I’m jess, and I’m in love with the unexpectedly beautiful, imperfect, moments that make up our lives. I believe that we all want to live a meaningful story. One that is rich with joy, fun, laughter, and even the occasional tears. A story that when viewed in its entirety, makes apparent what we stand for, what we value, and how we want to be with each other. A story that is uniquely ours. As a mom, I am all too aware of how quickly time passes and I cherish opportunities to pause, notice, and appreciate the beauty unfolding around me. As a photographer, I get to hit the pause button on life. To savor the here and now: the HUMANESS of it all and to be able to go back and experience these moments again and again, for generations. I view my role as a photographer to create an experience that is comfortable, natural, and fun for my clients. Whether it’s celebrating your engagement, wedding, pregnancy, new little one, or any of the joy around and in between, I will guide you to be present to the moment and capture it all. When I’m not behind the camera or chasing around a toddler, I coach photographers, artists, professionals, and entrepreneurs to design businesses and careers that are personally meaningful and aligned with their core values or stay connected to their values during important life events and put those life events into the broader context of their story. I integrate my coaching mindset with my photography during photo sessions to make my clients feel comfortable and I offer various coaching packages in addition to or independent of any photo sessions. Being a part of your wedding is not about creating images for me, it’s about bearing witness to your day, your story, and being able to show you the beauty that you create just by being there. Weddings can be stressful, as your photographer and wedding coach, we’ll work together to identify and connect to what is most important to you. We’ll build a vision for your day and I’ll be there with you throughout the entire planning process to help you stay focused on that vision so that on the day of your wedding, you can be fully present and soak it all in. By the way, I believe that love is love and that everyone should celebrate it. I want everyone to feel represented with my work and I welcome clients of all backgrounds and religions and whatever a wedding means to you and your love, I will bear witness and capture all of the unique meaning and beauty you create.
