And although we realize we are running a business, your wedding shouldn't be treated as such. life HARDER. My best friend was the bride. She booked under the impression it would be Jessica and her mother Cheryl. Cheryl was in control of everything.
She fought the bride, MOB, and MOH every step of the way. Before you ask, no it was not just nudging her in a helpful direction. Every design choice was wrong in her eyes. Everything the bride wanted, she pushed to do the opposite.
Day of the wedding, I’ve never witnessed a coordinator be disrespectful to the MOB. Cheryl was dismissive, rude, and combative. Another bridesmaid and I took control during cocktail hour to ensure decor was moved into the exact spots the bride asked for (Cheryl was wanting to set things up in the way she wanted.) Had we not stepped in to move things, the reception space would not have been ready on time.
She worked at a glacial pace. She never said she would need to hire extra staff for set up/take down, or that she would need assistance from bridal party, family, etc. Myself, other bridal party members, and bride/groom family broke down the ENTIRE VENUE since everything needed to be gone that same night.
Not once did I ever see her go up to the bride or groom during the day to check-in. I planned my wedding from another state, and my coordinator was more attentive than this woman ever was.
The bridal party might as well have just ran the whole wedding day ourselves. Way to act more like a monster-in-law than a kind and organized wedding coordinator.

We booked the month of coordinator plus package. The package prices were very reasonable for the services Cheryl provided. Throughout the year of wedding planning Cheryl was there to answer any questions we had along the way, she reached out often to make sure we were on track. She offered design ideas, recommended vendors, provided advice on staying within budget, gave us advice on handling sticky situations, put together and managed the perfect day of wedding timeline, and much more. She expertly handled our week of wedding changes with calmness and facilitated those changes with our venue.
Cheryl really helped to make our dream wedding a reality. Her expertise, professionalism, attention to detail, and personality made for a wonderful wedding planning experience and unforgettable wedding!

Cheryl to take care of the vendor coordination including transportation and time management on the day of the wedding.
The day before the wedding, we wanted to meet at the venue to go over final details together with the bridal party. Unfortunately Cheryl showed up 30 minutes late (the complete bridal party was waiting in the full sun) and ran out of time since we had to get to our welcome happy hour for our guests.
The day of the wedding, the bride and bridesmaids arrived at the venue 2 hours before the ceremony was supposed to begin and nothing was ready. Cheryl or her assistant (who we specifially requested and paid for extra to have double the coverage on the day of the wedding) were nowhere to be found. There was nobody to take care of the wedding party and vendor timeline, so the bride and bridesmaids ended up running into the groom and groomsmen and did not have time to hide out at the venue that was specifically booked for the wedding. The bride and groom did not have time to take pictures with wedding guests. It was limited to 5 minutes of pictures with family while dinner was served. The reception vendors were not briefed properly on the timing and several things went wrong. But for us the biggest problem was the transportation. We asked Cheryl specifically to take care of the transportation on the day of the wedding, but she did not communicate with them and our guests ended up waiting on a dark parking lot in the cold for over 1.5h past the end of the reception (10pm). We had a few guests that got sick that night and one of the female guests even fell and broke her leg since she could not stand on her heels anymore.
We are utterly disappointed by the Day Of Coordination and do not think, that the $3000 we paid for the service was justified for the service we received. We do think Cheryl is a very friendly and kind person, but would not recommend her this kind of organizational role!

we had to postpone and she was very supportive. She has such a bubbly and funny personality it really helped ease the stress of the wedding and bring levity to the event. She was organized and extremely knowledgeable. She really knew how to wrangle the wedding party too (the groomsmen were scared of her hahah). The rehearsal went very smoothly and omg did she knock it out of the park for the wedding. I gave her a bunch of hodge podge eclectic decorations and explained my vision to her and she NAILED it. She kept everything on schedule and cleaned up super fast. For such a little lady she sure is a firecracker. We absolutely loved her. She felt like part of the family. Thank you Jess. tty expensive. Cheryl was by far the most fair priced and extremely easy to talk to, which made my decision to hire her extremely easy. I could tell in talking with her this was something she was very passionate about, and it showed in every step of the process with her. She really went above and beyond to make sure our wedding was everything we wanted. She handled everything from the logistics down to the tiniest decorative details. When the wedding had to be moved inside last minute due to weather, she handled all the logistics and stress that came with that with so much grace. I was so thankful for her.

evident that both of them do a great job running their business I worked directly with Cheryl. Cheryl and Jessica were friendly from day one, they scheduled a chat over the phone before I booked them to talk about the needs for our wedding. They were awesome listeners and from the first phone call they made me feel less stressed about the entire process. My husband and I feel so lucky to have found them, they answered all of our questions and they also gave us great pointers even before we booked them. Wedding planning can get expensive but Jessica Lynn Weddings was affordable and the services they provided were outstanding! The day of the wedding Cheryl was amiable, kind, and approachable with all of our family members and guests. Since early in the morning she was available for us and she helped us relax throughout the day. On our wedding day everything was beautiful, she made sure that my husband David and I were well taken care of at the reception. We were able to enjoy our wedding day as we hoped and all of our guests loved it.

before mine and was highly recommended - that and I was already familiar with how she worked! When I reached out to her to have her help me with my wedding, she even remembered who I was, which made me feel like she cared. She was always available for me to ask her opinion on styling and was able to set me up with someone to do our signage. She was clear and direct and honest about what should go where, how it should look, if it could be done, etc. She narrowed my focus and made me feel way more confident in my special day! I was a bit of a last minute planner (bit being an understatement - I finalized the music a week before the wedding!) and she ALWAYS made sure to keep a level head and to make sure I kept a level head. Her mom, Cheryl, was SO SWEET too. She kept me grounded and light-hearted throughout the whole process and had great ideas of her own. Her services are also a la carte, which allowed me to tailor exactly what I needed help with and add on services as I went throughout the planning process. Also, brides - SHE IS AFFORDABLE. I felt like her prices were such a steal with how much she helped!! exactly what I wanted for my wedding -- the selling factor was her variety of packages and her A La Carte services. I was looking for just a Day of Coordinator, but I loved having the option of adding more sessions if I wanted it.
Jessica was absolutely I could have asked for in a coordinator and more! Communication was a DREAM with her (a must with any vendor, but especially since I was planning from a different state!) She went above and beyond to answer the countless questions I had. She was flexible in working with my hectic schedule for in person meetings whenever I was in town, and genuinely took the time to know us as a couple and our vision for our wedding day.
As a highly Type A, detailed-oriented person, I was a bit apprehensive letting putting someone else in charge of the biggest day of my life. But with Jessica, I felt completely comfortable letting her take the reigns. She knows the industry well, and you can definitely tell how competent and comfortable Jessica is with all things wedding. She was always funny and delightful to talk to, but her no-nonense attitude definitely got the job done, when necessary.

She even planned the day of timeline and made sure everyone knew where they needed to be on our big day. She is super organized and detailed oriented. It really put my mind at ease knowing she was there managing it all the days leading up to our wedding and even on the wedding day. We had the most wonderful wedding day that was full of fun and no-stress because I had her there taking care of everything behind the scenes. lready been planned and Jessica brought up several things I had not thought of, which was great. Then she immediately reached out to all my vendors, photographer, shuttle service, DJ, etc. to coordinate with and between them. Once she took something over, I never had to worry about it again. Day of the ceremony, she handled literally everything. I could NOT have been more amazed and impressed and grateful for everything she did for us. I was able to relax and focus on hair and makeup and photos. My bridesmaids were able to do the same, and my family was able to have a good time the entire day because they didn’t have to lift a finger. No arguing, no drama, no disasters… if anything went wrong, I was blissfully unaware. I’ll just say it again, I don’t know how I could have done it without her.

In the early planning stages, we thought we could manage without a co-ordinator, but looking back on that day, hiring Jessica was the best decision we ever made!!!
