I had my granddaughter (she's 29) talk to him also, as well as some other photographers, and she was very comfortable with Jesse. So it was a go. And he was an excellent choice. He was professional, on time, unobtrusive, but there at all the right moments. He captured everything and although of course there were formal portraits, he really captured the emotions, the happiness, joy and real feelings of the guests as well as the bride and groom and wedding party. There were plenty of candid shots which we really wanted. He found the fun and the silliness, the laughter and the tears. You only get one shot at capturing the event - there are no redos. So you kind of cross your fingers and hold your breath and hope you made the right choice. Thank goodness we did. I thought his prices were very reasonable also. If I ever need a photographer in Southern California again, I'll call Jesse.
