We loved working with Jess from the very beginning. Our first phone call she was professional yet funny, and after viewing a few galleries we knew she was the one for us. When we had our engagement shoot at Franklin Park Conservatory she put us at ease, taught us how to pose, and took so many photos. From the moment we met her at our engagement shoot, Jess made us feel like we were hanging out with a friend! For two people who don’t love getting their picture taken, she made the time we spent together comfortable and fun. She did a great job incorporating our anxious dog into the session and got some wonderful pictures of her with us. We cannot say enough great things about Jessica and Ty. When we did our engagement shoot in the fall at a local park, we thought we were clever enough to choose a day nobody else would show up. It was packed – with people also getting their photos taken. However, it was very clear that we had the best photographer out of everyone there. She eased our nerves effortlessly and produced the absolute best photos of us ever taken (until the wedding photos, of course!). At the wedding, both her and Ty did a fantastic job keeping us on time with our photo sessions before and after the ceremony. The photos absolutely captured the fun and romance of the day. Jessica also designed a beautiful physical album using pictures of our choosing. The hardest part of that was figuring out how to whittle down the hundreds of excellent photos from the digital album down to 75 for the physical album. Our mothers love their copies too. Professional, personable, creative, and worth every penny!

We just got married in November and to say Jessica absolutely made our wedding is an understatement! When we selected our date we made sure Jessica was available, she did our engagement session as well as our wedding ceremony and reception. We explained what we wanted our vision to be for our wedding and she completely owned it! Her eye is incredible and her attention to detail is unmatched! We worked with Jess in the summer of 2022 for our backyard wedding in Columbus. From the beginning, Jess was a joy to work with. She took the time to get to know us and our style. She was a great communicator and answered all of our questions. She was always very professional but also lighthearted and friendly. We felt like we had known her for years. The weather for both our engagement and wedding shoot days ended up being challenging, but Jess eased our minds and made everything work smoothly. For our engagement shoot, it both rained and snowed (with some gusty winds too) but Jess was able to pivot and work with us to still shoot at multiple locations around downtown Columbus that fit our desired aesthetic. Our wedding day was also a bit unique because the venue was both indoors and outdoors at a private residence. It ended up being a very hot day in June, and Jess worked with us to shoot in different areas all around the property throughout the day—having to deal with different lighting, backgrounds, and sweaty faces. All the photos turned out beautifully. Everyone at our wedding loved Jess, and she did such a great job of directing and making sure we got all of the different shots we wanted. Receiving and viewing the digital photos online after the event was also easy. She captured every moment of the day, and organized and edited the photos so that it was easy for us to browse, download, and share with our family and friends. Part of why we chose Jess was for her editing style, which felt very natural, timeless, and not overdone or trendy. We also went back and forth with Jess on selecting the photos and layout for our printed album. She responded so quickly to our edits, questions, and changes. The printed album turned out perfectly. The design, quality of the book, and printed photos were incredible. We would, without hesitation, recommend Jess for your wedding.

I booked Jessica pretty far in advance before our wedding and I really appreciated how she would keep in touch throughout the time before our wedding. Ever since Jess photographed my sister’s wedding several years ago, I knew I wanted her to photograph ours. She is SO incredibly talented and easy to work with. She can compose interesting shots quickly; capturing candid moments and intricate details. She has a very natural style, and no matter where you’re getting married, Jess can make it look marvelous. We hired Jess to photograph our backyard wedding and reception. We opted for an extra hour at the reception, rather than getting engagement photos. Even though we hadn’t really worked with Jess before the wedding, she was very easy-going and fun to work with. We were a little rushed before the ceremony, but she was able to capture everything, including all of the shots we had asked for, and didn’t make us feel stressed at all. She also took the time to take photos of most of our guests. We didn’t ask her to do that, but are so glad to have them! The photos are truly amazing. We couldn’t be happier with her work! She was friendly, professional, easy to communicate with, and always had a calm and collected demeanor. We would definitely recommend her!

All I can say is.. Wow! One of the best decisions we made for our wedding was hiring Jess. I knew it from the first minute of our introductory phone call. She was so personable, enthusiastic, and supportive. She was extremely helpful in guiding us through building a timeline and such a joy to be around during our engagement and wedding day photos. Keep in mind you are with your photographer more than most other people on that day (aside from your spouse) so having a good dynamic is key! Jessica was AMAZING from the first phone call to getting our wedding photos to us! She was beyond helpful in getting a timeline in order for booking vendors, amazing at recommending places for our engagement photos, and not to mention putting up with a huge group of crazy people on the day of the wedding! She went so above and beyond with literally everything and I couldn't recommend her enough!

We cannot recommend Jess enough! Not only is she a fantastic photographer but she is knowledgeable, kind, professional, and helpful. We hired her for our microwedding in February and for our reception in August. The venues and atmospheres were different at each event, and she was able to perfectly capture the unique vibe of both. She is very talented; she doesn't use canned postures - she is able to style the poses and photos to each individual couple, wedding party, and the venue. Our microwedding was on a very rainy day and she brought the cutest umbrellas so we could have some outdoor photos. The day of our reception there was a festival on the Main Street bridge but Jess was able to place us so it looks like we are the only people on this huge bridge. She sent over the sneak peek photos the day after each event. She is prompt and responsive to questions. Tyler Scott, the second shooter she hired for our microwedding, did a great job with the men. The only difficult part is that she took so many wonderful pictures that we are having trouble picking the ones for our album! You will not go wrong working with Jess!

I said to my now spouse at the start of wedding planning - there was one thing important to me, and that was photography. Since I knew we'd have the pictures the rest of our lives - it was important to get the best photographer we could. The reviews on here are spot on accurate. Jessica is with out doubt the best photographer in town. Her work is stunning -and after we got our engagement photos back - we knew we made the right choice. Besides for her results - she made the planning process so easy. She's both bubbly and patient - but also extremely knowledgeable and organized. She's also very efficient. We requested a lot of family photos - so she was not afraid to shout orders which was absolutely necessary to keep things running on time. We found Jessica last minute through a recommendation after having to cancel our original wedding plans due to COVID, opting for a small, backyard wedding with immediate family only.
