Jessica Candage Glam Artist

Jessica gave me the exact look I wanted for my wedding day. She is quick and responsive, and works so efficiently that me and my bridal party were early getting ready! She worked absolute wonders on everyone, making everyone looks like they pictured. We had girls that wanted full glam and girls that wanted a natural look, and everyone was thrilled with how they looked and felt. I was very appreciative that Jessica was open to feedback about any changes I wanted to make, and her calm presence kept us cool day of. Thank you Jessica!

Jessica is a true professional, and an artist. She listened to exactly what I wanted on my wedding day, and made it happen. She knows how to glam up a bridal party so that you look like yourself, but better. She has an eye for what works for your skin type, eye shape etc. and makes the whole process seem so easy glamming you and your gals up! Best part, she is funny, and for me, that laid back demeanor just made the morning getting ready all the better. She is a class act, and I am so happy I booked her immediately once we set our date, and I would highly recommend for anyone looking to have her do their special day look to do the same thing! She's fantastic.

Jessica was amazing. I could not imagine having anyone else do my wedding makeup. She made me feel incredibly confident from when I first met her at my trial. She is just so talented and really is an artist. She's also super cool and funny to hang with, which is a major plus when you're spending 4-5 hours together day of getting ready. I would (and have already) recommended Jessica to all my friends who are getting married next year.

I would absolutely recommend Jessica for wedding hair and make-up. Jess and Ashley were professional, and kept everyone on schedule on the big day. Myself and bridesmaids got so many compliments on our make-up, and how long it lasted. My hair did fall a little after the ceremony, but that was probably weather related. They were both very talented and experienced!

Due yourself a favor and the minute you book your venue, immediately book Jessica. At least, that's what I did. As a fan of her work for years, I was so excited to have her be my makeup artist for my big day. Jessica's work is flawless, she truly makes your best features pop. Not to mention she's hilarious and kind. When you're sitting in her chair she makes the whole process so enjoyable. Another thing I really loved about working with Jessica was setting up my booking - she had a questionnaire about how I wanted to look, my eye color, etc. This really is a step above and makes sure she is prepared. Jessica was so responsive when I emailed her a few weeks before my big day. She traveled from Maine to Cape Cod during peak weekend and arrived early (bonus points!) and finished right on schedule. She did nine faces for my wedding, she's truly a rockstar! Everyone looked incredible and we were complimented all night long on our makeup! Everyone's makeup looked flawless all night long and I may have shed a tear at 3am when I was taking it off before bed. I would highly recommend Jessica for your wedding or any event! She makes your feel so beautiful!

Once we nailed down the venue for the wedding, Jessica was next on my list! I always knew that I wanted to work with Jessica on my wedding day. I have been following her work for years and truly admire her as an artist. I contacted her about a year out from the wedding date and I was so fortunate that it was the only date in June that she had left! So I booked immediately. My husband is not a big fan of a lot of make up and kindly asked me to not go all out with the make up. I shared this with Jessica and she knew exactly what to do. She made me feel so beautiful! My makeup was perfect, natural with a little emphasis on my eyes. I had a few images of inspiration for my hair and she nailed it! My hair was exactly what I had envisioned. She is so talented! I have very thin hair and she made me look like I had a ton of volume and a full head of hair! It didn't move an inch all night. Jessica is an very talented artist. Jess- is the freakin bomb, she’s really wonderful and cool and she’s also a make-up wizard i would recommend her to anyone and everyone my whole bridal crew ya never felt so glam and comfortable in our skin! Jessica is exceptional!! After seeing her work I knew I had to book her for my wedding day, she was probably the first vendor I booked after I found a venue. She was very responsive from the early stages of planning to answering random questions right up until the big day. At my trial, she had my mom, future mother-in-law and I laughing the whole time and impressed them with her glam work on me. The day of my wedding she arrived on time with Ashley and they worked super fast, we were done ahead of schedule! Everyone loved how they looked and I was so confident she nailed my vision for how I wanted to look on my wedding day. My hair and make-up stayed perfect all night long as well as all the other ladies; it photographed beautifully in photos and video. I would 100% recommend her to anyone looking for a funny, beautiful glam artist, you won't be disappointed!!

I cannot say enough good things about Jessica. Seriously. If I knew one thing was going to go absolutely right on my wedding day, it was that my hair and makeup would be absolutely flawless. And sure enough, it was!!! I didn't have a wedding party so it was just me, my mom and mother in law getting our glam done. My mother in law, who never wears a lick of makeup was a little apprehensive about having hers done because she was afraid it would look like too much. Jessica did an outstanding job with her especially, making her look natural and at the same time enhancing her features. My mom, who HATES her own hair, could have died over the style Jessica provided. She was thrilled! I love makeup, and do my own fairly heavy and often, loved the way Jessica captured my smokey (but not too smokey) eye for the big day. AND! My hair that always falls flat stayed steady despite wind and sweat. She is a talented, wonderful person and if you are in New England, you'd be LUCKY to have her as your glam artist!

Jessica is an artist. She couldn’t have done a better job with my bridesmaids hair/makeup as well as my mother’s. My moms exact words were “she took 20 years off of me!” and she hasn’t stopped talking about how confident she felt. My bridal hair/makeup was perfection....she nailed it. My wedding day truly would not have been what it was without Jessica. Her talent shines through her before and after photos, but she also provides ease and fun for her clients. She’s the best around, and will provide a glowing confidence for anyone she works with. Having her do my hair and makeup gave me such confidence walking down the aisle to my now husband, something I wouldn’t have had without her. Jess did a fabulous job, non of us took a bad picture! I knew when I first met Jess 3 years ago she had to do my makeup for my wedding some day. I actually decided on the wedding date for what summer weekends in June that she had available. We ended up having a Friday night wedding and the whole day was perfect. Where do I start?! Jess made my wedding day absolutely perfect. To start, I had 14 people that needed to get their hair and makeup done before our ceremony started at 2 p.m. She arrived at before 5 a.m. to make sure that we had PLENTY of time to get everyone done. Not only did we finish early, but everyone's hair and makeup was STUNNING. I cannot even being to keep count of how many new brides have asked where I got my hair and makeup done for my wedding. Jess made the day so stress free and relaxed. She listened to everything I requested and really made my dream come true. I felt so comfortable with her and she emphasized that she wanted to make sure that I looked exactly how I pictured myself. Two of my best friends are using her for their weddings and I cannot wait to be pampered by her again. Not only is she a hair and makeup guru but she truly is such a kind hearted and easy going person. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND! One more thing, my makeup did not move. I got my makeup done around 11 a.m. and my wedding went until 10 p.m. and I did not have to touch up anything. Everything was in tact and the same goes for my hair. Everything was just perfect! I wish I could give 10 stars.

Jessica is absolutely wonderful to work with and extremely talented. She really cares about making her clients happy and I felt like she listened to everything that I wanted. A truly professional makeup artist can create all different kinds of looks and that's exactly what you'll get from Jessica. I never wear foundation and don't use a lot of dark colors on my eyes and she worked with me to create a look that was glamorous and photographed beautifully without being heavy - and she's an eyelash wizard. I'm also very picky about my hair and she did an amazing job. She also made my mom, mother-in-law and bridesmaid look incredible, all by herself, ahead of schedule, and with an awesome, calming presence. Couldn't ask for anything more than that on the morning of my wedding!

Jessica created exactly the look I wanted for my wedding and all my bridesmaids looked absolutely beautiful. She is so unbelievably talented! Every bride wants to be the most beautiful version of themselves on their wedding day and Jessica helped me achieve that more than I could have even imagined. I'd like to start off by saying I worked on Newbury Street doing hair for 6 years, not to brag by any means, but because I have an eye for great work, and Jessica far exceeds that. I've followed her work for years on social media, and when I got engaged I knew I had to email her right away. Not only was I thrilled she was available and booked her on the spot, but I was pleasantly surprised by how humble she was and her competitive pricing. I would've absolutely paid 2-3x for the work she did any day; she is SO worth it. I had 12 bridesmaids, and her and Ashley started at 7am in Gloucester and we were all done by 2pm, and the level and amount of work they put into us was staggering and I still don't understand how they did it that fast. This woman is an absolute unicorn, and not only is she fabulous and stunning, but she's also a riot and calmed all of our nerves by cracking jokes the entire 7 hours. I would shout her name from the rooftops if I could, but I don't even think she needs the PR... her before and afters speak for themselves. Do yourself and your maids a favor and book this artist if you can!

We were married at the York Harbor Inn June 25 and Jessica did an awesome job on all of us ladies. Myself and my bridesmaids were floored with how great we looked! She pays attention to detail and is AMAZING. She's super cool, down to earth and friendly, which is great to have if your a nervous bride like I was!!

I am a wedding photographer and one of my brides recently booked Jessica Candage for her hair and make up. She looked STUNNING! Everything photographed beautifully and needed absolutely no retouching. During the first look, the groom's jaw hit the floor when he saw his beautiful bride! I photographed the couple on the rocky coast with wind / salty air and her hair still looked amazing and natural after. I highly recommend Jess if you want look and feel like your best self!

There is really no review I could ever write to fully express how amazing Jessica really is. Her work truly speaks for itself. She is so easy going and made me feel totally relaxed during the whole process. I've had my hair and makeup done a time or two and I am NEVER happy with the way it comes out. I got the vibe that told me I could trust Jessica to make my vision come alive, so I put my trust in her and I'm so thankful that I did! I absolutely loved the way she did my hair and my makeup was INCREDIBLE! I always have to touch up my makeup throughout the day, not the case on my wedding day! I had my hair and makeup done at 8am, they both weathered a sunny, 70 degree day and some blustery winds before my 4 o'clock ceremony. My hair was still in place and my makeup still looked freshly applied! It stuck with me through tears, cake, dancing, hugs, and a midnight burger - I even got rained on and I still had no problem with my makeup! I could go on for hours about my experience with Jessica and how awesome she was but honestly, you just have to see for yourself. She is incredible at what she does and you will thank yourself (and her!) for choosing Jessica to get you all glamed up on your special day!

Having Jess do my hair and makeup on our wedding day was one of the best decisions I've ever made. She is the best of the best and her work proves it. I felt like a queen on my wedding day and her work was flawless. In addition to my hair and makeup, she did my 6 bridesmaids, two mothers and flower girls makeup. Everyone was stunning and it couldn't have been better.

If you want to look like your best self on your wedding day I can't recommend Jess enough. I found Jess through Darling Photography and had my makeup and hair done for my engagement pictures. It misted at the beach the entire time and the makeup and hair held up flawlessly. I'm embarrassed to even admit this but my makeup was looking so fierce that I slept in it and got my license picture the next day. It still looked as fresh as when I had gotten it done...the next day people!! I was lucky enough to book her for my wedding as well. She traveled up to our wedding venue, brought an assistant and was so fast we even had time to kill before getting on our dresses. There was absolutely no rush, it was great jammin to Salt n Papa pandora and just talking with all the girls while getting ready. I was originally self conscious about how I would look on my wedding day. But once my hair and make up was done I slipped into my dressed and I really did feel like the most beautiful bride. It's tough to put so much trust into someone for one of the most important days in your life but Jess doesn't disappoint! One last thing that says a lot. My mom absolutely loved the way she looked for my big day. Can't thank Jess enough because my mom was smiling ear to ear in all the photos..thanks Jess! I hope to have another occasion to call and get glammed up again!

Overall experience was amazing from start to finish! Jessica is a true professional and made the getting ready process a breeze for myself, bridesmaids, mother and mother in law. Highly recommended and sought after! Will be using her in the future for sure! :)
