We had to book Jessica almost last minute due to problems with our original photographer. Let’s just say it was the best decision we made. She is VERY easy to work with, fun and energetic. She works with you with payments and timelines. She works very well with the other vendors. I had guests say they didn’t even realize she was there (a good thing) and she obtained beautiful shots for us.

My husband and I were lucky enough to have Jess photograph our wedding in October and we can’t recommend her highly enough! She was prepared and walked us through her portfolio highlighting photos from our venue and suggesting taking photos during golden hour on the hilltop overlooking the Hudson Valley. She answered all of our questions and was transparent about costs and expectations. We booked an engagement session as we were both very nervous about getting our pictures taken. Jess eased those feelings and made us feel comfortable and confident. Highly recommend doing this if you feel similarly! Throughout the planning process, Jess was very accessible via phone and email and offered helpful recommendations on how to make our day picture perfect. Jessica was so so so wonderful! We had her do both our engagement and wedding photos and my husband and I are floored at the quality and how quickly she delivered both sets. She made us feel comfortable in front of a camera which is not our strong suit and everyone in our wedding party loved her. I highly recommend Jess - she was quick to respond, flexible with changing engagement shoot dates due to weather, and made the wedding day so much easier and fun!

We are so happy we chose to work with Jess for our wedding reception in June of 2023 at the Pruyn House. We initially chose her after sifting through many Capital Region photographers because her photos had an artistic flair to them, they were romantic without being cheesy, and they were visually interesting. After having worked with her, I can say we were blown away with how organized she was, communicating with us every step of the way, from Zoom meetings months ahead of time and then a few check-ins getting closer, and her efficiency is next level. We’re also pretty awkward in front of a camera but she made posing fun. She understood family dynamics and we made a list of people we needed photos of which she was able to provide for us. What we (and our families!) were so impressed with on the day of was that she was able to gently borrow us, friends, and family members to take our requested group photos SO quickly and efficiently, and without disrupting any of the party. We are beyond thankful for all of our photos and the memories of that night and are so happy we went with Jess.

My husband and I both absolutely loved working with Jess! We opted to do a last minute engagement shoot two months before the wedding and Jess was about to accommodate with no issue. I feel so lucky to have found Jess and to have chosen her to photograph our wedding day. From the very beginning she was responsive, organized, and extremely professional. Jess was amazing from start to finish! We had interviewed a handful of photographers and we could just tell from Jess’s caring nature that she was right for us. Even over a year out from our wedding, during our first meeting she was figuring out our timeline for photographs and how much sunlight we would have. That right there showed me how much she cared for her clients. Every penny was worth it - and she will have my future business as well! Aside from Jess’s professional character, her personality is unmatched. Jess lights up a room when she’s there, always with a smile on her face that you can spot a mile away! Fate led us to Jess and we couldn't have asked for a more perfect person to capture our wedding day. Right after our first phone call together, I turned to my now husband and said, "She's cool. We are so glad to have worked with Jess for our wedding! She did both our videography and photography. She and her assistant, Sabrina, were both wonderful to work with. Please hire Jess! She was absolutely fantastic every step of the way. We had an engagement shoot with her a few months before our wedding which was a great way to break the ice. My husband and I don't have much experience in front of the camera, but Jess had us laughing and feeling natural the whole time. For our actual wedding day, Jess knew that we wanted great photos but also really wanted to spend time with our guests. She was so efficient in taking pictures that day but still managed to capture absolutely perfect light and gave us photos we'll treasure with all of our favorite people. I tend to not have the most natural smile in photos either, but every picture that Jess captured made my husband and I look phenomenal. She was super on top of our wedding timeline as well, and we were able to start and end every part of our day on time. I have known Jess as a person for probably as long as I've been alive, but knowing Jess as a photographer is an entirely different experience. I've booked 7 shoots with Jess from our wedding to family holiday cards to boudoir for an anniversary gift. Each experience she made us feel special and completely at ease while she was shooting. It's not always easy to get my husband and son to open up and genuinely smile for pictures, but Jess did it with ease after only having known them for minutes. She's meticulous and captures details I wouldn't have even thought to look for in person, and the end product is stunning photographs that I have and will treasure throughout the years. If you need someone to help you every step of the way, she has the experience and knowledge to guide you. If you have a specific vision that you're trying to capture, she somehow makes it more magical than the vision in your head. I can never recommend her enough, and I can't wait for our next shoot together :)

Fiances, you should stop searching right now and just hire Jess. She was beyond amazing through the entire process: charming, supportive and understanding from the first zoom to the last photo. Every moment was somehow captured and beautifully delivered. Other than my now husband, she was the best wedding decision I made. Jess coaxed smiles out of everyone, gently nudged me into taking (needed!) bride breaks, joked us through the family portrait line, and, perhaps best: was phenomenal with my kid. She was unobtrusive but ever present: whenever I turned to say, "Could you...?" she was there to take the photo. She even finished my braided up-do when my sister got stuck, and it was gorgeous. For those doing their own planning (we got married at my parents' house): the photography schedule of the day she created became the backbone of the whole wedding. I had no idea what I was doing, and she was always ready with an email answer or suggestion. Her lists helped me make my lists. I chose her originally because the couples in her portfolio looked incredibly happy and beautiful, glowing in a way that seemed achievable even for little-old-me. Throughout the super-stress process of planning the wedding, those couples' photos were a calming touchstone that yes, I would also be happy and beautiful, that my wedding was a dream that was actually possible. It was, and I was, with many thanks to Jess. And I have hundreds of gorgeous photos to prove it!

Jessica Gregg- there are truly no words. She was our superhero for our wedding last weekend! The night before our wedding at 10pm our videographer cancelled on us. We were fortunate enough to turn to Jessica who we hired to be our photographer and she jumped in saying she could also do our video. Legit life saving! We have already received some preview shots and a video teaser and they are all stunning. Jess has been helpful from the moment we had our first meeting, is extremely organized and was receptive to our wants and needs. She is easy to work with especially when my husband and I feel awkward in front of the camera. Our preview photos are remarkable, she has a beautiful eye and her work speaks for itself. I couldn't recommend Jess more. Photos and video were a huge part of our day and she is top notch.

Words cannot describe how wonderful it was to work with Jess! From the first time we talked with her, we knew that she was the right fit for us -- she instantly made us feel comfortable and calm. Where do we start… People don’t get much sweeter or easier to work with than Jess. At our engagement shoot, Jess went out of her way to make sure we were comfortable and spent double the amount of time with us than originally planned to make sure we all got to know each other. Being a same-sex couple, we were originally nervous about finding a photographer who understood us as people and as a couple. A few minutes after meeting Jess, we knew we were in the best hands possible. Jess was interested in getting to know us, and that came through in our photos. Jess has an incredibly artistic vision and style that we were immediately attracted to, while also bringing a classic lens to wedding photos - we had an amazing variety of pictures to enjoy and will marvel at for the rest of our lives. Jess was a great asset to our vendor team, and kept us all organized to ensure we got the shots we wanted (and provided our final photos to us in amazing time!). The most important thing we can say about Jess is that she paid attention… She heard what we wanted, she listened to us and those around us, and captured so many special moments that we will cherish for a lifetime.

Jess was phenomenal to work with for our wedding. We’re a queer, nontraditional couple with a dark, moody wedding theme primarily interested in capturing details and candid shots, and Jess is absolutely a master of her craft. Jess was amazing to work with. She made this whole process so easy in what can be a very stressful time. She reached out numerous times throughout the process and I truly felt like she was invested in getting to know us as a couple and capturing our special day. Jess is incredible. There is no better way to start this. The actual day of the wedding felt so crazy & again, Jess was just so chill about everything. It literally felt like she was apart of our friend group. We like to think we have a crazy bunch of friends and none of them phased Jess at all, she was so fun to work with. We got so many compliments about Jess the entire night and are still continuing to receive them. My wife and I feel like we are pretty awkward people so there were definitely a few nerves when it came to picture taking. Jess made us feel so comfortable and kept us laughing the entire time, the pictures that we've seen came out INCREDIBLE. We love them. We look at them every day. We can not wait to see the rest of them. We loved working with Jess, and we are trying to come up with reasons to have to hire her again!

Jess was a dream to work with. I was an overthinking bride trying my best not to micromanage everyone, and I was able to put the spreadsheet down and truly enjoy the day because Jess was so organized and three steps ahead. Where do I begin?! Working with Jess was an absolute dream. She has a very chill and calming energy that is exactly what every bride (and groom) need on their wedding day. She arrived early and kindly helped me wire my flower hair piece to my veil (!!) while still managing to capture EVERY special moment of us getting ready. My husband and I had a somewhat alternative wedding in a non traditional venue with tons of DIY details, live music and a large guest list. We knew we did not want a photographer who was in our faces and only focused on portraits and groups but who would capture the unique details and personality of us and the event. Jessica not only brought out artistic vision to fruition but she put us all at ease and felt like a part of the family.
