I've been photographing weddings for almost 20 years, and it all started with hiring a friend to document our own day. All our film came back black…every shot, gone. All we have from that day are the photos our guests happened to take. That loss is what led me here, and it's still what drives every wedding I shoot: making sure my couples never feel that loss.
I'm currently based in Northern Maine, but I travel the entire state to wherever your love story takes you. I'm also a wife and mom to two teenagers, and an artist of many mediums outside of photography. If photos are your priority and are looking for someone that will be a guiding light while also preserving the essence of your celebration, I know we will be a great fit.

I felt completely confident we’d be in good hands i choosing her for our wedding photographer. That feeling was furthered when she and her second shooter friend met us in Boston for our engagement shoot. My husband and I are definitely that awkward couple in photos, and yet somehow we felt comfortable, confident, and had an absolute blast. Then we got the pictures back, and to say we were blown away is a complete understatement. Jess has a true gift. She knows how to capture things that you can’t even put into words. As we grew closer to our wedding day, the planning and coordination with her was an absolute dream. Fast forward to our wedding day, and we could not have been happier to see her (and to meet the incredible second shooter she brought!). They both just had this way of making us feel so special and captured all the feelings, emotions, and essence of the day. They were also so personable and fun which makes all the difference. Soon after the wedding Jess sent sneak peeks- and we were left utterly speechless. It was yet another reminder of how gifted she is, and how much time she spends making sure the images are what your vision is. We’re so excited for when the full gallery comes through!
