Jeslyn was super friendly, fun, and had wonderful ideas. It was super important to us that we had a photographer that would be great to work with, personality wise, that we felt really comfortable and natural with and that wouldn't make it about their work or portfolio - they would know that it was our day and they were there to fit into it seamlessly - and Jeslyn did E all of the above! She also had packages that fit into our backyard wedding budget!

She is amazing! I would her again and again for every amazing moment that me and my future family will create! She captured the most wonderful day of my life. Jeslyn went above and beyond to provide us not only photos, but a great addition to the bride getting ready and getting down the aisle! I highly recommend hiring her!

Jeslyn is excellent! So kind and has such a positive attitude all the time. She’s get her job done and does it so well! Will definitely book with her again! One of the best experiences I’ve ever had with a photographer!!

Jeslyn was great while planning…until my wedding day. She made the entire day way more stressful than it needed to be from the very beginning while we were getting ready. She acted as my planner when it came to scheduling even though we had a wedding planner who was well aware of the schedule. We were running a few minutes behind on makeup and she insisted we take bridesmaids photos while my MOH was still getting her makeup done but assured me she could photoshop her in. She didn’t. So I have zero photos of my MOH in the “getting ready” pictures. When we arrived at the venue to take bridesmaids photos, we were yet again rushed (even though we had plenty of time before the ceremony) resulting in very limited photos of the girls, and the poses she had us do were awful. We had so much time after this that we sat waiting for the ceremony for 45 minutes during which she got makeup on my dress and proceeded to blame it on my MOH. During the ceremony, she’s visible in several shots of my husband & I at the altar. Post-wedding, family photos were also rushed. So rushed that we missed out on getting some of the photos we had put on a list. And when I asked if we could take one with an additional family member she seemed less than pleased. At this point I was pissed and that didn’t change for the remainder of our time with her. Following family photos we took full bridal party pictures where I had to say “can we take one of the full party” because she was rushing our party away to get to bride & groom portraits. Beyond me that I even had to remind her to take this photo? We then proceeded to take bride & groom portraits and she made a comment about how our ceremony was extremely religious. Which was offensive because yes, we are religious and it’s also our wedding so it can be as religious as we want because it’s not your day! We took a lottt of bride & groom portraits and were especially excited about the sunset shots since we missed 30 minutes of our reception to take these and the sunset was beautiful, only to get the album and not a single one be included. Which brings me to my next point. When we got our album, there was not a single photo of our entire bridal party — people were cut out of the frame in 1 and there was a camera in the middle of the shot in another. Same with bridesmaids photos, the photos we got of had people cut out. When I explained my disappointment because I thought these were pretty obvious asks, she made me feel like I was crazy. She eventually sent a few photos that we requested but the only photo added of our entire bridal party had the worst photoshop job I’ve ever seen (see photo, I would be so embarrassed to send that to a client.) Our associate shooter (@lyssjordan) was incredible — the photos she took of my husband and the groomsmen are amazing. It was clearly obvious my husband and I connected with her more than Jeslyn because she made a comment “yall should have just hired Alyssa” and when her time to leave came Jeslyn asked us if we wanted her to stay. To which we awkwardly laughed because what do you say? Not a single person involved in our wedding party or family had good things to say about Jeslyn — she was rude, made all of us feel rushed and stressed out, and seemed like she wanted to get in and out. Do yourself a favor and don’t book Jeslyn unless you want to feel anxious on your most special day.
