all to the day of, they kept in regular communication and maintained a great energy that helped us keep the good vibes going all day! We had a smallish wedding (65 guests) and I wanted to surprise my husband with a vintage car. Jessica helped me coordinate that, and her knowledge of the venue (RI Roger Williams State Park Casino) was incredibly useful when planning the first look schedule. She was also able to walk us through the family photos, and having the second cameraman really helped get good shots of the ceremony and the staged photos with the car. Jessica herself was an absolute pleasure to work with, and she was great at keeping us on schedule. When the reception came and our cake was cut later than expected, Jessica offered to stay late, and was extremely accommodating to our unexpected requests (for example, to end our time at the carousel with a trip to a nearby ice cream stand). Jessica was able to roll with the punches, and wrangle our families together for photos! She was exuberant and professional throughout the entire process, and honestly, I wish she lived closer so we could be friends! She got along great with the wedding party, and stepped in to help out when we lost track of the caterer or had to flag down my mother, etc. She was also incredibly patient with my many, many questions, and we were so lucky to have her there. I’m already thinking of times we can order photos from her in the future! 1000% recommend! Oh and I know many people ask about this - she got the photos turned around in good time and mailed us a flash drive with the whole set. Her website was also easy to use, and she was upfront about all the costs, which I really appreciated (it’s hard enough to plan a wedding with them!) Thank you, Jessica and Adam!

a new friend” after the initial meeting with Jess. On the wedding day, Mother Nature graced us with a rain that was falling sideways, which required us to change some of our planned pictures. Jess was on top of things and incredibly flexible and quick to respond to thoughts/suggestions on what pictures we would like for our first look shots. Her respect for the moment was not lost on us either when the tears flowed during our first look while Jess patiently, quietly and expertly moved around capturing the moment perfectly. I continually smiled after hearing the click of the camera because it was usually followed by a squeal of excitement from Jess looking at the screen on her camera. When her 2nd shooter, Adam, mentioned an idea, the excitement and subsequent “oooo good call!” from Jess just filled the room with even more positive energy. Day turned to night, and as the reception began, the skies cleared. Jess, being the opportunist, rounded up as many people as she could for outdoor shots under the twinkle lights. I knew she was feeling the moment when she dragged my wife and I over to a fire pit and positioned us on one side, and then laid down on the ground on the opposite side. After hearing multiple “oh heck yea this is gunna be awesome”, our excitement for the final product grew even more! It has now been 2-weeks since our wedding, and we still mention how much fun Jess was to have at our wedding. Not just as a professional photographer, but as a guest. She is personable, social, and constantly smiling/laughing! We are incredibly excited to see what the images look like once we receive them. . When I saw Jess’s portfolio, I knew she was the one! She helped us create a custom Wedding package that included an engagement shoot and digital copies of our pictures. For our engagement photos, we wanted high-quality warm, fun, vibrant, and natural photos. All qualities that my partner and I share, and boy did Jess deliver! From the moment I hired her, she became our most trusted advisor, and best friend. From hour-long video chats to narrow down our vision, to calming my nerves when we had to change location last minute, she was there for me. At the engagement photo shoot, she set the tone as lighthearted, fun, and romantic, and boosted our confidence! We just had a blast! When we received our engagement photos back just one week later, she delivered them in an elegant, professional password-protected digital portfolio. The photos are beautiful! We are beyond pleased with how they came out, and the energy at the shoot came through in the infectious laughter and intimate moments Jess captured. UPDATE: For our Wedding, Jess had many video chats with us about what we wanted for our big day, and, together, we came up with a foolproof plan. Unfortunately, 3 days before the Wedding Disaster struck! Jess fell and broke her foot, and would not be able to shoot our wedding! Luckily for us, Jess is the ultimate wedding industry professional, and before she could even call me to tell me what happened, she already had a solution. She arranged for her long-time colleague Adam Franco to shoot the wedding, and even threw in an extra hour of photography to make up for the last-minute change. Jess had already been such a big support over the wedding planning journey, that I knew I could trust her judgement, and that Adam would be a great photographer. On the day of, he was on time, prepared with the shot-list I had compiled with Jess in hand, and he had a great manner with our bridal party and close family during formal portraits. The rest of the day, I barely noticed his presence as he flitted around and grabbed the most amazing shots of the wedding. This was absolutely the best day of our lives, and Adam felt like an old friend; we were totally comfortable with him. After the wedding, Jess took over by editing the photographs that Adam had captured. Fast forward to about 4 weeks later, and Jess mailed me a USB with a lovely note. In total, we received 791 crisp, clear, high resolution and beautifully edited Wedding Day photos. I cannot begin to express how happy we are with these photos. Some of my family members have suffered from life-threatening health issues in recent years, and to have high quality, formal and informal professional photos of them all, happy and healthy, is so meaningful. I plan on ordering prints of these photos from Jess as Christmas presents for my Family. Jess is simply the best there is. Her professionalism, her fun loving personality, her skills, and most importantly, her friendship set her head and shoulders above other photographers. I plan on working with her whenever I can. When we first met Jess it was like reuniting with an old friend and we knew immediately that she would make this experience as painless for my fiancé as possible. The day of the photo shoot we both were so nervous (I mean come on it’s awkward right!!?). Jess showed up and within two minutes of being with her we were both so calm. Our photos are unique to us, they capture our love, our relationship, and our personalities- something we didn’t have to tell her she just picked up on. In addition to the photos coming out better then I could have ever imagined we actually really enjoyed the experience of getting them done (even my fiancé!) We laughed the entire time so none of those cheesy smiles photos. When the shoot was done my fiancé and I talked the whole day about how awesome Jess was. I can’t believe we almost didn’t have an engagement shoot! I am so glad we ended up going through with it and that we chose Jess.
