e was extremely sweet and professional from the first conversation. I encourage Jessie to take full reign of our wedding day, as my husband and I had no clue what we wanted. Jessie stepped up to the challenge and we are beyond thrilled with our sneak previews!!! Our families are excited to see the entire album and mentioned how lovely Jessie was throughout our wedding day. I am super thankful to have Jessie by my side and recommending her to anyone looking for a fine art photographer. Hopefully I have another chance to work with her again for any future family photo sessions ;)

We were so glad we did — it gave us a chance to really get to know her and she captured the most beautiful moments in the city. We are so glad we found her and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a photographer!!

have never had professional pictures taken so I was uneasy about the way I would photograph(because let’s face it, the day is ALL ABOUT YOU LADIES 😊) and she was so helpful in putting me in the right place and making sure I was happy with the way the photos were turning out. I’m really not sure I can say enough; her elegant taste, or the way she kept everyone on track during my day, and her ease to get along with so everything would go how I wanted it to go! She’s amazing, worth every penny!

th. Our engagement photos were absolutely beautiful. She is genuinely kind and calm which makes it very easy to relax around her. She was very organized on the day of our wedding. It is impressive how she alternates between 3 different cameras for a digital and film experience. She is prompt to respond to text and email. She had wonderful ideas for our engagement photos, such as outfits/time of day etc and our wedding such as suggesting an exit with ribbon wands - yet, she was always respectful of our likes/dislikes. We loved working with her and love how she captures so many beautiful moments. Her style is candid, dreamy, and elegant. HIGHLY recommend!

ade me feel like I could do it all day (which obviously we did). She sent me a couple to preview and I couldn't believe how gorgeous they were! I am such an awkward picture taker but she made me look like the bride I dreamed of being in those pictures. Last but not least her prices were so reasonable it was destiny for her to capture our special day! So if you are looking for someone to fit your budget, take the most gorgeous pictures you have ever seen of yourself and make this the easiest thing you will do for your wedding... Well then Jessie is your girl! Thank you times a million Jessie for all you did for Scott and I.

ful and incredibly helpful. She was professional but also so kind and approachable in a way that made us feel truly comfortable and "ourselves" in front of the camera. If I had a dollar for every friend of mine that has asked who did our engagement photos, it would pay for the entire wedding! The finished product exceeded every expectation I had, and I am so thankful to Jessie for capturing so many beautiful moments for us! I would highly recommend her to anyone looking for a stress-free experience because Jessie absolutely delivers! To quote my photo-reluctant fiancé, "That was actually pretty fun!"

a Destination Wedding; local to Auburn, AL. Jessie captured the day as if she had known us forever! The first time we met, I asked her to tell a story, through her "eyes" of this day. The story is beautiful! She kept Bridesmaids, Groomsmen, Family and even the Bride and Groom all "in line" and all smiling! Jessie was our calm on a day that was filled with confusion, storms (like raining hard) and family members that had not spoken in years. And the funny thing is, I hardly saw her! But I felt her calm. And will always be thankful!
I have gone back at looked at the photos from that day so many times. The story was told the exact way it happened. We are not a perfect family.. We step on the veil, we get glitter in our eyes, our little ones danced in swimsuits. But it was OUR day and the photos are OUR story!
Oh yes, and the photos are breathtaking! So beautiful!
Call her. You will thank yourself!!
Jessie is so easy to work with! She really listens to what you envision for your day while also giving advice on what she thinks will work best! She’s also very good at telling you...
how to stand for the pictures (because we had no idea what we were doing lol) and how to capture the perfect angle while also making sure every hair is in it’s correct place. She has fun while taking pictures and is so easy going (which can be hard when also having 3 dogs to photograph). She is also very kind and puts you at ease about the whole wedding process and truly cares about each of her clients. We have had so many compliments on our engagement pictures, and I can’t wait for her to capture our big day in March! There is no doubt in our minds that Jessie is the perfect fit for our special day!

While helping my sister plan her wedding, from the beginning she envisioned a beautiful outdoor wedding at sunset. God had other plans and a hurricane was predicted to hit our city...
the afternoon of the wedding. The afternoon before the ceremony, I called Jessie to discuss a backup plan since the afternoon forecast was 100% rain. She suggested a sunrise ceremony before the storm came in, so that my sister's dream of an outdoor wedding would come true. She did not hesitate at all, it was her priority also for the bride's day to be perfect. I am so thankful she did, the photos turned out beautiful, we will have these priceless memories for a lifetime. From the moment you first meet Jessie, you will fall in love with her sweet personality, she is a joy to be around. By the end of the day, she felt like part of the family. I cannot say enough wonderful things about her.

ing knowing that we need not look any further. Jessie and my daughter hit it off immediately due to Jessie's friendly personality, patience in answering questions, and salesmanship. We were very impressed with her work and felt her prices were right in line with other photographers we had researched. And I am here to report that Jessie did not disappoint. My daughter and her fiancé chose an outside wedding which turned out to be a beautiful fall day. Jessie took advantage of the colors in the trees and the gorgeous running river that ran behind the altar. She captured so many special moments from the time the wedding party started getting ready until the happy couple drove off to start their life. Jessie took shots that we didn't even know she had taken until we got the pictures back. So many family and friend and group pictures that will be forever treasured. Jessie even handled our family situation (divorced parents) so that no one felt uncomfortable.
If you are a bride that is looking for a photographer you will be so pleased if you book Jessie. Your wedding shots are not something a bride needs to take a chance with a friend or a family member, but use someone that is professional. Jessie Barksdale will produce pictures that you will be able to look back on your wedding day for years to come and relive every moment of your special day!
