I was born and raised in the beautiful Blue Mountains, NSW, Australia. I nurtured a passion for arts, creativity, and style at a young age. When I was old enough, I moved to Sydney and took in all that this cosmopolitan city could offer. After many years of living in that wonderful city, I met the love of my life. It's a great story if you ever want to hear it. :) Alas, he is an American, so a decision on a location has to be made. I decided to pack up and move to an even larger, wonderful city and marry. During this time, I was finding my direction and started using my creativity and art to paint faces. This was a remarkable moment for me as I knew this was what I wanted to do but didn't know how great it would be. I studied and became certified in facial artistry at a leading Long Island beauty institute. Then 'Jesella Beauty' was born. Now, in its 14th year, it is going wonderfully, and I continue to learn and attend seminars and courses and create new styles as I go. My goal as a make-up artist is to enhance a person's natural beauty, not to hide it. It gives me great pleasure to see my client exude confidence as she leaves my chair. There are so many different styles of make-up and hair, and there are plenty of examples here and on all my social media pages. Tamara is so fantastic!! She made myself and all of my bridesmaids and my mom look like models! She’s so nice, professional, punctual and so talented! I can’t recommend her enough!

Tamara and her team did an amazing job with the hair and makeup for me and my bridal squad on my wedding day. She did exactly what we all wanted and even made amazing suggestions for the girls who had no clue what to do! Our hair and makeup stayed on for the next 14 hours. I cannot thank this team enough!

To start, Tamra is INCREDIBLY talented! Her hair and makeup skills are unsurpassed. We booked her to do hair and makeup for 6 people on the day of my wedding (and added a 7th last minute) and she and her artist Kristen made us all look and feel so beautiful! I was really hoping for a natural look because I don’t typically wear makeup, and Tamara hit it out of the park. My skin looked so clear and gorgeous and my hair stayed in tact all night!!! She is so seriously talented and also so kind! She has such a positive aura that really added to the good vibes of the morning.
If you are looking for a hair and makeup artist for your wedding, book Tamara immediately!!! You will not be disappointed!

I am so happy we found Tamara for my wedding. My hair and makeup were everything i could have asked for and more. People were amazed that i still looked perfect after sweating on the dance floor all night. And she is lovely!! All my girls looked great and had nice things to say. Highly highly reccomend. Tamara is a true artist- my girls and I all looked great! Her and her team are really skilled with the airbrush. Ive been in weddings and had airbrushing where my face was very clearly a different color than the rest of me, like I was wearing a mask. Not with Jesella Beauty though! We all had a wonderful natural look, and all of our hair looked beautiful. Tamara really listened to me and made my vision a reality, she was so sweet and professional. She really made me look like the best version of myself, I truly felt beautiful.

Tamara is amazing! She did my hair and makeup and my mom’s hair and makeup for my wedding and it came out perfect. The makeup looked so natural and beautiful and she did my hair exactly how I envisioned. It was so easy and relaxing to work with her on the wedding day- I couldn’t recommend her enough.

These ladies were awesome and they work so quick! Our wedding was during COVID but we had no worries because we knew proper precautions were being taken. Everything was sanitized, the staff wore masks. They arrived on time and go right to work! The hairstyles and makeup for me and my bridal party lasted all night. Even when we had to wear a mask, the makeup didn't budge and the fake lashes stuck on strong. I received lots of compliments on the makeup especially! Great, quality service and a reasonable price!

I am so happy I found Tamara of Jesella Beauty! She is simply amazing! I got married last month and she works total magic! I initially found her through a friend, and after I saw her pictures I had to schedule a trial for myself. And I highly recommend doing one. The trial was very relaxed and Tamara addressed all my needs and concerns for hair and makeup for my big day. My bridal party was small, so I only needed a few people to get their hair and makeup. She brought along a second artist, and she also did such an amazing job! These ladies were very professional and captured everyone’s vision. Also, with Covid-19 they were sanitary and mindful of their jobs. I highly recommend going to Jesella beauty if you want a wonderful hair and makeup artist for your special day!

Tamara was amazing to work with and made me and my bridesmaids feel so beautiful on my wedding day. After my makeup trial, I had decided I still wanted to make some tweaks for the wedding day, and she was completely understanding of that. Tamara was able to recreate the exact look I wanted, even though the photo I provided wasn't super close-up or detailed. She was able to give me helpful feedback about lipstick color and hair extensions as well. Tamara and her team also work quickly, and they were able to get me and all my girls done by our scheduled photo start time. A few of the bridesmaids commented that they wish their own wedding makeup artists/hair stylists had been as good as Tamara and her team. She is also a pleasure to talk to and couldn't be nicer.

I am the mother of the Bride and Tamara and her crew worked such magic for my daughter's wedding. All of my daughter's bridesmaids have been in so many weddings and all 9 bridesmaids could not have been more complimentary of Tamara and her team. They were patient, creative, and so attentive to detail. They created sheer beauty that was understated but brought out the beauty in each and every bridesmaid, MOB and our beautiful 90 year old grandmother. Nothing was over done and the pictures were amazing.....This is my fourth wedding and feel Tamara was by far our best make-up and hair artist. I have no hesitation in recommending her to everyone. She really listens and enhances everyones inner beauty.

Tamara at Jesella Beauty is truly amazing! She was really great to work with, very responsive and helpful! She was so patient with me throughout the trial and made myself each of my bridesmaids look beautiful! We had 100 degree weather and even with outdoor pictures everyone’s make up stayed perfect throughout the night. I would highly recommend Tamara to any bride!!

My cousin looked absolutely gorgeous at her wedding so once I got engaged I asked her for her makeup artist's contact information and she introduced me to Tamara at Jesella Beauty! I don't wear a lot of makeup but for my trial (which I wore to my bridal shower) Tamara did such a natural and beautiful look!
For my wedding day I had 8 bridesmaids, my mom, and myself, and despite the large number of girls, Tamara and her assistant did a beautiful look for each one, and everyone was happy!! I am so grateful to Tamara for making me feel beautiful on my wedding day, as well as for her calm and cheery demeanor while we were getting ready. I plan to go back to Jesella Beauty for the next event I have!

Tamara is amazing. She did my girls makeup and my mother and myself. Everyone loved it and a couple of my girls are going to be using her for their weddings next year! She is super friendly and great to work with not to mention my makeup came out beautiful! I highly recommend her!

I had a bit of a difficult time finding a makeup artist for the big day, but as soon as I had my trial with Tamara, I felt a huge sigh of relief! She is professional, talented, and truly an artist at what she does. I had the airbrushing done, which gave my skin a flawless appearance and lasted all day, even through the August heat. My bridesmaids all loved their looks too! I felt beautiful and confident, which every bride knows is the key to starting your wedding day off right! I would absolutely recommend Tamara to all of my friends and family in the future.

Tamara was awesome! My makeup was flawless even until the wee hours of the morning. I was so comfortable with Tamara from my trial to the big day! She is super sweet and very calm. My bridesmaids looked incredible. Her airbrushing and lashes are completely flawless.

I used Tamara for my September 19 th wedding and she was absolutely phenomenal ! I am not the type of person who usually wears a ton of make up and I was concerned because the last thing I wanted was to not look like myself on my wedding day. When I met Tamara all my fears went away, I went for my trial and she spent an hour with me talking about my skin and helping me pick the best makeup to match my skin tones. She did airbrush makeup for me on my wedding day and it was flawless. My makeup stayed on all day without smudging and I got so many compliments. She also did my MOH my sister and my moms makeup and they could not be happier, my MOH even plans on using her for her own wedding. I would highly recommend her she is so sweet and very patient I could not have been happier with the final product.

Tamara is the GREATEST! She did my wedding makeup and I looked better than I ever had in my life! (if I do say so myself, lol). We did a trial and she made the requested changes on the day of. She also did two of my bridesmaids and my mom and she did a GREAT job with them as well. I cannot possibly recommend her enough!

Tamara is outstanding when it comes to makeup. From the first trial until the day of the wedding she was outstanding, supportive, offering suggestions and constantly making me feel like I was the princess for my big day. She is very versatile when it comes to make up so any style you like I guarantee you she will please! She was so flexible about me having to reschedule due to Hurricane Sandy. She worked with my bridesmaids and made each one look gorgeous accenting their natural beauty. She was fabulous working with my hair stylist Dawn (Hair by Dawn East Meadow). Tamara is friendly, kind, and has a very calming personality that will ease any stress you have of planning a wedding.

Tamara of Jesella Beauty did my makeup as well as that of my mother and maid of honor and did a fabulous job! Everyone commented on how I glowed on my wedding day! ...a few said I looked like a princess which was an added bonus ! Tamara did a great job perfecting everyone's makeup style so that they looked amazing for the wedding. She made my skin look flawless and my eyes looked so blue from her perfected smoky eyes!
