On the day of it was super hot in August, but it totally didn’t show! My hair and makeup looked amazing and lasted all day and night. The touch-up kit helped with my tears!

like an eternity, wedding planning (take two) was full speed ahead. When Jess did my hair and makeup trial she matched the inspo pics I provided perfectly. Then when I decided I wanted a different look she was so sweet about it, and rolled with it. I also added services two different times and my timeline kept changing, and again, Jess was understanding and easygoing about the situation.
The thing about hiring wedding vendors is that it's important to like them as people, since you'll be communicating with them a ton, and potentially spending quite a bit of them with them. I have to say, I am beyond happy Jess did my hair and make up on my wedding day. She has such a sweet and calming demeanor and wasn't rushing anything which I appreciated. She would stop applying make up while I would take some breaths to hold back tears, she was giving me pep talks and calmed me down tremendously.
My bridesmaids, mom, and flower girls all looked phenomenal the day of.

a little nervous that my makeup would run or may hair would flatten, but both stayed flawless throughout the entire event. Jess even provided us all with little touch-up kits so we could re-apply our makeup throughout the evening to keep looking fresh. During a high stress day where a lot of things didn't go as planned due to the weather, Jess was dependable and calm and I had confidence that she would make me look good.

Hello there! I’m Jess.
I am a Portland native who speaks español I love being a mommy, the outdoors, animals, spicy food, (really all food) and spending time hanging out with my family and friends. I became interested in bridal about six years ago when I worked in a hair salon in Downtown Portland. I have worked over a dozen weddings and love all of the different wedding styles. To me working on weddings isn't just a job it is a chance to make some great memories!
