Ceremonious Strings performed at my daughter’s wedding ceremony and cocktail hour on Saturday, September 14, 2024. As I walked down the aisle, the music selection and the strings of music I was listening to brought tears to my eyes which I never in a million years expected to happen since I don’t usually cry on happy occasions. Any questions or concerns I ever had, Jamie always answered promptly and professionally. She was a sheer pleasure to work with. I promise you, her and her team will not disappoint when you book her for your wedding/event. Their music made the day that so much more extra special…don’t hesitate if you are thinking of booking them for your wedding/event, you don’t want them to already have your date booked. This may be the only time I say I wish I had another daughter (lol) so I could book Ceremonious Strings again!!! Love, love, love them!! Call now you won’t be sorry! :)

I knew I wanted Ceremonious Strings after two of my best friends had used them for their own weddings. Every single wedding (including our own!) was AMAZING. I had always dreamed of walking down the aisle to string music and having it at my cocktail hour as well – they are so incredibly talented (and organized!) and completely set the tone for the day. And for a small additional fee, they even learned Closer by the Chainsmokers for my husband to walk down the aisle to (made his day). THANK YOU to the Ceremonious Strings team for being absolutely perfect.

We first heard Ceremonious Strings play at the menu tasting at Ashford Estate earlier this year and loved their sound and breadth of song selection. So we decided to ask them to play for our wedding ceremony and they did an outstanding job. Their website made it easy to sign up and you have many options in terms of the number of players and instruments. The depth and breadth of song selection allowed us to select both current and classical pieces for the guest arrival and the ceremony. Jamie & her team at Ceremonious Strings were fantastic! From the booking process to delivery wedding day, they could not have made the process easier. There is an abundance of samples and library of music to choose from, and even offer custom pieces if sheet music is available. The trio sounded fantastic and played music through both my ceremony and cocktail hour. It was a lively, wonderful addition and a pleasure having them for my wedding!

I never grew up picturing my future wedding — I just wasn’t like that. I did, however, know that if I got married, I wanted live strings to play for the ceremony. Whatever expectations I had, were so far and away exceeded. Jaime and the other musicians were so professional, so pitch perfect, and so accommodating. They were even open to learning a new song for me if we had wanted it. I went with a rather non-traditional song for my walk with my dad. It was from Lord of the Rings and could have easily been seen as funny, but they played with so much emotion that I had comments all night about how absolutely beautiful the song was. At the last minute, I was even able to extend their playing through cocktail hour and they didn’t balk at all. Again, just amazing.

From booking to wedding day, working with Ceremonious strings was easy, seamless and a pleasure! The string trio sounded so beautiful for our ceremony and cocktail hour, it was the perfect classy touch to the day that I envisioned. Ceremonious Strings were amazing! People loved the strings for the ceremony and cocktail. It provided a very elegant touch to the wedding. And the best part about Ceremonious Strings is they play a lot of pop songs (think vitamin string quartet from Bridgerton) which added a fun modern twist. Jaime was also great to work with! I picked a recessional song that she didn’t have the music for and she purchased the music for me and had the group practice prior to the wedding. I am so glad I hired Ceremonious Strings.

My husband found Ceremonious Strings through Facebook when we were starting to plan our wedding. I reached out to Jaime in June of 2021 for our December 2022 wedding, from the start she was a pleasure to work with. She is so sweet and kind to speak to and communicates everything promptly via email or through their portal. She is also very fair in her pricing which is why this became an easy decision to book Ceremonious Strings.  We booked the Trio + Harp for our ceremony and then the Trio for our cocktail hour. The portal they give you access to is so user friendly and easy to work. It allows you to enter all your details and then choose some songs you would like requested or not played at all. I really enjoyed using that platform as it made for no errors of communication.  This ended up being one of our most favorite things to have at our wedding even though we did not get to enjoy their beautiful music as much as our guests. Our guests raved about the music and told us how beautiful it was and that it was nice to hear songs they recognized. We only hope we get to attend a wedding Ceremonious Strings are at one day so we can fully enjoy all of it. If you are debating hiring string musicians for your event, look no further. This is your company.

We cannot say enough good things about Ceremonious Strings. They added such an elegant and romantic touch to our ceremony. They made it feel so elevated and beautiful. I would highly recommend also including their music in your cocktail hour. Not only was it lovely and added elegance to the hour dedicated to food and drinks, but it was so stress-free not having to come up with a playlist for cocktail hour. Our dj appreciated it too because he could focus on getting ready for the reception! You will not regret booking this team!!

I wish I could give Jaime and her team more then a 5 star rating. As a fellow vendor in the field I know how stressful and long this 2022 wedding season was. I just got married on 12/16 and I can't even put into words how perfect my day was and how special it was to have Jaime and her team play during my ceremony and cocktail hour. I wanted a very different song for my recessional and jaime right away had no issues making it happen. Her and her team are extremely talented and professional. If you are thinking of adding on musicians to your big day, ceremonious strings is the way to go.

I booked a string duo (cello & violin) for my wedding. I had Both Jaime and Sue play and they were phenomenal. Their talent is unmatched. Which you can hear by The passion they put into their playing . They have an awesome mix of different types of music from oldies, newbies, and fun songs to throw in! I had so many compliments on their playing and the music choices! They played both of my sisters’ weddings and there was no question to book them for mine.
