ll the photos we wanted but kept very chill vibes which is ideal. He even stayed on later in the day than expected. We appreciated how he took the time to discuss the various options of how the day could look, depending on our priorities for which photos we wanted. We were planning our wedding with an 8 hour timezone difference but he was great to work with and was able to do video calls in order to get to know him from a distance. It was especially useful to have someone who was very comfortable with our venue (Salish Lodge) and therefore could guide us through the best places to get photos but still be efficient with our time. We have a nice mix of posed family photos, portraits, and some great candids. The photos came back to us very quickly and we loved that we got a box of print photos as well. All in all we highly recommend Jerome, you can definitely tell that he knows his work and he's a great person to have around on your wedding day!

You can tell he was really thinking throughout the day about how to capture the moments that mattered. Here are some highlights and personal anecdotes which stood out to me in the process by stage of planning: Booking: The pricing was incredibly fair and very straightforward. Upon inquiring, Jerome shared a pamphlet with a clear breakdown. He also offered to set up a zoom call to really understand our vision, needs, and overall flow of the day. He was one of the first vendors we booked (because of our friends) so many details were not yet sorted. He was flexible, understanding, and offered insights and subject matter expertise to help guide us on next steps of the planning process. Pre wedding: Jerome had never shot at our venue before. Typically vendors are reliant on the couple to share floor plans, put them in contact with other vendors, etc. But Jerome was THE most proactive vendor we worked with - unprompted, he reached out to our venue coordinator (got their contact directly from the website) to set up time to meet them, visit the property, and scope out some shots. I should mention that he drove over 2 hours to do this, moving around his schedule to work with a pre-scheduled walkthrough that my husband and I had. Wedding day: We had an early start, and though we had agreed that photography would begin around 7 am, Jerome arrived early to avoid traffic. Again, his proactiveness really surprised us compared to other vendors we and our friends have worked with- he contacted our hotel and booked his own room for staging as well as accommodations after the wedding. Despite our contract covering a set amount of hours, he began shooting way earlier since he was there early. Cultural Pieces: Jerome is an expert at cultural weddings, including Hindu weddings. There are many nuanced rituals that take a place over 2+hours. After 2 decades of experience, Jerome is very familiar with rituals, and their nuances. This meant he knew all of the significant shots to get, and was able to move around and somehow being so many places in once during the transitions. It should also be noted that he was very accommodating of the many family members who wanted to take photos as well. Post-wedding: again, there are themes with proactivity. Jerome kept us in the loop on the progress of processing photos, the teaser was ready within a few weeks, and the entire portfolio of thousands of added photos was ready after about a month. We absolutely did not expect this, but he also put together an entire box of printed photos with a flash drive and mailed it to our house. The Work: We are so happy with the photos that were captured. They were many special moments that we had forgotten and we have loved reliving them, thanks to Jerome's mastery. Given the option, we would 100% rebook Jerome again and again, and we absolutely recommend his services. He is creative, proactive, professional, friendly, and prompt.

He has a lot of great experience in South Asian weddings, and it helped to know that he is aware of all the rituals and we wouldn't have to explain all the specifics or where to be for the important parts. He even offered suggestions to our timeline to make it easier. For our Mehndi day, we worked with Jamie, one of Jerome's team members. She was amazing and captured all the important moments. Jerome was there for our Haldi day and wedding day. Our Haldi was running behind schedule and though his time was up, he stayed behind to photograph the smaller rituals/fun games etc. On the wedding day, our day started early at 4am and ended at midnight--Jerome was there at 6:30am and stayed until 10:30-11pm--he was just there everywhere, capturing any and all moments possible! We really really enjoyed working with Jerome, and the pictures are amazing! We got back to us with the pictures within 3 weeks and they are beautiful. We would 100% recommend Jerome for your big day!

lios and Instagrams of a lot of photographers and Jerome seemed to have shot a few. He didn't have a lot of reviews, but we liked what we saw. We reached out to him and hired him for our wedding. That was the best decision we made! He did a phenomenal job! I'm not very photogenic and also a little shy in front of the camera. Jerome not only made me feel very comfortable, but also made me look good in the photos! The wedding went by really fast for us, but we have some amazing photos to look back at and relive the day. He's very easygoing, fun to work with and just a great guy overall! We've since worked with Jerome for a maternity shoot as well as a Fall family photo shoot, and no surprise, those turned out to be incredible as well! He's really a master of his craft! Jerome is extremely talented and easily one of the best photographers in the Pacific Northwest!

imeline and whether we would be able to get all the photoshoots/important moments that I wanted to capture. I asked his opinion on having/not having a first look and he was able to tell me the pro's and con's of each which lead me to decide on having one. I discussed all the other events I wanted him to capture and we were able to work out a timeline that fits everything. Day of the wedding he worked very efficiently yet I did not feel rushed at all. Our timeline was tight but he was able to capture a traditional outfit photoshoot, outfit change/first looks, and bridal party photos, with some time to spare to get ready for the ceremony. Jerome led us to good photo spots quickly and was also helpful directing us how to pose. Prior to the wedding he had asked for some inspiration photos and I sent him some without thinking too much about it afterwards. Despite how busy it was day of, he still made sure I got some photos similar to the inspo ones I had shown. I'm in love with the way they came out and I'm so glad we put in some time for them. During moments of downtime, Jerome takes photos of guests and venue displays. Even when he was not right besides me, I always noticed him running over right when I needed him. It is very impressive how aware he was for the entire day.

. The day of, he arrived early to scope out the venue and grab some preliminary shots. With a large group of people that don't necessarily love being photographed, Jerome gave clear direction, instructing people where and how to stand, where to look, if you should tilt your chin up or down, whether to smile or look serious. My friends and family were very impressed! We got all the shots on my list (and then some!) in an incredibly timely manner. As for the rest of the ceremony and reception, Jerome thoughtfully captured moments I wouldn't have thought of - my grooms face while I danced with my father, for example. Looking through our final photos (exactly a month after the wedding), we know Jerome had been the right photography investment! A lovely personal touch being the sneak previews of photos both on instagram and via email, and the personalized box of highlight photos mailed to us.

, we wrestled with what our options would be moving forward. In early 2021, as things began to look slightly more optimistic, we attempted to plan our wedding once again. There were a lot of challenges to say the least and being flexible was an absolute must with local and state guidelines changing by the day. We came to peace and accepted that our wedding day would be modified however needed to meet local and state health and safety requirements. We went in with the mindset that whatever happens, we were getting married in September 2021 with 30 guests or 300 guests! One thing that remained unchanged was we both agreed photography was our top priority. When we were doing our research, it was very important for us to connect with a photographer that had a background in capturing southeast Asian weddings. We came across Jerome's portofolio and were immediately drawn in by his talented and extensive work that captured so many cultural elements that are integral to weddings. We were so thrilled to find out Jerome was available and looked forward to our first Zoom meeting shortly after. As soon as we "met" Jerome, we knew we had the right person and it is by far, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Having been in the industry for nearly two decades, it is clear Jerome is a master of his craft. Jerome truly listens and asks all the right questions to ensure he clearly understands what his client's expectations and concerns are. His thoughtful and honest guidance, consultations and follow-ups really helped ease our wedding jitters. Throughout the wedding day, Jerome made everyone in our party feel completely at ease and we all had such a great time! Did we mention Jerome has photographic memory and is amazing with names? We really appreciated his flexibility in working with us to ensure we were able to schedule in some off-site photos. We got our wedding photos back very quickly and are just completely in awe! extremely stressful , but he suggested doing a zoom meeting (first time I had one suggest that usually it was just a phone call) and right away he made us feel so comfortable and we were laughing during the whole thing. Both my husband and I are camera shy, but he made the whole process fun! My husband and I were joking because he was zipping everywhere during the reception and even was able to get photos of me sneaking off to cuddle my baby niece!! natural pose might not come out, but Jerome made it so easy for me to get comfortable in front of the camera so quick, and I had so much fun all around! Not only he does his researches up front about the venue and the photo shoot area, but he also thinks of different poses and angle that captures the best sides of you. While we shot our portraits, his professionalism and extensive knowledge and experience really shined through and we felt at ease that our photos would turn out amazing. It was also a lot of fun and laughter while we shot our photos with family and friends. After the wedding, Jerome kept in touch regarding his progress of our photos; teasers of one of our portraits, and then a link to his website that had a small picture overview of the big day. We did not expect these ‘progress reports’ from him, but we definitely appreciate that he kept us updated and it is one of the key reasons for this most deserved 5-star review. We are grateful that he was available to work with us, especially during a pandemic, and with our budget. We would definitely recommend him to others. If we have any future events or celebrations, we would love to work with him again.
