I fell in love with every picture she took between our engagement session and our wedding album. The colors were lovely in each shot. Extra Special images came in both color and black and white.
What was so special about Jess’ work is seeing the natural heartfelt moments where I/other were in joy, she captured it! There are pictures of so many loved ones from my day that I’m gifting to cousins and friends because they are family photos that they would treasure.
Her presence around family and friends was so fun and engaging! Her documentary style was beautiful as a final product and I can’t wait to connect with her again in the future when we have a family. Thank you Jess for all the special pictures!
We have the best, cutest wedding shots! As someone who isn’t very photogenic or have any sense of style, Jess knew how to catch flattering angles and light that helped me feel beautiful and I can look back on these memories and feel so good and special. She did a great job pre wedding of making sure she understood what we wanted from her. And on the wedding day, she felt like a guest who naturally caught special moments without feeling like those moments had to be stopped and staged. And then we got our pictures back from her so fast. She is the best!
We waited a very long time for our wedding due to the pandemic and Jess was amazing all along the way. I was initially drawn to her candid, journalistic style of photography because I wanted something that accurately showed the joy of the day- while also paying attention to making us look good. Those 2 things are usually opposite skills for a photographer, but not for Jess! She perfectly married (pun intended) our joy with our honest reactions (while making us look good) without making things too trendy or posed. She's super responsive and worth the money. Highly recommend, especially if you're looking for something beautiful and timeless.
