Hi beautiful brides-to-be! I’m Jess, the owner and lead makeup artist of Beauty and the Babes. I grew up having an eye for all things beauty. From playing beauty shop as a little girl to applying makeup on friends in high school, my love for makeup continued to grow. In 2015, I moved to Colorado from Northwest Indiana and attended the Esthetics program at Paul Mitchell. I became a licensed esthetician in March of 2016 and have been making bridal parties feel their most beautiful ever since! When I first started working in the wedding industry, it was just me doing makeup. As I started to grow, I met and hired a team of hairstylists and makeup artists, creating Beauty and the Babes ✨ Beauty and the Babes specializes in wedding and event hair and makeup. We offer traditional makeup, airbrush makeup and hairstyling services that include any and all styles. We specialize in “soft glam” and love enhancing our client’s natural beauty. Our artists are highly skilled, creative and hold a high level of expertise when it comes to wedding hair and makeup. Morgan was truly amazing! I don’t wear a lot of makeup so she guided me on what would look best with what I was wearing. I fully trusted her and the end result was stunning. My eyes were glowing. My hair was absolutely gorgeous and stayed all night!! (My hair is fine and usually falls very quickly). Morgan was very timely and was able to complete the bridesmaids and moms on schedule. Throughout the process, Jessica was a reliable communicator when coordinating dates for trials, getting ready location, timing, etc. I have so many great things to say about Morgan and Jessica. 10/10 would recommend!!!

I am so thankful I found Jessica and her team for my wedding day! I have been a bridesmaid many times before and often went throughout the day disliking my makeup or having to make touch ups, but Jessica, Morgan and Olivia made sure this wasn’t the case! All three HAMU stylists were amazing to work with. They helped myself and my bridesmaids feel amazing and they did an amazing job following the looks that my bridesmaids wanted. I have never received more compliments on my hair and makeup than I did on my wedding day, and I owe that to these girls! My makeup lasted all night long, even through a million pictures and hours on the dance floor! I can’t recommend them enough for your wedding day!!!

I have been in almost 10 weddings and they did the best makeup and hair that I have ever had! They are so friendly, personable and they take the time to ask what you want/show you the colors/ see if they can do anything to change it. Jessica is the BEST makeup artist I have ever worked with. When she showed me the mirror on my wedding day my makeup was better than I could of dreamed of, literally, without one thing to change. My bridesmaids told me that the coloring of my face was the best coloring they have ever seen! The eyeshadow, eyebrows, bronzer, blush, lips - everything was so perfect! and the hair, Morgan did AMAZING! I wanted it down with a braid and it was the most perfect braid and perfect amount of curls. I normally don't write reviews but want to share how amazing they did. Our mother's and bridesmaids' all looked GORGEOUS! USE THEM! Here are photos of their beautiful work!

Jessica made my wedding makeup dreams come true! Going into my trial, I did not have a ton of ideas, trusted Jessica completely & I could not of wished for a better outcome. On my actual wedding day, Jessica & her team were amazing with my bridal party & kept everyone on schedule with so much ease. My wedding makeup was even better than the trial & lasted through the entire night. I cannot recommend her & her team enough!

Jess and Morgan were awesome! They were the artists at both my trial and on the day of my wedding and I appreciated having that consistency so they knew what I wanted and what we had talked about from the trial. They had both made notes and taken photos at my trial so they could recreate the same look that I liked with the changes we discussed. They also did a fabulous job with my bridesmaids' hair and makeup and my mom's makeup. They got 4 people's hair and 5 people's makeup done in just 2 hours which was a feat!! I loved how I looked and my bridesmaids and mom loved their looks as well! For my makeup, I still looked like myself but just with some smoothing, evening and highlighting features. I loved my hair and Morgan gave me just the look I wanted with simple greenery added in!

I could not recommend Beauty and the Babes any more!! Working with Jessica and her team from beginning to end was a great experience. They did my bridal makeup and hair and whole bridal party hair and makeup as well, including my mom and mother in law! Every single person loved their overall look. I cannot recommend Jessica and her team enough. I was extremely nervous about getting my hair and makeup done for my wedding after having some bridesmaid looks (by other artists) that I just felt weren't very me. Jessica took the time to make sure I was comfortable with every aspect of the makeup and I have never felt more beautiful. Her team was able to give me the perfect natural look and also more glam looks for my friends who prefer a little more makeup! We also had a wide range of hairstyles and everyone looked amazing!

She was professional and helpful and made sure that my vision for my wedding hair and makeup came to fruition. She was punctual and efficient and flexible during the unexpected snow we got. My hair and makeup lasted the entire day and evening and was so pretty I hated removing it at the end of the night! I can't thank Morgan enough! I highly recommend her and Beauty and Babes!

Jessica met us at the hotel we were getting ready at and she did an amazing job on everybody. She is so kind and easy to work with and she had everyone looking stunning!! She listened to exactly how I wanted my bridal make up to be and she made me feel like a queen for my special day. Jessica is very quick to respond and was so helpful when we had a family emergency only a couple days before the wedding. Josiah stepped in last second to do our makeup and was ABSOLUTELY INCREDIBLE. I cannot say enough good things about our makeup and Josiah! We are two brides, and neither of us have ever looked or felt more beautiful! He listened to everything we wanted, made the mothers of the brides feel super comfortable, and went WAY above and beyond to help out throughout the afternoon. I will absolutely go back to Josiah again if I ever need an artist! Paige did our hair and was so sweet. My wasn't exactly what I'd imagined originally, but everything turned out lovely anyway, and my bride and the mothers looked perfect!

Jessica and Ida did an amazing job doing hair and makeup for myself and wedding party! They were kind, professional, great listeners and patient with us when we kept going back and forth on what types of hair and makeup styles we wanted to do (and we went back and forth a lot). Jessica was very knowledgeable about working with different skin types and concerns, her work not only made everyone look but feel their best and lasted all night. Ida did a great job with everyone’s hair and was able to accomplish the variety of hair styles my party wanted. As a bride who’s very self conscious, their work made me feel very put together and bridal while still feeling like myself. I’m so happy with how their work looked on the day of as well as how it looks in our pictures. I would definitely recommend Beauty and the Babe and use their services in the future!

I worked with Ida and Elizabeth for hair and makeup for my wedding. I went to Broomfield for my trial run - I came with a few ideas but wasn't quite sure what I wanted. They were able to run with it and did a wonderful job. I ended up going with regular makeup (not airbrush) based on their recommendation. On the day-of, I had a little hair tweak from my trial run, and they were able to make that change. Elizabeth and Ida are both very kind, chatty people that were a nice addition to my getting ready room! I thought the makeup looked wonderful in photos and stayed on well throughout the night. I will say that I asked for touch up makeup after first look, and that's not something they were able to accommodate, so if you cry a lot like I do, maybe just bring some touch up foundation! All in all, would recommend and use them again!

I changed my mind right before the wedding and said I wanted a lot more make up and lots of contour, as well as my hair half up and that’s exactly what they did. It was perfect and I’m so happy I used them!!!

Jessica and Elizabeth did a great job at both my trial and on the big day. My bridesmaids and I were just wanting to look a little more done-up than we normally do, which Jessica made sure of. Elizabeth did a beautiful job on our hair, and did her best to prolong the life of the curls she did in my very straight hair. Overall, I think they were great and though I wasn’t thrilled about the price of the trial since most other artists offered it at a discount or for free after booking, I’m glad I did it nonetheless because it helped me feel a lot more comfortable on my wedding day.

My makeup experience with Jessica was fantastic! I did a trial and day of makeup for myself, 5 bridesmaids, and 2 mothers. She was on time and very professional. Such an incredible experience with Jessica. Not only did she make the Bride and I feel like princesses she also made time to do the Maid of Honor's and the Bride's mother's makeup. She went above and beyond showing us the best way to apply our own lashes. She not only did our makeup; she also found us an amazing hair stylist. Proud mother of the Bride Jessica is an incredible young lady! I was a nervous wreck before my only daughters wedding but Jessica was calm and professional as she listened to what I wanted. Even after I changed appointment times and changed the look I wanted, she didn't disappoint. My makeup was flawless; and I was told I looked 10 years younger! Jessica is an amazing artist. I booked a trial with Jessica before my wedding, which was very helpful. In my trial, we talked about the exact look I wanted to go for and Jessica did exactly that! She is very thorough and I learned so much through the process. On my wedding day, she arrived early and was very meticulous with every bridesmaid and myself. I looked absolutely beautiful on my wedding day and my husband loved the way my makeup looked as well! Jessica was very easy, fun and such a pleasure to work with. Jessica arrived early (even for a 7:00 a.m. start time!) I loved the way Jessica applied my makeup. She was very attentive to my concerns and wishes and made suggestions based on my skin tone and bone structure and the outcome was amazing! The brides and bridesmaids all looked beautiful! Jessica was not only professional but also very easy going. I would definitely recommend Jessica for any occasion.
