Jenny Z Wedding DJ was an excellent choice for our wedding. We selected them based on how exceptional of a job they did at my sister's wedding and were extremely pleased. DJ Boomer held a call with my husband and I prior to the wedding to discuss our particular preferences for music and incorporated them wonderfully into our cocktail hour. He was charismatic and professional as the master of ceremony and had all the songs queued up perfectly as we had discussed with him. An added bonus to booking with Jenny Z is the inclusion of the “Magic Selfie Mirror”, which kept our guests thoroughly entertained throughout the night. The operators of the mirror were incredibly sweet and a delight for us and our guests to interact with. I would highly recommend Jenny Z and DJ Boomer to anybody in the area looking for a wedding DJ.

Hire DJ Jenny Z! In planning, she asked us excellent questions and made sure to go over details in such a way that no stone was unturned. The magic mirror photobooth was SO FUN. Definitely go for it. We had access to every photo, gif, and video made with the photobooth. Guests could text themselves their photos to get immediate access to them. At the end of the night, as Jenny packed up, she left it for last so the groom and I could grab some last minute photos together with friends and family. One of our major concerns was that our dance floor was separate from our dining area. We were worried no one would join us to dance. We didn’t have to worry. Our DJ called guests into the room for dancing to see our first dance and parent dances and immediately people jumped in when invited. One of my favorite parts of our wedding day happened because of our DJ. At the end of the night, she kicked everyone out to get ready for a sparkler send off. She did not allow staff, vendors, or anyone to stay except for the groom and I. She put on one last song just for the two of us to dance to privately, and even she left the room. I cried. It was a beautiful stolen moment that we would not have gotten to share without Jenny’s attention to detail and care for her clients.

Working with DJ Jenny Z at Musical Enterprises, or lack there of, was an absolute nightmare for my fiancé and I in the midst of my family being directly impacted by COVID-19. This company came highly regarded and we were excited to work with them for our wedding in November 2021. But I am about to share an unforeseen circumstance that made our wedding day impossible, and this company treated us like a number rather than a valued partner. My father contracted COVID-19 three months prior to our wedding and was hospitalized for 81 days, regressing further from a healthy state in the beginning and ultimately became ventilator dependent, in a medically induced coma, fighting for his life. This was also in the midst of taking care of my mother by myself who was also severely affected by COVID. We informed them of these circumstances as soon as we could and ultimately our decision to postpone. We were hopeful that they would understand given this was out of our control. However, DJ Jenny Z decided to bring more hurdles and insensitively, stating in email, “bad things happen to good people” and “this is unfair for everyone”. We tried to compromise with a reduction in final payment, until they requested us to sign a termination agreement that included stripping our rights to share this experience. We agreed to not sign, and paid the company in full to fulfill their contract as a cancellation, which to them is the same thing as a postponement, even during a pandemic. In my circumstance, DJ Jenny cared more about upholding their contract and meeting their bottom line, rather than having compassion for their clients and coming to a fair agreement for both parties.

Jenny was absolutely amazing! I would use her all over again if we could do the day again. We picked the Platinum package which included everything and then some! The photo booth was definitely the biggest hit from young to old! Everyone felt included and had fun. So much fun to look back at all the goofy pictures. She was able to meet with my husband and I over Zoom (Out of State Couple) to go over our timeline and pick and choose our songs for our special day. Everyone was out on the dance floor the entire night having fun! I would recommend Jenny Z to anyone!!

As a fellow wedding vendor, I already knew how great Jenny Z was but it was even better being on the other side of her services as a bride. She was super helpful with picking our playlist and understood our style right away. She shows her passion and love for music through her services, and you could tell she was truly excited to be a part of our big day. She was familiar with our venue so she helped tweak our timeline to better suit the mansion's layout, which really made a big difference and how our day was able to flow smoothly! When you hire Jenny, you not only hire a wedding DJ, she brings so much more to your big day. From the planning process, to helping pick out the perfect songs for all parts of the day, to supplying the Magic Selfie Mirror, glow sticks for our send off, I just can't stop raving about her!! DJ Jenny Z was like a fairy godmother musical mastermind/secret coordinator. She kept the party going, flowing, dancing and on time. She made sure that I ate, which I SO appreciated! She also gave us the idea for one of my favorite parts of the evening...after the last song she had the guests exit to make an exit tunnel, while we danced one more song, just my groom and I, alone in our venue just taking it all in. IT WAS PERFECT. She also helped us with picking songs that we needed like dances, and entrances based on lists of the most popular ones which was SUPER helpful. The music was perfect and we had the best time. Also, 10/10 recommend the magic selfie mirror service they provide...our guests loved it AND they made US a scrapbook of everyone's photos and we absolutely loved going through it together the next day. She brought all her own equipment, and lights, and was totally mobile and quick transitioning from ceremony, cocktail hour to reception. She was awesome and exactly what we wanted!!!

DJ Boomer was absolutely fantastic! Jenny Z Mobile DJ Service came highly recommended by a old co-worker, and they were 100% correct in saying the DJs are awesome! We booked with them very early, and when our wedding date started quickly approaching, DJ Boomer and Jennifer never failed to keep us informed. DJ Boomer brought such fun energy to the big day, and I don't think our dance floor was empty once. We ended the night with the dance floor completely packed! We made a last minute decision to upgrade to the "Gold Package", and we couldn't be happier that we did. The Photo booth added extra fun for the night, and everyone raved about the lighted corn hole boards. DJ Boomer did a great job catering the music to all ages, but keeping things fun and lively- which was very important to us. Would recommend this company over and over. Thank you guys for everything!!

We loved having Jenny Z as our DJ! The website she provided made the planning process super simple and helped us really organize our music ideas. Our guests couldn't say enough about how much they loved the variety of music, and even my grandma was satisfied at the volume (she usually complains it is too loud). Because Jenny used multiple speakers throughout the room, it was easy to hear the music clearly without being overwhelmed. It was very easy to get in contact with Jenny, and she always had our best interests in mind. Jenny answered all of my questions and gave me plenty of suggestions as well. She was very helpful, and our wedding would not have been the same without her!

Jenny Z helped us so much with picking out music and coming up with a timeline based on what we wanted to do during the reception. We were so excited to have her as our DJ after meeting her in person. She kept our guests on the dance floor the whole night. The Magic Selfie Mirror that was included in our package was a huge hit as well!

Jenny and Boomer were absolutely amazing! We had Jenny as our DJ and Boomer doing the selfie mirror and the whole day ran so smoothly. I attended two weddings that they were the DJ’s for and did not even look at another DJ. Jenny made the whole process simple and everything I said I wanted in the planning process happened at the wedding. She was there to lend advise when needed to help the day run smoothly and fun for everyone. The selfie mirror was a huge hit with our guest and the entire day was amazing. They went above and beyond to make our day perfect!

I was married at the same venue as a family friend, so it was easy for me to use her same suggested vendors. As a wedding coordinator and florist, she told me Jenny was the best DJ she had ever had at a wedding. She was right! Jenny went above and beyond to help plan out our day and help with music. She kept everyone well entertained, as she was entertaining herself. Our wedding was out of town, so facetime had to suffice for meetings. I immediately felt comfortable with Jenny and she really matched our vision. Thank you so much! Her photo booth was also a huge hit!

Highly recommend Jenny! She was amazing to work with, keeping the dance floor flowing, but also keeping our wedding on schedule! I did not feel any stress knowing she was in charge of the timeline :) She was excellent to work with before our wedding as well, helping us with song choices and ideas. Jenny Z was our DJ for our wedding this past weekend. She kept our guests dancing all night long. She played traditional Greek dance music along with current popular music pleasing older and younger guests. Jenny Z also went above and beyond ensuring our wedding day timeline allotted for all the events we wanted.

Jenny Z and DJ Boomer were fantastic! I would highly recommend them! They were so easy to work with making the whole process a breeze. We planned to hand pick our full playlist, but with everything we had going on before our wedding time got away from us and we never did. DJ Boomer built our playlist for us and it fit us perfectly! He helped to recommend good versions of our chosen first dance songs and recessional song as well. I wouldn't change a single thing! We also used them for the Magic Selfie Mirror Photo Booth, what a hit! We have photos of all of our guests and they loved it! DJ prices in general were higher than I had originally anticipated, but Jenny Z was worth every penny! Thank you, DJ Boomer for making our wedding a hit!

In the weeks leading up to the wedding, we were very happy with Jenny's service but then things went south. We had a groomsman sing our first dance song, it was very important to us, and she worked with him so that it went off without a hitch. Somewhere along the way communication went south and she sent him an extremely inappropriate email that almost caused us to fire her five days before the wedding. She ended up apologizing so we decided to keep her, that was a mistake. She didn't seem to be "checked in" during our reception at all. We had several guests complain that she played the same song repeatedly and that she was one of the worst DJs that had ever seen. As the bride, I was being pulled in a lot of directions and I can't say that I noticed myself but to have guests comment on that, it was really embarrassing. Between those comments and the situation with the email, I could never, in good conscience recommend her despite the fact that she came highly recommended to us.

Jenny. Is. Awesome! Jenny was such a great addition to our vendors and did a better job than we could have imagined! She took time before the big day to get to know us and make sure she tailored her program to who we were and what we wanted to accomplish. She was more than a good choice, she was perfect!

DJ Jenny Z was great! We had a great time working with her via email over several months. She helped us create a great flow for both the ceremony and reception for two grooms who wanted to create a fun and lively party. During planning, we created a generic timeline and then during our final meeting we sat down for specifics. She brought a speaker and played us different songs to see what we reacted to, since we did not have specific music we wanted. Jenny Z was also great about being flexible during the ceremony and reception. We were done with cocktail hour a little earlier than planned and she was ready to go. She also watched the crowd and asked if we could bump things up a little further because it seemed like the crowd was ready to dance (which we were all for)! Overall, it was a great evening and we had so many comments from guests about how the music and flow was great, which we attribute to DJ Jenny Z and all of her work.

Jenny Z Mobile DJ Service did the music for my wedding reception on 09/29/2017. Jennifer was very responsive to all our questions and special requests. She was also always extremely kind and professional. Everyone loved the music and danced ALL night long! I would not hesitate to recommend Jenny Z Mobile DJ Service for your next special event. She's absolutely fantastic.

Jenny is AWESOME. She really went the extra mile to ensure we had a fabulous and fun day! She gave us tips and advice on our ceremony and reception since we had a friend officiate our wedding and we did all of our planning on our own. She got our guest up and dancing and made our day so fun! We were planning on doing a glow stick send-off and she gave us the idea of having a glow stick party right before the send-off, best idea ever, everyone had a blast! Nothing but happiness we chose her to be our DJ!

Booking Jenny Z was a great decision, and you won't be sorry! We actually had DJ Tim, who was great. Their prices are reasonable, especially for an off-season wedding, and their planning website is really cool. We had an in-person meeting with DJ Tim a few weeks before the wedding, which really helped ease any stress about the flow of the reception.

Jenny Z was awesome to work with! One of the best decisions we made for our wedding reception. She is responsive and was able to help us plan our reception exactly as we wanted it. Jenny was so friendly and fun, we had a blast at our reception! She kept all the guests engaged and things running smoothly from the cocktail hour to the end of the night! We had a few favorite songs and styles of music we requested to be played, Jenny did a great job of incorporating them throughout the evening! Her company also offers many different packages to fit any budget. It was great how we were able to meet with Jenny before the reception and go over a few ideas we had as well as the flow of the reception and styles of music we wanted to be played. Jenny also helped us with playing our short movie trailer from our destination ceremony. We were able to rent the projector and it was perfect to show for our guests before we were announced! Hands down the best DJ out there!! When we asked Jenny Z to be our DJ we had no idea, we would be receiving so much more. Jenny is kind and caring and has a genuine enthusiasm for what she does. And we even had a chance to meet her husband DJ Boomer who is just as kind!! She offered us a wedding website where we can choose our preferred songs and even create a timeline for the ceremony and reception. Two weeks out from the wedding she scheduled a meeting with us to go over details and song choices and even helped us pick the perfect entrance into our first dance. The music was phenomenal and even though we didn't have a lot of "dancers" in our family people were still out on the floor having a great time. I've had several people call to rave about her and the music!! She made announcements throughout the night that made for a smooth transition into each segment of the evening, made special (and well-deserved) acknowledgments to our other vendors, and just kept the party alive until the very end!! We can't even begin to thank Jenny enough for being apart of our wedding day and truly making it such an incredible experience for all!!!

Both Jenny Z (owner) and DJ Boomer (my DJ for the day) were great. Jenny Z was very nice to talk to and gave me great ideas for music selections when I couldn't decide. We got lots of compliments on the John Williams music theme before the ceremony. DJ Boomer was a very sweet guy, who kept us on schedule and looked almost apologetic when he had to move the reception along because of our tight time frame. He was good at making the few necessary announcements without interrupting the music too often. I highly recommend these two to work with for your wedding!

Jenny Z was an absolute joy to work with! I wasn't sure of a lot of the music that I should play during the ceremony and cocktail hour and Jenny chose perfect songs! During our consultation, she played clips of several different songs and waited until I reacted positively to one via facial expressions and body language so she knew I was really interested in using it. She kept the crowd engaged and at the end of the night, the whole wedding party started chanting for "one more song!" The perfect DJ for me and my group; I'm so glad we chose her.

Jenny Z is an excellent DJ. She is very easy to work with, and she did an excellent job all night reading our crowd and playing music that our guests loved. It was clear that she has a lot of experience and is very good at what she does. When my wife and I first met Jenny Z, we asked her how many songs we should provide her for our song list. She told us fifteen would be fine to get our music taste, and she would do the rest. She did not disappoint. She knew just the right songs to play at just the right times, and she had no problem getting our guests onto the dance floor. Jenny has years of experience and knows what she is doing. Jenny had many helpful suggestions throughout the process, and it was a pleasure working with her. We were so thankful for the job she did and how professional she was. Jenny is an excellent choice for any wedding!

Our experience with DJ Jenny Z was quite nice! I emailed back and forth with Jenny about our wedding and felt very comfortable signing a contract with her and that we were going to get what we needed. After we signed our contract Jenny set us up with her website where we could listen to music and put together "definitely play, definitely do not play" lists and to help set up our time line (ceremony entry, ceremony events requiring music, ceremony recess, cocktail hour, entry into reception, first dance, parent dances, etc.) As our wedding got closer we met with her and went over every minute of the wedding to discuss the exact vibe that we wanted, listen to specific songs to help make selections. She was very prepared and actually I left with a list of things I needed to nail down - this was very helpful to me as I realized that once I had those answers ("what was the exact processional order" type of questions) then I would have all the little, but important decisions made and completed. DJ Boomer was our actual DJ and he was on top of everything and kept the dance floor moving. While he was vibrant he wasn't "Price is Right" cheesy. This was huge for us as we didn't want our announcements to feel like a game show and we were very pleased with how he interacted with our crowd. They also provided us with purple uplights and a disco fun light for the reception. This was great and really helped to a party atmosphere.

Jenny and DJ Boomer were both exceptionally friendly and more than willing to help out throughout the planning process for our wedding reception. Their online planning tool was easy to use and very helpful in planning, and they were very responsive when we had questions about our wedding reception as we planned. As the event came closer, they had a lot of really fantastic suggestions and ideas for how to make our reception run smoothly, and took all the time necessary to make sure they we were happy with the timeline and plans for the day. They understood a lot of potential issues that may arise at a wedding reception, and came ready to offer multiple solutions. Their ears were open to our ideas, wants, and needs. When the big day arrived, they were exceptionally flexible as photography took a little longer than expected, and our guests had no clue that we were behind on our initial schedule. DJ Boomer even helped out our guests at the reception venue as they figured out where they were supposed to go. He got everyone dancing after dinner- even the non-dancers- and made our dinner and reception lively and fun! The flow from one event to the next was smooth, planned and guided by DJ Boomer, even when we were doing events "on the fly" because of our delay getting into the reception. His friendly, open personality, sense of humor, and professionalism during the day was noticed and commended by many of our guests! He takes great pride in his services, and is very sincere and genuinely interested in making the event perfect for the bride and groom and their family and friends. It is not enough to say that we enjoyed the entertainment and the service- I could not recommend this company more highly! :)

Jenny did a wonderful job at our wedding. She was very professional throughout the whole process from when we first interviewed to after the wedding. She played great music and everyone had a wonderful time. She respected our requests and "do not play list." The only snafu was she tripped over the power cord during our first dance. But, she played it off well and got the song up and running again in no time! Overall, I recommend!

Jeny Z Mobile DJ Service- Flawless! To anyone looking for a great DJ in the Greater Baltimore area, I wholeheartedly recommend Jeny Z Mobile DJ Service. After a fabulous destination wedding in Hawaii, my husband and I threw a picnic celebration for our son and his new wife here at home for a host of family and friends at gorgeous Swan Harbor Farms in Havre de Grace MD. Jeny Z Mobile DJ Service handled the music, announcements and ran the event beautifully from beginning to end. Guests raved about what fun they had, and Jenny was sensitive to the music preferences of all our guests, mixing up the selections tastefully. I especially appreciated that Jenny incorporated all of our personal favorite songs and the energetic way she made announcements and kept the event running smoothly. A number of my guests said it was the best party they had ever been to! My special thanks to Jenny, who quickly adapted the music plan when bad weather rolled in and music that had been planned for the garden area had to be shifted to the mansion space indoors. Great job Jenny! Hats off to Jenny Z!

I found Jenny through a recommendation on my photographers recommendation. Haha. In the end, my photographer was really happy to be working with her, because they had worked together before and do it well. To me, having a DJ that would flow well with my photographer was what was most important. Well Jenny turned out to be a super awesome DJ. She was on time and cue with everything. She never messed up or flubbed someone's name and really kept the reception jumping. She played all the music I wanted to, songs I requested to be played and music that everyone would like. She even played a song I hated but that my brother had requested, which made for a funny and fun moment. My family also thought she was great and that she did an awesome job for us tonight. Plus the cost of it all was well within my budget so that made me happy too! Jenny Z was awesome and I definitely recommend her as DJ. = )

We chose Jenny Z because she came highly recommended by our caterer. Jenny was a pleasure to work with. She was very helpful to us in choosing songs for certain reception events. She is so down to earth and willing to do whatever her client needs. She is not dominating, and makes sure the reception runs smoothly. She is also very affordable! I recommended Jenny Z to a coworker of mine before I had my wedding, and Jenny sent us a gift from our registry to say thank you! She's very sweet and you will not be disappointed!

Jenny Z is a superb DJ. She was very engaging and the guests loved her lvel of interaction. She played all the music I wanted and even had time for requests from the guests. She is a gem and I would recommend her for any wedding, birthday party and other social celebration!
