Jess was a dream to work with! From our engagement pics to the wedding, everything went smoothly. Her and her husband did a FABULOUS job at our wedding. We have only seen some preview pics, but they are amazing. She is so helpful and friendly and really takes the time to get to know her clients to make sure everyone is a good fit. I love her passion for what she does, it clearly shows in her work. I would highly recommend her for any pics you need done. She is the best!

My name is Jess with Jess Slater Photography, and I am a film wedding photographer based out of Missoula, Montana. My passion is capturing the most important moments in your life and giving you photos, you will cherish year after year.
Preparing for a wedding can be a lot of work, but I can help. With my wedding knowledge and scheduling expertise, I really invest so much in each of my couples. Through all of this, my hope is to build a friendship and have fun with you! Your wedding day is filled with so many precious moments that you will cherish for the rest of your life. That is why I want to get to know you so that I can beautifully document your love story with film and digital images.
All my packages include one complimentary engagement session, a one-hour consultation to work through the details, a personalized timeline of your wedding day, unlimited high-resolution edited images, a sharable online gallery, and printing rights for personal use.

he is great just to be around. Very friendly and personable. I know photographers need to try to make you feel comfortable around them to get good photos, but she was naturally easy to be around and get along with. My bridesmaids kept telling me how awesome she was and are still telling me how amazing the wedding photos are. She was friendly and professional throughout the entire day, and she was even a really big help up until the wedding. We booked her about a year and a half before our wedding, and she stayed in contact that entire time helping whenever I had questions. She even helped me with a timeline for the wedding day because I had no idea what I was doing. If you are thinking about booking her, absolutely do it. You won't be disappointed. She goes above and beyond and that definitely shows in her pictures.

She really has a way of making you feel comfortable in front of the camera. She does such a wonderful job capturing true smiles and laughter. She helped create our entire itinerary. Kept our day going smoothly. We had a large bridal party and it didn’t slow her down a bit. She was direct to keep the bridal party on track when need be. Her professionalism and down to earth personality made us feel comfortable with her. She really did make our day that much better and smoother.
