It was such a hectic day but her calming demeanor made taking photos so effortless - it didn't matter if we were pressed for time, or if we were getting soaked in the storm (or almost falling off a rocky boat during the engagement photos) --- she always kept her cool and consistently reminded us we needed to enjoy the moment. (Thank god for the Eskimo kiss lesson from the engagement session!)
Her professionalism is bar none!
I know rain is supposed to signify good luck but having rain on our wedding day completely threw everything off for us. Jenny made sure we got pictures from the garden where our ceremony and dinner was supposed to be hosted at (even though it was POURING but somehow the pictures didn't show any signs of that). It was one of the main reasons why we fell in love with our venue. It was how we envisioned our wedding to be for an entire year. It would have been one of our biggest regrets if it weren't for she didn't grab us away from dinner to take sunset photos outside. We are so thankful you remembered every detail we told her.
And lastly, she was able to capture the joy and happiness on our parents' faces. It means the world to me and my husband to see our parents that happy and proud.
Her photos will bring smiles to our faces for years to come and we can't wait to share these with our family, friends...and future children!

fore the wedding, she met with us to do a walkthrough of the venue and used her aesthetic eye to point out the best places to take the pics, and also took into consideration some of the "must have" pics that we wanted.
On the day of, Jenny was so awesome and efficient and made the whole photo taking process seem natural! She balanced the two different settings of the formal indoor church ceremony with the relaxed outdoor Italian/Mediterranean/California garden reception with ease, directing us to pose/be natural and put forth our best selves (in other words, the best angles of ourselves! :))
When we got our final photo set, my husband and I were so extremely happy and immediately shared it with all of our friends and family! The photos were gorgeous, dreamy, had tons of bokeh , and delicate-- Jenny truly captured each moment. We literally stared at the photos for 3 hours straight when we first got them, and felt as if we were reliving our wedding day all over again with our closest friends and family. She was able to capture different perspectives which was great because we saw the wedding through the lens of the guests, and even saw parts/aspects of our wedding that we didn't get see on the day of!
Overall, we highly recommend Jenny as your photographer, and have already recommended her to all of our friends and family!

in love. Her photos are absolutely gorgeous—light filled, filmic, stunning. They have a very natural look, while also having a special cinematic quality.
Jenny was a dream to work with. She’s extremely professional and responsive, and was our photographer, stylist, and consultant all in one. For our engagement shoot and wedding planning, she provided tons of tips and ideas. She has an excellent aesthetic, and she goes above and beyond to help you.
For the engagement shoot, she found us the perfect location in Sonoma. She directed us very naturally, even though we usually aren’t good at taking photos, and we had so much fun on the shoot. The photos turned out luminous and elegant, as if they came out of a magazine spread.
We were blown away by our wedding photos. They’re timeless and romantic, and beautifully capture memories that we will cherish for a lifetime. She guided us through the day seamlessly, making sure we got all the shots we needed. Our favorites are the stunning sunset shots with the city skyline in the background

Jenny was very approachable when it came time to take our photos. She made my husband and I very comfortable, was able to get a lot of natural poses and laughter out of us and it showed in our photos. Jenny's style is really unique since she uses BOTH film AND digital cameras. We got a great mix of super clear and crisp digital photos as well as super soft and naturally lit film photos and to my surprise, they were ALL untouched and perfect!
Having taken engagement and wedding photos, I can see a big difference in Jenny's work. She is careful about taking each and every shot but definitely not slow! She is assertive and directed my husband and I in every pose, fixed my bangs when the wind blew, and took the time to walk over and adjust us so we looked as natural as possible. Aside from Jenny's photos, this was my favorite thing about her because her directions helped us look dreamy and comfortable. Once you take photos, you may realize you have no idea where to put your hands or how to place them in a natural way but Jenny takes care of it all and is so sweet in her directions!
Overall, we had an excellent experience with Jenny and I have already decided we will take photos once a year with her!
