. Her pictures seemed to really capture the people and the moment better than any other photographers we saw. We loved Jenny the moment we met her. Super sweet and fun. We chose a package that included an engagment session and I am so glad we did. They didn't look posed or stiff. My dad actually teared up when he saw the pics and said how you could tell how much we loved each other.
