She will literally go the extra mile-- she never had hidden fees or surprise charges. She met me at a cake shop and a florist because I was having a hard time... the list goes on. The day of my wedding, she helped me focus on the important things. [Bridezilla is a real thing, guys-- you need someone like her to keep your eyes on the prize!] If she wasn't there, I would've been a wreck, honestly. She kept everything going on a schedule [not even her job but I needed the help so she did], and the images are priceless. Even my groom, who typically couldn't care less about wedding things was asking about when our wedding photos would come back. [She processed them in record time, by the way]. We just knew they'd be amazing... and they are! I got images we will cherish for the rest of our lives, but I also gained a wonderful friend in Jessica. She is also a wealth of knowledge [she introduced me to the Cappuccino at Urth Cafe... also life changing] and an incredibly genuine person with a real vision. and kind. We wanted the quality of extremely expensive photography but can't come close to paying for that, so we really struggled to find the right photographer. Jessica was the only one we found who didn't crush our bank account and had stellar photo quality. She found awesome settings for our engagement pictures, helped us deal with some pretty gnarly and cold winds, and tuned out our loud, attention-grubbing dog who we used in some of the photos. We were also on a time crunch to get the pictures turned around, and he totally put up with our pressuring her for time. And when we got them back, we were so impressed! I'm definitely not comfortable in front of the camera, and while I felt a little awkward still, the photos looked incredible. Our friends said that we looked like models! We absolutely love the pictures and are so excited to have her shoot our wedding as well. It's clear she loves and enjoys her job and that doing it well is important to her. it moves you. So I compared her packages to about 15 other photographers in the greater LA area and her pricing was so crazy-good that my fiance and I just had to meet with her. We met Jessica and had a wonderful pow-wow about the way she works and what she recommends and our vision for the big day. We booked her (early!) for our June wedding and did an engagement photo shoot in Long Beach. Jessica is an inspired artist and stays so present and interested when you meet with her to talk about your event, but let me tell you, when she is behind that camera in action, she is 100% in her element. I have worked with photographers for a number of different reasons over the years, and not all of them are suited to work with people as their picture subject. Jessica is so good at making you feel like you are in the best hands possible, she keeps things moving, can tell if you are feeling stiff, knows how to find the most beautiful light and backgrounds, all with a smile. When we got those engagement photos back and they had been treated with love and amazing skills we were stunned at the effects. The wedding was wonderful. Jessica had a second shooter who also worked beautifully with her and us. When there were moments of down-time, Jessica had awesome creative ideas about things and people and places to keep shooting. She was marvelous at organizing and orchestrating the family portraits right after the ceremony. And she had a ton of creative fun with my husband, our party, and me.

Throughout our communications she was always very professional, super sweet, and very prompt in every reply. And of course, her photos speak for themselves! She's commonly featured on StyleMePretty, The Knot, etc. and you could be too! She use soft natural lighting and make sure your photos have a variety of shots, romantic, classic, natural, posed, whimsical, fun, wide angles, close ups, you'll have so many beautiful shots to choose from... That will be your biggest problem! My bestie told me when she got her photos back (by another photographer) she only had a few she liked. When we received our shots, it was quite the opposite! Jessica and her assistant work so well together that they capture you looking your best! And they're such pleasant and sweet themselves. We truly felt blessed to be working with a team who truly have passion and pride in their talent and hard work. We absolutely love love love all of our photos and I couldn't recommend anyone else to any of my besties! Jessica is amazing! As if she wasn't already our new best friends, she offered us a free post session to make sure we had even more shots together!!!! She really is the greatest and I'm sure you'll agree. This is the day you want to capture so perfectly, and Jessica will do that for you.

fore getting engaged and had a very long engagement to take time planning things. It was of the utmost importance to me that we had a relaxed and fun evening. I wanted everyone, especially the groom and I to be relaxed and be able to take in the moments of the day since many had been waiting so long. I knew an easy day revolved around picking the right vendors because lets be honest, most of the horror stories you hear are about a rude florist, a late cake delivery, and worst of all ugly photos! Yikes. So I took my time to find a photographer… working hard to find someone that captured the romantic and relaxed style of wedding I wanted. My searching was aimless for a long time until I gave up and used the knot search engine. I was very weary of using a search because how could I ever tell what kind of work ethic and focus the photographer had without a first hand referral. There were many results….but within those many was Jessica Grazia Mangia Photography, that stood out for her beautiful website and ample example pictures. I loved her style inside and out and emailed her, half expecting not to hear back from her as many others will do. I heard back from the lovely Jess, owner and photographer, who was beyond amazingly nice and willing to come meet with me for a consult. She brought a warm welcoming spirit that made me feel at ease. It took about 1 hour for me to email her telling her wed love her to photograph our wedding, I tried giving my fiancé a say but he was more impressed at how happy and comforted I sounded after my meeting with Jess. Coolest thing was that Jess welcomed me to email and share pictures of photo styles/poses I liked…which I totally did! (not too many photogs are even open to that) and which in turn she recreated for us in her view and were just stunning. So the day off was quite busy but most importantly not stressful!!! Jess and her assistant got to our venue early (which is properly on time), had compact equipment that never got in the way, greeted my family and guests respectfully, and super importantly made my husband and I feel beyond at ease. It was like we had known them for years. We opted to do a first look, which they set up wonderfully and also stood back enough to let us feel like we were the only two in the room. Realizing how much I have said about Jess…. I know there is much more to add. But to sum it up… Plain and simply put, Jessica Mangia, is an incredibly gifted artist that captured our wedding day flawlessly! We are ever so grateful to her for her beautiful work and serving heart. We shared great laughs with her and wish her the best of success.

nd even as sister of the bride I can say that. When me and Becca whent to meet her we both were exhausted by the million of other meetings with other vendors and especially photographers. We were ready for the usual rant about how great and unique the photographer is, but we've got a big surprise! She welcomed us and she ask to go and get a coffee or a tea at Sturbacks! She didn't offer to pay,it wasn't a way to flatter, was just genuine. Once we've got there, we started talking about our favourite coffee and and immediately the conversation was relaxed and became surprisingly friendly: girls afternoon out! Smoothly we moved into the wedding details and eventually she explained her professionalism and her prices, she gave us a full explanation of everthing and a lot of suggestions not just on the photography matter. We left the meeting with a light heart and after two days Becca called her back to book her services. When Becca and Scott did their engagement photoshoot and I saw the photos I was very excited at the point that I forced my boyfriend to have our engagement photographed by Jess too; not to mention how all of us, are happy for the final result with the wedding! OMG her photos are beautiful and we are very proud for our choice! Money well spent!!!!! Thank you cute little Jess! You're a bomb!
