xpressing my sincere apologies for the unfortunate incident that occurred in the morning. I understand how frustrating that must have been for the bride and wedding party. This review came out as a shock to me. When I apologized for what happened on the wedding day, I was treated with nothing but understanding, respect, and kindness. It seemed like there were no issues to be addressed at the time. I only learned of their true feelings after the review was posted. In an effort to make things right, I offered a full refund. Thankfully no one else got wet besides me and one of the bridesmaids who helped me retrieve all the items out of the room quickly. Although the wedding dress did get wet, it didn't get damaged. The bridesmaids were able to dry it out with a hairdryer while getting ready before the ceremony. Despite having a rough start in the morning, we were still able to take getting-ready photos. This incident did not affect the rest of the wedding day. Time was a crucial factor, and we had to make a quick decision. The only location with adequate lighting was outside the church. We couldn’t take the photos inside as we were trying to avoid guests exiting the church and creating a "greeting line" that would have delayed the photos and timeline. Additionally, the church had its own schedule to follow. Moreover, the church (in Orleans) was located 25 minutes away from the reception venue (Wellfleet), and considering the summer traffic on Cape, we had to ensure that we stayed on schedule. We believe we made the best decision given the circumstances that were presented to us at that moment. However, despite our best efforts, it can be a challenging task as we do not have control over the movements and preferences of people. For example, some guests may have stepped away or left early, or may simply not wish to have their photo taken. While we strive to capture candid moments of guests during the reception, our priority is to ensure that we capture all the formalities, such as the first dance, toasting, and cake cutting. Overall, we delivered 1300 photos of the entire day. Our delivery time for final photos is typically 8-12 weeks. However, 2022 was not an average year for the wedding industry, with many postponed weddings and high demand due to the COVID situation. Unfortunately, I had health issues during that time as well, which contributed to the four-week delay. To show our appreciation for our 2022 brides who had their galleries delayed, we offered a free 20x16 canvas as a gift. As someone who has been in the wedding industry for seven years and has done over 150 weddings, I apologize for any inconvenience caused.
