We met up in person and I got to know how fun and awesome Jerome is. He helped us before the wedding to talk about all of the moments we wanted to capture, and gave us huge confidence in the timing of the wedding day. He was always so calm and professional, and we were both amazed at how well he captured our moments, and our families- all while making it seem so easy. And we were done FAST. We didn't have to linger around, he always knew how to direct with kindness, and he was always ready to get the candid moments we weren't expecting. We worked with Jerome for our Indian fusion wedding celebration in October 2023. Jerome was recommended to us by friends who excitingly shared " if you have to book anyone for your wedding, it must be Jerome!". They were right. Here are some highlights and personal anecdotes which stood out to me in the process by stage of planning: Booking: The pricing was incredibly fair and very straightforward. Upon inquiring, Jerome shared a pamphlet with a clear breakdown. He also offered to set up a zoom call to really understand our vision, needs, and overall flow of the day. He was one of the first vendors we booked (because of our friends) so many details were not yet sorted. He was flexible, understanding, and offered insights and subject matter expertise to help guide us on next steps of the planning process. Pre wedding: Jerome had never shot at our venue before. Typically vendors are reliant on the couple to share floor plans, put them in contact with other vendors, etc. But Jerome was THE most proactive vendor we worked with - unprompted, he reached out to our venue coordinator (got their contact directly from the website) to set up time to meet them, visit the property, and scope out some shots. I should mention that he drove over 2 hours to do this, moving around his schedule to work with a pre-scheduled walkthrough that my husband and I had. Wedding day: We had an early start, and though we had agreed that photography would begin around 7 am, Jerome arrived early to avoid traffic. Again, his proactiveness really surprised us compared to other vendors we and our friends have worked with- he contacted our hotel and booked his own room for staging as well as accommodations after the wedding. Despite our contract covering a set amount of hours, he began shooting way earlier since he was there early. Cultural Pieces: Jerome is an expert at cultural weddings, including Hindu weddings. There are many nuanced rituals that take a place over 2+hours. After 2 decades of experience, Jerome is very familiar with rituals, and their nuances. This meant he knew all of the significant shots to get, and was able to move around and somehow being so many places in once during the transitions. It should also be noted that he was very accommodating of the many family members who wanted to take photos as well. Post-wedding: again, there are themes with proactivity. Jerome kept us in the loop on the progress of processing photos, the teaser was ready within a few weeks, and the entire portfolio of thousands of added photos was ready after about a month. We absolutely did not expect this, but he also put together an entire box of printed photos with a flash drive and mailed it to our house. The Work: We are so happy with the photos that were captured. They were many special moments that we had forgotten and we have loved reliving them, thanks to Jerome's mastery. Given the option, we would 100% rebook Jerome again and again, and we absolutely recommend his services. He is creative, proactive, professional, friendly, and prompt.

We worked with Jerome for our three day Indian wedding. I really appreciated his communication from the initial planning to the wedding day. We had an informational meeting with Jerome where we walked through what is included, what he recommends and how to split up the time. He has a lot of great experience in South Asian weddings, and it helped to know that he is aware of all the rituals and we wouldn't have to explain all the specifics or where to be for the important parts. He even offered suggestions to our timeline to make it easier. For our Mehndi day, we worked with Jamie, one of Jerome's team members. She was amazing and captured all the important moments. Jerome was there for our Haldi day and wedding day. Our Haldi was running behind schedule and though his time was up, he stayed behind to photograph the smaller rituals/fun games etc. On the wedding day, our day started early at 4am and ended at midnight--Jerome was there at 6:30am and stayed until 10:30-11pm--he was just there everywhere, capturing any and all moments possible! We really really enjoyed working with Jerome, and the pictures are amazing! We got back to us with the pictures within 3 weeks and they are beautiful. We would 100% recommend Jerome for your big day!

Jerome, Our family can not truly express how grateful we are for your exceptional service. Not only are you wonderful company, but your work shows you more as an artist than a photographer. Thank you for all the friendly conversations and for meeting us in person to make sure we were all on the same page. When all is said and done and the wedding celebration is over, you’re left with memories and photographs. We’re so grateful that our family has such beautiful keepsakes. Jerome was great! He worked so well with my family and bridal party. He was able to get the kids to smile too! Definitely worth every penny. We had a separate photo shoot with just my groom and me. It was such a special time. I'm so glad Jerome suggested Tumwater Falls. It was a beautiful day and location and the pictures turned out perfectly!

Jerome was fantastic! Always quick to laugh and provide suggestions. He was great with the guests at our wedding and never commandeered too much of our time and attention. He even helped fold my pocket square before the ceremony. From engagement photos, through the wedding, and post honeymoon follow up he has been awesome to work with. This man is magic with a camera and made our days and celebrations shine as much in photo as they will in my memories!

Jerome is so talented with taking photos, and he is able to capture the best moments while not being a distraction to the wedding. Jerome is a fantastic photographer and was perfect for our elopement. Not only was he able to direct us with poses and pick great spots at Kubota Garden, but he also was great to talk to as we traveled between locations. We appreciated how he took the time to get to know us and make sure we had everything we needed. At one point, he saw a great spot for a photo on a bench and saw it was wet. He then laid down his own jacket so that we could sit. That just really impressed upon us that he cares about his clients. When we received the photos, we were amazed at the quality, the variety, and the ability to capture our special day. We are thankful for Jerome's work and are excited to do future sessions with him when we expand our family.

This review is 7 years overdue. My wife and I had an Indian wedding and were looking for a photographer who had experience with capturing Indian weddings. We browsed through portfolios and Instagrams of a lot of photographers and Jerome seemed to have shot a few. He didn't have a lot of reviews, but we liked what we saw. We reached out to him and hired him for our wedding. That was the best decision we made! He did a phenomenal job! I'm not very photogenic and also a little shy in front of the camera. Jerome not only made me feel very comfortable, but also made me look good in the photos! The wedding went by really fast for us, but we have some amazing photos to look back at and relive the day. He's very easygoing, fun to work with and just a great guy overall! We've since worked with Jerome for a maternity shoot as well as a Fall family photo shoot, and no surprise, those turned out to be incredible as well! He's really a master of his craft! Jerome is extremely talented and easily one of the best photographers in the Pacific Northwest!

Jerome was absolutely wonderful to work with during my wedding. He is friendly, experienced, and super efficient. A month prior to the wedding day, I was worried about the day of timeline and whether we would be able to get all the photoshoots/important moments that I wanted to capture. I asked his opinion on having/not having a first look and he was able to tell me the pro's and con's of each which lead me to decide on having one. I discussed all the other events I wanted him to capture and we were able to work out a timeline that fits everything. Day of the wedding he worked very efficiently yet I did not feel rushed at all. Our timeline was tight but he was able to capture a traditional outfit photoshoot, outfit change/first looks, and bridal party photos, with some time to spare to get ready for the ceremony. Jerome led us to good photo spots quickly and was also helpful directing us how to pose. Prior to the wedding he had asked for some inspiration photos and I sent him some without thinking too much about it afterwards. Despite how busy it was day of, he still made sure I got some photos similar to the inspo ones I had shown. I'm in love with the way they came out and I'm so glad we put in some time for them. During moments of downtime, Jerome takes photos of guests and venue displays. Even when he was not right besides me, I always noticed him running over right when I needed him. It is very impressive how aware he was for the entire day.

Jerome was a dream to work with. He was responsive in the planning stage, responding to texts and emails; he was very professional and gave his opinion on our timeline and schedule. The day of, he arrived early to scope out the venue and grab some preliminary shots. With a large group of people that don't necessarily love being photographed, Jerome gave clear direction, instructing people where and how to stand, where to look, if you should tilt your chin up or down, whether to smile or look serious. My friends and family were very impressed! We got all the shots on my list (and then some!) in an incredibly timely manner. As for the rest of the ceremony and reception, Jerome thoughtfully captured moments I wouldn't have thought of - my grooms face while I danced with my father, for example. Looking through our final photos (exactly a month after the wedding), we know Jerome had been the right photography investment! A lovely personal touch being the sneak previews of photos both on instagram and via email, and the personalized box of highlight photos mailed to us.

Jerome did the photography for our wedding this last December, and he was simply amazing! We couldn’t have been happier with the shots he took. My husband and I were engaged a few months prior to the start of the pandemic and any preliminary planning we had done up until then were completely halted. Like many other couples, we wrestled with what our options would be moving forward. In early 2021, as things began to look slightly more optimistic, we attempted to plan our wedding once again. There were a lot of challenges to say the least and being flexible was an absolute must with local and state guidelines changing by the day. We came to peace and accepted that our wedding day would be modified however needed to meet local and state health and safety requirements. We went in with the mindset that whatever happens, we were getting married in September 2021 with 30 guests or 300 guests! One thing that remained unchanged was we both agreed photography was our top priority. When we were doing our research, it was very important for us to connect with a photographer that had a background in capturing southeast Asian weddings. We came across Jerome's portofolio and were immediately drawn in by his talented and extensive work that captured so many cultural elements that are integral to weddings. We were so thrilled to find out Jerome was available and looked forward to our first Zoom meeting shortly after. As soon as we "met" Jerome, we knew we had the right person and it is by far, one of the best decisions we made for our wedding day! Having been in the industry for nearly two decades, it is clear Jerome is a master of his craft. Jerome truly listens and asks all the right questions to ensure he clearly understands what his client's expectations and concerns are. His thoughtful and honest guidance, consultations and follow-ups really helped ease our wedding jitters. My husband and I were super lucky to have Jerome as our Wedding photographer. Our wedding was an inter-state South Asian wedding, so as you can imagine, lots of rituals, colors, people and crazy energy. After the engagement session, we felt really comfortable and knew exactly what to expect for the wedding. Jerome made things so easy and so smooth. For a stressed-out bride planning everything herself, it felt great knowing the photography was something I didn’t have to worry about. Jerome made my husband and I feel so comfortable on our wedding day and was able to capture the feel of our wedding/reception.Finding a photographer in the midst of a pandemic was extremely stressful , but he suggested doing a zoom meeting (first time I had one suggest that usually it was just a phone call) and right away he made us feel so comfortable and we were laughing during the whole thing. Both my husband and I are camera shy, but he made the whole process fun! He was very flexible to accommodate the changes that kept popping up and was respectful of everyone at the wedding and reception. My husband and I were joking because he was zipping everywhere during the reception and even was able to get photos of me sneaking off to cuddle my baby niece!! These photos are a treasure and I couldn't imagine having anyone else shoot my wedding day!!

Jerome is the best photographer that I've seen or heard! He goes above and beyond to make your day special. I'm very shy and reserved so I was worried that my true smiling face or natural pose might not come out, but Jerome made it so easy for me to get comfortable in front of the camera so quick, and I had so much fun all around! Not only he does his researches up front about the venue and the photo shoot area, but he also thinks of different poses and angle that captures the best sides of you. He also works very quickly and thoroughly to deliver the pictures afterwards, and very communicative throughout the entire process. He was so calm and polite and most of all put me and my husband's opinion at first. He truly did his best to accommodate us and we really appreciated it. Our experience with Jerome was great and the photos he produced are incredible! We had an intimate ceremony and wanted a photographer with experience shooting at our venue and willing to work with our budget. Our wedding coordinator highly recommended Jerome and we contacted him right away. He was very helpful, informative, and easy to talk to during planning. Quick and responsive with communication and adapted well despite set-backs and restrictions due to CO-VID. He is very attentive when capturing special moments and has a great eye for catching the small details and intimate interactions of our guests. While we shot our portraits, his professionalism and extensive knowledge and experience really shined through and we felt at ease that our photos would turn out amazing. It was also a lot of fun and laughter while we shot our photos with family and friends. After the wedding, Jerome kept in touch regarding his progress of our photos; teasers of one of our portraits, and then a link to his website that had a small picture overview of the big day. We did not expect these ‘progress reports’ from him, but we definitely appreciate that he kept us updated and it is one of the key reasons for this most deserved 5-star review. Jerome Tso's work is absolutely stunning. As soon as we laid eyes on his portfolio, we knew we wanted him to document our wedding! He was wonderful from the point of contact all the way to sending us our photo gallery. He was very communicative and prompt with emails and planning leading up to our wedding. Day of, he arrived right when we were about to take shots and immediately jumped into photographing. He was very flexible, professional, and made us feel at ease. We had chosen several locations to take pictures and were a bit behind schedule, but we made it work and got tons of photos of us at each location. He really added to the day's merriment. To get our sunset photos, we had to book it a little and Jerome was such a good sport about it. We had such a blast working with him and would recommend him for any photoshoot!

Jerome is the best photography I even worked with. He is very friendly and very easy to communicate. His website does list different style of wedding pictures to fit international culture difference. Personally both of me and my wife are Chinese, we does have some concern before meeting with Jerome. Jerome definitely made our wedding so memorable, and now we have lots of amazing photos to refresh our special day in the future.

I cannot say enough great things about Jerome Tso. He did such an incredible job photographing our 3 day fusion Indian/Chinese wedding. Jerome was very organized and calm throughout our wedding process. He asked insightful questions to get to know the two of us, which made my husband and I feel very comfortable around him. He was incredibly hard working and was constantly present photographing our events for their entirety. He has a natural talent for both directing crowds of people, while still blending into the background, so that his presence does not interfere with the event itself. He came prepared with ideas of where to take our pictures and posed us in ways that felt natural and ended up photographing beautifully! The finished product (almost 3900 photos) turned out even better than we could have ever imagined. His pictures were truly able to capture the energy, beauty, and feel of every single one of our events. One unique attribute that Jerome has is that not only did he take the time to get to know the two of us as a couple, but also managed to get to know all of our extended family. I was so incredibly impressed how he managed to learn the names of both of our families (he must have easily learned 30+ names!). I would highly recommend Jerome as a photographer for all weddings, but particularly Indian ones as well. He already knew all the important parts of an Indian wedding ceremony and was able to photograph them beautifully. Overall, Jerome did a fantastic job photographing our wedding. Jerome is an exceptional person and photographer. He did our engagement session and wedding photos, and my husband and I couldn't be happier with the pictures from both. It was such a pleasure to work with Jerome from the beginning of the process to the end and we couldn't be happier with our photos!! He is a true professional and was so efficient on the day of the wedding, keeping us on schedule to capture all of the shots we wanted and more. He knew exactly when and where we were supposed to be at all times. He and his second photographer that day, Brian, seemingly captured every little moment without us hardly noticing they were there during the ceremony and reception. We were initially a little wary about having a second photographer as it was an unknown for us how well they would work together and which photographer would get which shots, but Jerome coordinated everything extremely well and Brian did a top notch job also. The volume, variety, and quality of photos we got really amazed us, from dramatic posed shots to artful photos of the venue/decor and many well-time candids. The experience and talent Jerome displayed in utilizing a variety of skills and photography styles was just so impressive. All of the photos were tastefully edited as well. It is so nice to be able to go back and relive our wedding day through all of the pictures and we will always be grateful to Jerome for that. We can’t recommend him enough!!!

Jerome Tso was an amazing photographer to work with. He was always punctual and very responsive to emails for setting up photo sessions. Because of his great professionalism, he seemed more like a friend to us. He made our photoshoots so fun, we kept wanting more! He was so patient and never made us feel awkward (which is really important if you're not used to being in front of a camera for hours). He takes pride in his work, so he will never cut any corners. Jerome is simply wonderful! We had him took both our engagement and wedding photos. He was such a delightful photographer to work with! He knows how to prompt us to show our genuine expressions and was always very encouraging and helpful to make us feel comfortable and confident in front of the camera and the crowd. The pictures are definitely better than we expected even though we had high expectations:) Jerome can always find the interesting and beautiful shots in common scenes. The wedding pictures put us to tears again when we saw them, and I really want to thank Jerome for doing a great job recording those beautiful lifetime memories for us so that we can relive those moments again! He captured many of the details such as guest emotions that we did not notice during the busy wedding day. He was also very responsible and was staying late trying to take portraits for us when we were in different clothing. He made sure that every moment worth seen and kept was captured well. I am a huge fan on Jerome (he has been the photographer for 3 of my friend’s weddings), so when I found out he wasn’t available for our wedding date I was bummed. However, we were able to work out a package that included Jerome doing our engagement shoot, and a couple of his associates doing our wedding day. Jerome was involved throughout the process with editing and in-person meetings, and he even gifted us a high-quality guest book! We were also SO happy with the associates Brian and Janet - they were both very personable and talented, and they were consistent with Jerome’s style while having their own artistic lens. Plus it all ended being more affordable which is a plus. Thank you Jerome and associates!

When you speak with Jerome you know you are speaking with an true professional of his field. He released our photos in a very timely fashion and they were spectacular! I recommend Jerome to all of my friends and you as well, because he made our wedding memorable.

Absolutely wonderful! My husband and I got married this last February and we were beyond blessed to have Jerome photograph our wedding! He not only did an outstanding job but was extremely easy to work with! He worked very hard every minute of our wedding so as not to miss any candid moment with anyone celebrating with us. I would recommend him to anybody looking to hire a photographer to capture their special day!

Jerome has done a fantastic job for my engagement and wedding. What is great about him is that he is able to make you look great by telling you how to pose. This is great if you don’t know how to. Jerome is also a hard worker. For our wedding day, Jerome had worked in the morning all the way for the evening in four different locations. He had even car pooled my wife and I file some of the spots. Jerome knows great spots in the Seattle area, and knows the photogenic spots at those locations. If you have a particular spot in mine, he probably knows that spot. He offers a great package for the price that includes a thumb drive for your pictures, his top picks in 4x6 print that come in a small wooden box, hosting backups on his website to share with family and friends, Jerome is extremely busy, and it is recommend to book him far in advance once you got your date and venues picked. I only have a couple of gripe. One is with the wedding book which had a price higher than the engagement book. Granted it has wonderful design and paper quality, I’d rather prefer a traditional design. One concern was his suggestion for doing laughter poses. For my wife and I, we both felt the pictures turned out hokey and not natural. One thing to be away and may ask or not if he’s going to test new technical work. Some of our pictures turned out with mistakes. But overall, I’d pick Jerome again for our wedding. He was also our pick for our other family’s weddings too. We felt he did great work for all of those event. And he had definitely improved his technique over the years, and definitely better results. While he may charge a larger price than newer photographers, know it is outstanding quality. And you only get married once so you don’t want to regret missing the small moment for your big day. We were SO thrilled to have gotten to work with Jerome for our wedding! We loved his photography style from the moment we visited his website - he has an eye for color, landscape, and composition that we loved and that really set his pictures apart from the other work we saw. He was an absolute pleasure to work with through the whole process. He was always extremely timely in his responses and was patient with us as we developed the wedding timeline. The day of the wedding, a couple surprises threw a wrench in some of our timing and planning, but Jerome just adapted to everything with no problem. We were worried that we would feel awkward being on camera, but Jerome is such a sweet and nice person who's easy to be around, and he completely charmed us, our parents, and the whole bridal party. We chose a pretty dramatic outdoor location for our wedding and wanted pictures that reflected the beautiful location, and Jerome did an amazing job finding creative settings and locations, during the day and at night, that just took our breath away. We cannot recommend Jerome enough as a talented and creative photographer who's a pleasure to work with and a joy to be around!

Jerome is absolutely phenomenal and I would highly recommend entrusting him with your wedding day. He has a unique look to his photos and when we first saw his work, we knew we wanted him. For our engagement photos, we were both really nervous as we are not a photogenic couple, but he made us feel at ease by cracking some jokes and talking basketball with my then fiancé. The photos came out wonderfully and he provided us with a guest book with the photos for our guests to sign at the wedding. On the wedding day, he was very attentive even helping my nephew get ready and he drove us back to our hotel after the wedding.He took so many wonderful photos and printed his favorites out for us and provided us with a keepsake box. Our guests loved him and we would hire him again in a heartbeat! Thanks again Jerome!

When I first started looking for a photographer I wanted someone who could take pictures that I would never be able to no matter how much experience in photography I had. When I saw his portfolio I knew that Jerome would deliver that and more. And I was right! From start to finish Jerome was professional, incredibly genuine, hardworking, and so easy to work with. On the day of the wedding he made taking pictures stress free and so much fun! My wedding party had an amazing time working with him as well and he made everyone feel so comfortable that all of the photography was natural. My husband, who generally doesn’t like posed photography loved working with Jerome and Jerome caught sides of him that have never been captured in photos! Jerome has the knack for catching the moments that you exactly want and will treasure for years to come. His photography is brilliant, colorful, unique, creative, and absolutely memorable and he always goes above and beyond what you would ever expect. Hire him ASAP you won’t regret it!

We absolutely loved working with Jerome! He's a truly talented photographer and a kind, genuine person. After a successful initial meeting, my fiancé and I agreed that we had to hire him! Going into our engagement shoot, we were naturally dealing with a few nerves but Jerome knew just what to do and how to stage/encourage us into natural poses. The engagement shoot gave us the confidence boost we needed for our wedding, and went into it feeling so comfortable and at ease with Jerome and his assistant on the big day. He even puts a guest book with engagement photos and a box with prints of approximately 100 wedding photos together that's included in the package. In our eyes, he was worth every penny. Thanks to Jerome, our wedding day was captured perfectly.

Jerome is a fantastic photographer and an even better WEDDING photographer. By that I mean that he was able to both take amazing pictures of us (for both our engagement photo session and our wedding) but was also able to meet with us multiple times, travel to different venues for our engagement photos, learn the names of our bridal party seemingly effortlessly, and expertly manage to get dozens of people to pose quickly. If you take nothing else away from this review, it is this: Jerome is the best! We got married in July at Salish Lodge and Spa in Snoqualmie, which is a venue he had photographed prior to our wedding. He helped immensely with advice about wedding day scheduling, settings, and always watched out for opportunities to take great photos. My only regret is that we weren't able to use him for our engagement shoot as well. We will definitely be working with him for our other photography needs. Not only did my husband and I feel confident in his skill and professionalism, but we also felt comfortable with him. It was like having a friend there making the pictures fun, and making you feel at ease. In addition to capturing details of my dress, jewelry, shoes etc. - he captured precious details and moments of various interactions with our family and friends. My husband and I put a lot of thought and value into the photography part of the wedding, we wanted (and have) no regrets when we looking back on them. He was very flexible and worked with us on customizing a photography package that was tailored to what we wanted for our small wedding. We could not be any happier with Jerome and the wedding photos he's given us. Thank you so much for capturing our day so beautifully, Jerome!

Jerome did a wonderful job with capturing our special event!! He patiently accommodated all of our requests and went above and beyond to make sure we were happy and satisfied with our pictures. Jerome is a perfectionist and he sat with us for hours to execute our vision just the way we wanted. Jerome was very professional, easy to work with, and genuinely kind. We went through trial runs with a few different photographers but Jerome was far and above the best photographer. By the time we went through our engagement session, we were blown away by the beautiful photographs. Jerome is very skilled at finding the best lighting and artistic shots. When our wedding day came around, we had a very busy day planned but again Jerome went above and beyond to get beautiful shots and capture every memory of our big day. We were very pleased with the photos and we are still receiving compliments on the photos from family and friends. We loved Jerome's work so much so we asked him to do a 1st year anniversary shoot as well and he once again was very flexible and professional with making sure we got amazing shots. Jerome is the best photographer! We had over 28 people in our wedding party and he memorized all their names and gave great direction! He is amazing at what he does and takes the stress off the day! There really are no words to describe how amazing Jerome’s photography is.  His work is unbelievable.  He is not only the most talented photographer that my husband and I have ever met but he’s just an awesome guy.  He’s extremely easy to work with and will do whatever he needs to make sure you get epic shots and capture all the memories of your special day. Once we met with Jerome we knew we wanted to work with him based on his amazing portfolio and his easy-going disposition. Jerome also knows the wedding industry in and out which helped so much throughout the entire wedding planning process. From climbing rocks to crouching on the ground, he does whatever he can for breathtaking shots! We hired Jerome to do our engagement photos and were blown away when we got them back.   How are our wedding photos going to top them, we thought?  Well, they did and they exceeded every expectation.  Our friends and family have not stopped raving over how amazing the photos turned out.  We did not hire a videographer for the wedding with the exception of getting some raw footage of the ceremony.  We were so worried that we would regret this but didn’t have it in our budget.  When we got our photos back, the regrets were gone.  Jerome captured every single moment of our wedding. Jerome knows what he’s doing and we’re so grateful that we hired him for our big day.  We cannot wait for more life events so Jerome can continue to capture our amazing memories!!

Jerome is amazing. Plain and simple. Not only are his photography skills exceptional, so is his fun-loving, easy going personality. My husband and I hired him to photograph our wedding and we couldn't be happier with the results. He truly captured the magic of our day and the location itself. He didn't miss a single detail. Looking back through the photos, I saw things I hadn't even had the opportunity to appreciate in person with all of the wedding chaos.
