your special day. And does everything to make it feel as such. She (and the band) satisfied any requests we had during the planning stages.
I already had very high expectations based on what I'd read and seen of the band. Somehow they exceeded them.
First of all, if you're on the fence about using a band vs a DJ. Just go with a band, it's worth it, it's worth it, it's worth it.
Second, once you've decided you're going to use a band, just stop looking and give Stacey a call to book The Jerry Ross Band.
Weddings are expensive no matter what, if you're going to spend all that money, you want to make sure your guests will have a good time, with the JRB you will know for sure that they will.
Not only was the setlist great, the skills of the musicians will leave your guests with their jaws on the floor.
Stacey and the other members did an absolutely fantastic job in the emceeing duties as well, from the entrances to speeches to first dances, the guests were all kept engaged and encouraged to participate.
The dance floor was FULL the entire night, we've all seen it before when you attend a wedding and that effort was put in and the place is emptied out by 930pm. I promise that won't happen to you if you go with The Jerry Ross Band. They don't just stand up there and play, they get your guests involved and make sure they're having fun.
Early in the night I lost track of how many of my guests commented that it was the best band they've ever seen at a wedding. If you want a step above TJRB you'll have to call Stevie Wonder himself and see if he's available.
I've done my best but words can hardly describe how good of a job they did. Seriously, stop looking and call them, you will not regret it.

Having a Detroit wedding, we wanted a "Motown" band, and boy, did Jerry Ross Band deliver. Their energy, excitement, and talent was thrilling for us and our guests.
Also, we had a few of their musicians for our Ceremony, and the violin and piano combo took our breath away. It set the mood perfectly (which was much more serious) and added a layer that was so special.
HIGHLY recommend if you want the best party ever!

My husband and I live in the New York area and half our guests came to Toledo, Ohio from the east coast. When our guests learned our wedding would be in Toledo, there were some general groans and complaints about leaving the city that never sleeps to go to Ohio. Needless to say, The Jerry Ross Band showed them that the Midwest is the best! Everyone was absolutely blown away with them and declared them the best wedding band ever.
Although I may be a little biased because it was my wedding, I do consider myself a professional wedding guest at this point in my life and I can honestly say that there has not been a single wedding I have been to that had a band as talented as them.

Bottom line- if you are getting married in the Midwest and want your guests to be raving about your wedding non stop as the most fun one they've ever been to- hire the Jerry Ross Band.
